Ok, this is going to sound dumb, but...

 

WTF is this? I've been playing RS for about 3 years, but I'm new to Tip.it. What exactly is this? A clan wars thing, or what?

 

 

 

its a clan war, however each site is that people are fighting for are each side to be fighting

 

hence why it says tip.it vs. rc vs rv vs rsc ect.

 

each is a different site, and each will be fighting with their strongest point, most of them like rsc,

 

their strength is in power,

 

ours at tip.it is numbers ;)

 

and although numbers dont always win a war, they sure do help :lol:

 

id like to bring back up that perfect illustration when someone compared it to

 

them - spartans

 

us - persians

 

 

 

so just bring any of your friends who you think might be interested and recruit! :)

That and, players are completely unaware of how the PvP worlds will work (except for the few teasers to the rules jagex has given us). Who knows? The way I read that behind the scenes it sounded like you have to make a totally new account to make a 'pker' to join the PvP worlds.

 

 

 

There are so many unknown factors I would highly suggest sticking to the regular FFA portal. The only major thing I'm concerned about is the capacity of warzones, and FFA hosts as much as the server can hold, so that's fine.

Bsing was happening anyway while the war was going on. The leaders at least did try to kill the traitors. But it was all good fun.

 

 

 

Things to consider:

 

 

 

1.)Pvp comes out before the MSSW4.

 

If this were to happen and we went ahead with the ffa dangerous anyway, in the aftermath the survivors of the MSSW4 could hop to a pvp world.

That would probably happen, but I doubt it'd be endorsed by dustin.

If we choose not to go the ffa route, we have to be prepared by the end of the week to invade the pvp world at any time. At any time--because we don't know when pvp comes out for certain. An announcement posted somewhere on this forum about it would be a good head's up alert.

The MSSW4 has already been delayed once, & I don't think dustin will delay it again. Like Y Guy 4 Life said, the MSSW5 will probably be the one in the PVP Worlds. Of course, I could be wrong a second time.

2.)Pvp comes out shortly after the MSSW4.

 

Rally everyone for a round 2. Hop to f2p pvp world. Swarm it. If there's an attendance of over 500 people we could split it to 5-10 companies and take over certain cities.

How would this news be spread? One could spam it after the MSSW4' date=' but whatever :P

I'm a pessimist, so I don't see this as happening. Convince me otherwise, please.

I believe the MSSW4 will still happen in the dangerous FFA arena.

if you are talking about the clan wars arena, that will limit the war to two clans at a time, with only 100 members each, that is why we wont do it there.

 

 

 

you know, i had another idea about how we could host this thing, and it has several very good points, but i wont bother bringing it up for this one, i dont think we need to reschedule again :P

It's not a clan war. The only clans involved are those that are sided with a particular fan site (and sometimes those who just like to fight). The MSSW is quite unique as a war because it involves all the major runescape fan sites. It is a fan site war, not a clan war.

 

 

 

Over the years the MSSWs have become a really important war for tip.it. To attend it would show your true patriotism as a tip.iter. ;) (And if you want to be even more patriotic, you would use the MSSW4 signature to recruit more people)

 

 

 

And guys... knife man won't be re-scheduling the entire event because one person can't attend. Hundreds of people attend this, and knife man tries very hard to get the MSSWs set at a date and time that appeal to the majority of runescape players. He's not suddenly going to move the event 3 hours later because someone has piano lessons at the time.
