I am somewhat afraid if dying. I am paranoid though, and bring excess food, a house teletab, and other stuff like that.

 

 

 

When I die, I'm like, "dang" and I try to recover my items.

i usally die to inatention, get talking away and don't relise I'm on like 5hp, bam dead. :thumbdown:

 

 

 

Happens less now with a bunyip normally around + higher stats.

 

 

 

Died alot when I first started this account, lost a bit over its short time also.

 

 

 

It's all fun an games.

I just say "god damn it" then go get my stuff back or buy it back.

Dying is a bummer.

I now only ever die in pvp, and i make sure to 1 item like a noob so no one gets anything better than mithril.

last time i died was zammy gws duo with my brother.....i lost 1m of stuff and just laughed it off cuz im such a noob :D

a while back, I was lvl 82 and had 4.3m.

 

 

 

This guy pms me saying "I'll sell you a whip for 2m!!!, price was 2.8m. So i am in edgeville and he tells me to go near the trees. I have all my cash and everything. I trade him and all of a sudden...BRRRRNG BLING BLING BLING BLING BLAAANGGG (ice blitz noise i guess..)

then on 12/02/08, after being idle since 7/29/08 i see my bgs, which i bought for 32m, is now 17m... then i look at it and say... eh, it's only pixels... AND THAT IS HOW EVERYONE SHOULD VIEW THIS GAME...

It's a natural human reaction to loss. Why should we view a game any differently? Pixels are what support my stock, pixels are what make up my bank account, and pixels make up my ten page essay. From you viewpoint, it's the equivalent of losing five of my ten essay pages. It's due tonight at midnight, why wouldn't I be angry? I wouldn't sit there and say, "Ah well, it's only pixels. I'm sure my professor will understand."

I hate dying, and will avoid it at all costs. I 3 piece deep in the wilderness, and wear junk equipment (Adam helm, legs etc.) if training on Green Dragons in the wilderness. I guess I'm just that cheap.

Not usually. Even if I were to die I would just be inconvenienced with having to resupply myself with stuff, which isn't too hard.

Hmm I don't have a problem with the losing the pixels, but I do have a problem with the noobs who get them by ruining my fun...

First, I just thing... I'm an idiot. I usually get the first thing I can find and prod my face with it.

 

 

 

I then dash back for it, and when I don't make it (I haven't died since getting the 500k grave :roll: ) I just think "shoot.. thats (total cost/300k) hours of my life I just waisted.

 

 

 

But back my gear, and carry on slaying. I'm not afraid of dying, no.

Yeah i'm afraid of dying even if i know i'm not gonna lose anything.

 

 

 

Especially afraid when my mouse battery dies whilst waiting for kree to repawn, with no pray on yet.

I don't really take into mind dying as much as I used to. I can go into godwars risking 5m+ solo and it hardly bothers me. One of the reasons is because my internet has never disconnected and I've never been comboed to low HP...

Im VERY afraid :ohnoes:. In my opinion, my fear is generally between the cost of my armour and the amout of money I have to support myself if the case of dieing arrived. If I had 100M and my armour was worth 10M?, I wouldn't have too much to fear since I could easily buy it all back. Since, at present, the cost=amount, I have alot to fear. I need that money for skilling and supplies :|

 

 

 

Also, I'm not a big fan of dieing. If it's on purpose, ie running into the KBD without armour, then thats perfectly fine :lol: . When I die in somewhere like Fremmennik Provience, then it takes me more than 5 minutes to get back up there. Plus... my heartbeat gets too high :?

I'm not sure I don't like dying and avoid it by safing alot but I'm not sure if I'm afraid. The only realy dangerous thing I do is solo GWD and I've died a few times there only losing 400k-600K each time. I am more afraid of losing my items than dying because well you can get back to most places in under 5 minutes and when I GWD it's usually team so I trust someone to bless it giving me enough time to get back. So no I'm not afraid of dying I'm afraid of losing my items.

whenever i die i freak out and run back 2 my grave. for some reason whenever i die i seem 2 lag. but ill get over it in like a day. but when pk andi die i go i panic so to avoid this i 1 item and anceint.

Depends on the location. I can get to almost anywhere in RS within five minutes unless I'm at Barrows or Bosshunting.

 

 

 

Most of the time it's, "Okay...I've got this. Gotta hurry up!"

 

 

 

If I'm at, say, Dagannoth Rex, it's more like, "OH [cabbage] OH [cabbage] HEY CAN ANYONE BLESS MY GRAVE PLEASE OH GOD NO NOT MY GUTHANNNSSS!!! :'("

 

 

 

I don't pvp, so I don't have a pvp-specific reaction. Though, I'd imagine it'd be similar to, "OMG HE CHEATED WTF!" '-'

If I lose valuables, I get this hollow feeling in my stomach & I beat myself up about how I was too stubborn to click the one click teleport while I still had the chance.

In like 5 years, I've lost about 100k from dying. But then, I almost never fight dangerous bosses, so I guess that makes sense.

 

Oh, but I lost connection at the Aberrant Spectres once, and logged in with 2hp. They'd gone unaggressive right when I'd hit 1 or 2hp. And I was wearing my fire cape. Guess I'm just too lucky to die :?

I can't remember the last time I died and actually cared. I don't remember the last time i died in PvM combat tbh....

 

 

 

I've died a couple times while trying Pking in PvP worlds, something I very rarely do, but I expected that anyway since I am not too experienced a pker and was fighting some people who had veng and an ags. (me using dds and whip)

Not afraid of dying but annoyed when it happens unfairly.

 

Was Rune Mining in Wildy and got attacked by a Rev. Not normally a problem but this time something starts lagging me out.

 

By the time the lag clears I'm standing in Lummy. . . .

 

 

 

TBH I think it was the adverts. I noticed a each time a particular bit of animation from an O2 ad that slowed my PC down to a crawl.

I haven't died since I died intentionally to show off my Angel of Death Gravestone in f2p, wich was somewhere around june-july. I fortunately have a good reaction time, so I'm not really afraid. Except now I'm kinda nervous, because I'm going to take on Jad and I'm not sure what to think of it...

Yes, I hate buying back any item I lost. I'm always like [bleep] there goes my cash pile.
