Hanging with friends possibly, probably working on running for T&F and Cross country...Running is ftw for me

To be honest I wouldn't be that different without runescape. I stopped playing for ~8 months and didn't feel any different because I have a social life and play 4 competitive sports on a weekly basis. I'm completing my final year at high school with my lowest mark at 17/20. I've been able to balance everyday life with runescape without compromising other things like school. I generally only play runescape at night after sport/work/socialising and then after homework.

 

 

 

I think it's not the game itself that is the reason for many people's frustration and/or lack of social life etc. it's just ones ability to manage their time responsibly. I'm sure those major 'scappers who dedicate hours and hours to this game, given the opportunity to be able to organise their time to play and have an active and sociable life, would jump at it and still have the same enjoyment from the game. Although the game can be addicting for some, personally I believe incorporating runescape into your life without letting it control you is the key.

I would be already focusing on my schoolwork and going out as such. And I would be concentrating on Lego as its my number hobby. :thumbsup:

Wasting my time on something else, I guess. I'd probably read a bit more. And possibly get a bit more sleep, since I usually play between 11 pm and 1 am to unwind from a long day.

I am in my life and I'm playing Runescape...

 

 

 

I have a full-time management job, and I spend my free-time doing things I enjoy: mostly reading, but I also enjoy writing, watching movies, toying around on the net, talking to my penpals online, and playing Runescape.

 

 

 

I don't think playing this game has taken away anything from my "real" life.

Not so far from where I am now. I'd probably still wouldn't do homework and I'd only learn for tests. I'd probably have a PS3 and CoD4 and I'd waste my time on that.

I'd probably have upgraded my computer and continued to be a Cs:Source player and admin. Likely would have taken over the counterstrike clan I was in from before.

 

 

 

Back story -- I was addicted to CS for 6 years before I gave it up for RS :-D

If I put in all the time I used on RuneScape into something more productive... to put it simply, I'd be happier. :

Probably out looking for a new girlfriend on a friday/saturday night instead of playing runescape.

Well, I only play rs for about 10-15 (20 tops) hrs a week. I've always seen rs as a sort of relaxation. So i play it instead of watching TV or other stuff like that. I might be a bit better in school if i never started playing, but I have the highest average in my class anyways, so I think I'm safe.

Runescape was the main source I learned english (Almost perfect english in only 1 year of playing :)) and that's why I'm in the best class with all my friends and my girlfriend. Also I wouldn't have meeted Tip.it (Ilu all tip.it) and my friends.

If runescape wasn't here i would have got A's for my GCSE result and probably a better life :( :x :shock: -.-

One of three things:

 

 

 

1) Dead

 

I was bored out of my mind and miserable before I started playing. People hated me and I had no chance at a social life because of it. I considered suicide.

 

 

 

2) Very, very, bored.

 

RS is what opened me up to the internet basically. God only knows what I'd be up to without it.

 

 

 

3) Happiest I've ever been

 

This is the least likely since everyone at my school hated me, but I might have found friends outside of school if I went out more. It's a one in a million shot though.

I'd probably be alot dumber. I learned alot of english words thanks to RuneScape. Even the stupidest words in RS help me in RL :

 

 

 

Plus, I'd be so incredibely bored. I'd probably start reading alot more.. which I should be doing for school around this time. Lol.

 

Anyway, RS rocks my socks.

The exact same place I am now, sitting at my computer playing video games, although I'd probably play more sports.

So virtualy no change. Altough ..... I just might have replayed all the RPG's I have until a new one came out (KOTOR I & II, NWN, IWD, BG, even DS I & II and my favorite: Planescape Torment). ...... Hmmm ... Reminds me ...... should get the new NWN

I would have a life. And a girl.

 

It may come as a surprise to some that the one girl I really fancy is the cause for my inability to act as socially as most people.

 

She introduced me to RuneScape - AND Tip.It. She has long quit this game, however.

 

 

 

However, I am quitting RuneScape this year as I head in to 11th grade. I am taking TAFE courses in law and in order to successfully become a prosecuting attorney, I will need to use most of my free time studying, and not playing RuneScape.
