Fire cape vs Skill cape

Featured Replies

I was thinking... do you think there are more fire capes or skill capes. At first I thought definitely fire but then you can only have 1 fire cape but you can have many different skill capes. When I say this I don't mean someone with 30 fishing skill capes I mean 1 fishing, cooking, prayer etc. What are your views.

Thanks to Kadad06 my cousin who got me hooked on this awesome game.

Some skills are ridicolously easy to train. You can have more than one Fire Cape too.

But, I'll have to go for more Skill Capes than Fire Capes. I see a lot of 100+ who are "Too lazy" to get one, but might have a skill cape.

Give a man a lighter, and he will be warm for a while.

Set a man on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

Another fire cape Vs skill cape thread? :wall:

There is definately more skill capes then there are fire capes. Because the skillers can't get the fire cape, and they make up a large percentage of the skill cape population.

My main only wears defence skill cape and my pure only wears strength cape. My new account wears fire cape because he has no skill capes.

All my main accounts have a fire cape however I prefer the look of skill capes and I'm sure there are alot of people like me who choose skill capes over fire capes. And if there is then it is impossible to tell which one there is more of.

I'd personally prefer to see a skill cape because it just looks oh-so-much better in my opinion. However, if you prefer not being asked to do the emote or looking for a better Defence + Strength bonus, then go for a fire cape.

I'd say there are definitely more skillcapes. Many people I know have many skillcapes but no fire cape.

Never tried getting a Fire Cape, but I really should find the time.

Fire Cape is superior on the defense bonuses, along with the strength bonus. However a Skill Cape (t) provides a higher Prayer bonus which comes in useful when doing things such as Prayer Slayer tasks.

I would definitely say that there are more Skill Cape then Fire just because a Skill Cape shows more accomplishment then Fighting in a cave for 3 hours.

I'd say that there are more skill capes, simply because you can get 99 in a skill by spending a lot of time while a Fire Cape cannot be obtained by spending lots of time without the skills.

me thinks there are more skillcape's,i have 5 skillcape's and don't plan on getting a fire cape ;)

that's easy, skill capes \'

I'd say there are about 100,000 firecapes at most, and that's the number of just the cooking and fletching capes combined. Skill capes.

I'm surprised with the amount of people saying skill capes, but at the same time it does seem more likely.

If you aren't counting multiple fire capes towards the total than I'd say skill capes because you can only get one fire cape but you can get many different skill capes. All of my friends at school who play RuneScape have fire capes including myself and only two of them have skill capes. But within a year we will all easily have skill capes and that will make more skill capes than fire capes within our group.

hey guys are there more rune warhammers or dragon weapons in runescape?

There's probably more fletching and cooking capes than fire capes

Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool

Skillcapes. alot of people are scared of caves and don't know how easy it is...

Skill Capes by far... In an average Runescape session, I see Skill Capes everywhere I look. I can't say the same for Fire Capes.

Definitely highway man capes

Out of curosity, where did the 100k number come from? :?

Yeah, obviously skill capes; they do look much better, but I still want a fire cape. That +4 strength and the completion of my range tanking outfit gives it a big advantage over my (better looking) magic cape.

Well I have two fire capes, no skill capes, and a quest cape. Still, I'll go with skillcapes.

There's cake through here, apparently.

Lol i use my firecape and would still even if i had a useless 99 (fm flecting cooking etc) :-w but when i finally get 99 range i would rather use my ranged cape just because of the effort i put into it (at the moment i wear my firecape over all else because i took 6 jad tries to get it)

id say more skillcapes

Check it out, huge amount of effort has gone into this massive mod!

I wouldn't say its a fair fight. Obveosily theres more skill capes, as theirs almost 30 skills. But theres probably more fire capes then each skill's skill cape. (e.g theres more fires then fletching capes)
