Like... There is this (kinda nice-ish) lake by my house... I can walk there in about three minutes... I decided to look at random people's pictures on facebook today. I found out that a lot of my (facebook >.>) friends... uh... "hang out" at the lake. It's like... weird >.> I'm tempted to just sit there and wait until I see someone I know and like... attack them or something

I've been having real problems with one of my teeth lately. I've noticed there's like a huge hole in the side of one of my bottom teeth where it's obviously been eaten at by plaque ect... It hurts quite a lot and cleaning the crap out of it with Fluoride toothpaste hasn't helped.

 

I'm going to have to go to the dentist about it. Now, luckily I'm still covered by the NHS for free dental, but the dentist that I've always been to before specialises in children and the last time I went he said that he shouldn't really be dealing with my teeth now. So, I'm not dreamed out about going to the dentist, but that I have to go and find a new one. On my own... like some sort of adult :unsure:

 

I'm just scared that they're going to say no, I guess. I've always been a bit worried about stuff like making appointments, for some reason, but I'm really worried about going to have to find a new dentist. I'm gonna go look around town on Tuesday when I've got a free lesson.

I'm at home, all dressed in my tux, waiting for my girlfriend to get here, and find out she might be a little late, so we decide to just meet at the school. I get there, wait around in line for the great march for 10 minutes, and she gets here. >> to the banquet, and the food was actually pretty good. Had a few presentations that were funny, most making fun of the seniors. Now to the dance. IT. WAS. AWESOME. I found a new part of myself I never knew was there. Danced like a demon (thanks romy/everyone who posted in that "I want a girlfriend..." thread :thumbup:), and had a great time with my girlfriend. It was really hot in the gym lol.

 

Post prom. It's raining as we get there, so that probably didn't help what happened. We get there, sign in, look at all of the prizes, walk around, play rock band, watch sumo wrestlers. There is an obstacle course, bungee run, pedestal fighting (whatever), and a few other things. My friend challenges me to the obstacle course, so I do it. We get in, I get to the last one, which is a poorly-designed ladder up to the top. The "rungs" are very slippery, and me being somewhat heavier-than-normal didn't help. I fall the first try, and sprain my ankle. Swelling is immediate. Getting up the ladder is rather hard. I make it, and for the next two hours, my girlfriend and I sit watching the sumo wrestlers. Post prom is supposed to go on till 6, and the time is 2 o'clock. The swelling is pretty bad. She decides that we should just go home to get it looked at, and I reluctantly agree. "*ring ring* can you come pick us up? Thanks."

 

Now for the great part, and I'd like any girl to rate how I did.

 

We get home, her mom is coming to pick her up and will be here in about 30 minutes. We both go into my room, tired, and just lay there for a while not talking.... just enjoying being with each other.

We are both facing each other laying down, and the conversation is as follows, in a barely-above-whispering voice... starting with me.

I spent 4 hours clicking my pen when I was supposed to be doing my university engineering assignment and then went and got hammered. You know, business as usual.

 

Oh, I also invented a new game whilst doing the aforementioned pen clicking. Picture this - football, but on jet-powered rollerskates! I think i'd call it...jetball. I'm not good with names :s

My throat hurts a little bit. When I wake up tomorrow, it will hurt a lot more. This happens often. Today, I woke up at around 4am (no idea why) and couldn't fall back asleep >.> I'm pretty sure it's unrelated to teh lucid dreaming attempt

Prom was pretty fun. Got to a friends house to meet up and took pictures, went to a nice local restaurant to eat (my mom gave me extra monies, so i paid for my girlfriend's dinner LIKE A BOSS). Then we got to prom, there were 3 spots, a nice fancy dance floor, an outside chill spot, and a nightclub type place, which is where we were most of the time. The nightclub place got so hot we set the fire alarm off. [bleep] YEA. The snacks area was pretty legit, there was a chocolate fountain with [cabbage] to dip in it, and a Dippin' Dots stand, which was awesome for cooling off.

 

Also, damn people dance like [bleep]. At one point this chick was on all fours grinding her [wagon] on her guy. Honestly, just go have sex.

Today I got my flights booked to Singapore. And spoke to the guys I'm going with more. Also watched something on brain training and how it doesn't actually work. And just chatted to my friend, and it made me real happy. Oh yeah!!

Yesterday I relinquished all responsibility of my club to a whole new committee, and gave a speech on what has happened over the last year. It made me realise how much I will miss the club when i leave for Singapore.

It's been a really crappy day outside, and I've had a few late nights, so I slept in to about noon, then spent the afternoon playing COD, stumbling, and reading.

Anyway, not much happened today, just chilled around the house. Some lady came by and gave us some awesome cupcakes. They were awesome.

I played trombone in 5th grade. I remember coming home and my cheeks were like... in pain. I'm guessing something in teh brass section

Thats it? Every Thursday we have 3 hour rehearsals, alternating between marching and playing weekly. Marching is playing whilst marching btw. Every normal day is 2 hour rehearsal marching/playing after school. Dont even get me started on band camp. 4 hours of marching practice/teachinf the newbies, 1 hour lunch break, then 3 hours of playing (in sectionals so we're constantly playing as well, no breaks.

Well, today I plan to make use of the day off for ANZAC day, which was yesterday, but seeing as it was a Sunday, they give everyone the Monday off. I plan to use it to finish my Chemistry homework which is due tomorrow. It's annoying, but not really that hard. Just stuff about extracting Copper and Iron from ores. I should get back to it soon, before I waste more time here, on Pokemon or on PS3. (Episodes from Liberty City FTW!)

Im not talking about marching band. That is a killer for me. This is concert band sir. And, I'm not comparing my self to you or anyone else. I was just saying how my last rehearsal was 2 hours and it was a chop buster for me * I am playing about 85% of the time in all of our music combined). Did I say that; "And I know Maleficus1055's band practice is nothing compared to Concord University band practices."? NO i did not. So please don't you dare compare me to you good sir and saying how hard your band practice is.

Band camp sucks in terms of getting a sore face. It was right after summer for me where I hadn't played my trumpet for 3 months, then you play like 7 hours in a day... argh I could barely move my mouth.

I'm determined to make it into marching band this year. Right after state testing I'm taking my sax home to practice everyday. That should prepare me for the 4 random scales, the chromatic scale, and when the give us the audition music, the selected pieces. I'm extremely nervous about the sightreading part of the test but my competition isn't very much this year.

Went to QuadFest this weekend, best time of my life. :cool:

Our school is very small, sop as long as you have at least 4 years of experince we let you in the band. As for me, ive been in band since 5th grade. I played trumpet back then, but then switched to euphonium my freshemen year in high school. Marching band sucked at our high school. We never did any marching so marching band when I went to college was totally different. I prefer concert band however. This semester Ive had to learn minor scales, and have to perform a 'jury' piece for the music department. So yeah...college band is a lot different from high school band in my opinion. Less pratice as a group (we only meet 3 times a week for 50mins)

If anyone cares, this is my jury piece for the semester. Re-place the band with a piano.
