I retain the opinion that <RACE> history/appreciation/whatever <PERIOD OF TIME> just promotes racism.

Just rename American History to White History and World History to European Dominance History and we'll be even. :mrgreen:

worked a wedding as my manager's right hand man. Kinda hectic, kind of off the wall, kind of mopped piss off the girl's bathroom floor, and hooked up a projector so tha the groom could show a surprise movie to his new wife, which made her cry all happy and in love. it was beautiful.

 

Then my co-worker caught the best man getting head from the maid of honor in the bridal suite.

Snowed a good 4-6 inches today so school's cancelled tomorrow until noon.

 

Unfortunately for me, my first class on Mondays starts at 3:35pm.

 

I also work on Mondays starting at 10:30am and I'm not sure if work will be cancelled (school says 'entire campus' is closed). I suppose I'll go on time and study for my Econ midterm if...

I'm kinda worried. My girlfriend's disappeared. Last time I saw her was Thursday night (Monday afternoon as I post this from Australia), and the last time I talked to her was Saturday night. Yesterday she texted me ('I love you', weird for her to just randomly text that) and after that, disappeared from the internet, too. Couldn't text her back as I don't have any credit. I don't know what's going on.

 

EDIT: And just as I post that, she appears and gives the reason I half expected, she was sick. All is go- Well, better than a few moments before.

Which is why I'm on post paid. $34 a month gets me unlimited SMS and MMS, 100MB of data and $70 worth of calls.

Work in eight hours. It's going to be a long day. Played a lot of LOTRO and LoL today with my friends, nothing to exciting.

Played the WoW free trial last night for about an hour. Man that was boring. I know I'll definitely will not be getting into WoW, which is good.

Apparently once you get up to the max level and can do high level raids it's supposed to be really fun, but the problem is you have to get there. And i'm not comfortable with paying for a game I don't enjoy for months just so I can squeeze the little amount of fun out of it when I get to the max level.

And i'm not comfortable with paying for a game I don't enjoy for months just so I can squeeze the little amount of fun out of it when I get to the max level.

In High school Anatomy we dissected a dead cat.

 

And me and my lab partner being the immature people that we were, immature jokes flew around every class period. Not saying they were the same jokes, we thought of new ones every class. I came up with a really awesome joke that we both agreed to save for the day we were done with them, and then we both forgot it.

Never mind the fact that it's been snowing for over 12 straight hours and we have winds of 30 mph+, my University thinks it's safe for students to drive in for class. Both other uni's in town canceled classes today but not mine. AWESOME.

I can vouch for this. WoW is extremely fun when you've reached max level and run with a guild/close friends. Other than that it is what everyone calls it; a grind fest.

I did a worm and a frog in grade school and a baby pig in high school. Anatomy students at my high school did cats as well, but I didn't take the class.

 

On a funny note, my frog was a hermaphrodite.

We dissected a lamb's heart. You could wear the aorta as a ring on your ruby finger.

 

...Yeah, I was being really mature at the time. That whole 'this is a dead baby lamb' thing didn't really hit home.

Something to understand before reading my post: I never have more money than, say $50 in mixed cash and gift cards.

 

Yesterday we celebrated my birthday with my mom's side of the family. $150 cash, because I'm saving up for a bass guitar. I now have more than enough cash to buy it ($250) and I'm completely amazed. So I'll have a bunch of money anyway if/when my dad's side sends me stuff (I sound greedy now :P). Plus I still have $50 worth of Target gift cards... Prolly going to buy some little Lego sets and save the rest for a rainy day.

 

Just waiting on Musician's Friend to get back to me if they'll accept a lower price on the bass pack I want... Then I'll get my mom to order it for me.

 

Didn't have school today, because of snow/ice/rain stuff. And I don't have school on Friday due to conferences either, win.

I've dissected a worm, cat, and pig. Rigor mortis is a bastard to cut through.

All I dissected was a pig fetus.

 

It was awesome.

I've never dissected anything. Chem is where it's at.
