Come to think of it, I have eaten several rubbers and half a clear plastic pencilcase over the years, as well as probably enough paper to fold 1000 origami cranes, when I was bored, but never glass. I mean, sheesh.

I once almost choked on some small pieces of aluminum foil, they had been rolled into balls and somehow they ended up in my mouth, I think I only swallowed one though.

how large was this piece of glass? If its the same size of smaller then your fingernail, and fairly thin, its ok. If it's thick, it will be like gum and take ages to dissolve.

The only way it'll get out of your system is by going through completely. Glass wouldn't be corroded even slightly by your Stomach Acid. Glass is one of the least reactive substances in the world after all.
