Sure I'll report. I don't get very much of a chance but I will do. Sometimes I won't but if it's something more serious like password scamming then definately.

 

 

 

I got reported by this guy for being a bot because I ignored his constant 'wc lvl' shouts at me then he just kept saying 'omg ur bot' 'omg ur reported now' 'look its a bot' I was just like -.- I don't want to talk to you, I'm trying to train.

I report people for what I got blackmarked for, it's a nasty part of me, and I report people for some of the offensive things that just tick me off (Like a q p/w, and some of the other idiotic insults - my pure is dark skin colored so someone went chocolate boy, I reported him twice to catch Jagex's attention :| ). I don't report people like scammers, they don't annoy me.

For me it realy depends if I can be bothered to report them. Usually unless it's directed at me or friends I will turn the other cheek. But if people deserve it like people who are trolls or flame me I will report them and take my time just so they get what they have had coming. I report the serious things like scamming(pass and item), website advertising(not tip.it or youtube and stuff like it of course), macroing, and bug abuse. I probably left out a few but thats what I remembered. But all in all if it offends me I report it no matter what.

I only report is some one is very offensive towards me/family member or trys to scam me or ask for password ect.

I couldn't report the last person who tried to scam me because I cursed at him. It was starred, but still not the thing I would exactly bring to the attention to Jsgex rule enforcement. Of course I know the other guy definatly couldn't report me. The conversation was:

 

*some guy I don't know pms me*

 

me: Who the [bleep] are you?

 

*some spiel about being repoted and needing information (he wanted my ip address too)*

 

me: Have a nice day and go [bleep] youself.

 

*I add strange person to ignore*

 

 

 

Normally I do report scamers, though I do enjoy cursing at them and they cant report it (since it would show them scamming). Most of what I pay attention to is spam and racist remarks.

 

 

 

Whats the 'qp' everyone keeps talking about and is it different from the qp meaning 'quest points'? Or are you all just reporting people who are asking for quest points?

the qp thing is a man's ding dong... in that chat box they type q p and the a w under it and well it looks like it and it isnt blocked.

ive reported a few people for scamming, staff impersonation, and advertising, but I never report for any of the other ones (although I would for macro-ing if I knew who was)

 

 

 

except this one time some guy was flaming me and cussing at me, and bypassing the censor, so I just put him on my ignore list. but then the next day I deleted him, because I like to have my ignore list empty (don't ask why) and he was still flaming me and stuff...so then I reported him for rule 1...

Only people I report is password scamming.

I report everyone for every rule except my friends.

Depend on situations, most people try to insult others, and depend on severity of it. I know the rules well, and if I spot people breaking them, like major ones, I will report them.

 

 

 

Like the other day, some player would approach me and said, hey there high lvl, if you don't play one day, can I have your account? I just said, go read about rules 6, and hopefully, you are just joking. If they still dont get it, then I will said account sharing and trading is against the rule. If they still persist, then I report them (for the most part, they just go sorry that they didn't know and walk away)

Yep, I only report 2 types of people.

 

 

 

1.) Breaking the rules and think they are not. <-- Arrogant people

 

2.) People that are hurting other players' feeling. I can't tolerate people that act so mean >.<

I report players sometimes. I always report players who are clearly autotyping other websites that are likely to steal passwords, I don't report players for mentioning sites like Tip.It or Google etc. The other reason i report is when people do that qp 'next line' w thing to look like a man's... yeah... It just annoys me seeing countless people spamming that thing over and over.

If they don't bug me, I leave them alone - I don't want to be banned and we all make mistakes. Exceptions go to if I see a large rule break going on (scam/lots of harasment). If someone bugs me, I'll happily report them. After all, that's what rule 16 is for!

Plenty of morons ingame I'd like Jagex to get rid off. So, yeah, I report people. As much as I can.

 

By as much as you can do you mean all the obscure rules like when somebodys talking to their friend and says "oh and also check out my vid on youtube, just search [vid name]"?

I report for advertising websites that are clearly gold-farming, RWT, password scams... Not for fansites, or well known other websites like Google. I always report the aqp/w stuff, and if someone has been annoying me or is clearly avoiding the chat filter (typing one letter per line). And if I ever see anyone impersonating a J-mod (haven't yet), I'd definitely report them.

Yes, I report people (mostly) for advertising websites, scamming and offensive language. Because it's annoying.
