Because oh so many of us have degrees in medicine on these boards, yet alone oh so many of us are even old enough to do a medical degree :|

 

 

 

Go see a doctor, I've shallowed glass by accident before and nothing happened but they were just tiny shards. What will most likely happen anyway is that if it's more of a block piece of glass than a shard your stomach acid will dissolve it to a certain degree so it wont be sharp anymore but more of a ball. If it's a shard, go see a doctor right now as as it passes it through your digestive system it could be cutting the lining of your stomach, intestines etc.

Don't worry, I ask random people on the internet for medical advice too. I can't imagine what kind of boredom could have possessed you to actually eat a piece of glass, but the logical thing to do would be to go and see a doctor. Depending on the size of the piece, it could cause internal bleeding by cutting the lining of your intestines.

Wow, if it kills you, you'd be the first person to die of boredom (sort of...).

Looking at everyone's signature in this thread, I think we may have started a meme :ohnoes:

if the glass gets lodged it will cut your intensitines up or some internal organ. I recomend the docters for this reason. I dobut your stomach is tough enough to digest it.
