September 7, 201015 yr I regret quitting piano so much. Even more so when I listen to bat out of hell. I also daydream a lot about playing piano and guitar. Maybe I'll start again next year when I have a full time job and can afford lessons. It's probably my only big regret.

Some days I look at my weak pinkies and just sob softly to myself for a few hours. But seriously, it's annoying whenever I hear a great piano piece and wonder if stopping lessons was a bad idea. I'm still working on the same piece I was working on when I quit two years ago.

September 7, 201015 yr I sort of regret taking up the drums and falling in love with them. Something smaller and quieter would be so much easier to practice with without driving my family insane... And probably easier to transport.

And probably easier to transport.Yeah, I missed having a kit to batter around on when Uni was in session as there was no room for any kind of kit in the flat but I got a practice pad for rudiments and stuff which meant I didn't get too rusty. At home though, I'm pretty surprised none of the neighbours have complained, having been subjected to a fair few years worth of practicing and general [bleep]ing about. I know I'd probably have complained about the noise by now. I come home to find out that they lathered my "nachos and cheese" with guacamole and sour cream when I specifically asked them not to. Secret: I have lots of scars on my shoulders from pimples I've popped, which eventually bled, and I always picked the scabs a lot, which caused them to scar.
