No rollbacks and if they can tell you abused it for your own personal gain you will be banned if there is any doubt on the evidence they have you are fine.

TBH, If I'd known that all the bug abusers would get away with it, I'd have been at GWD in a flash.

Tbh as the bugs were available to everyone and they involved major parts of game play I cant see any banning happening.

This bugs were caused by the fix of the run/food problem. Mod Nexus (apparently) did a quick fix to the code, affecting the rest of the game.

Maybe only HD got the new icons?

I can just imagine the offices now. Paul and Andrew standing on a giant podium in the middle with fire blazing in their eyes calling out orders in demonic voices, and MMG cowering in the corner crying from his first sight of "The Creators" as the employees call them.

Whatever happened and does happen regarding this it's just unbelievable how their quick-fix to a relatively minor bug caused such great chaos for over 30 minutes. I can understand how the run + no eat bug came about due to releasing separate updates at the same time, however to what looks like not even test the fix was a huge mistake.

It'll have a short break when you're actually dropping the ore, I think. At least, that's how it works with woodcutting now.

is it me or like 95% of the ppl have a kalphite task .. usually there is no one there , and now I cant find a free server.

Stupid Jagex ruined Sara for me. And I had just learned how to solo. Like I'm not bored enough. -.-

Grats to all people who took advantage of the bug and thank you Jagex for not doing a rollback. FOr all those complaining about how the lack of a rollback affected your life drastically, get a life and play the game for yourself and don't look at how others got an unfair advantage.

I don't think the bosses were ment for soloing when they thought of them ...

[bleep]ing hell Jagex, that is a lot of money for someone to lose because of a problem you created. :|

Plus Jagex are poor at punishing people abusing bugs and glitches so people will abuse this and will make millions and the rest of us law abiding players will get screwed again.

Annoys me no end that Jagex did nothing to prevent this. It was obviously a massive bug which caused a good number of people not to be able to do what they were doing. From this point they should have given a 3 minute warning and shut down Runescape whilst they fixed it.

 

 

 

Why let it still run? Now people have more of a reason to moan as people have solo'd high level monsters and got decent drops unfairly. This is bug abuse, pure and simple, and the people should be banned. What kind of example is this setting for future bugs? Basically if there a bug, exploit it as much as you can as you have only a 30% chance of being banned. It's ludicrous.

 

 

 

Also why not rollback? Very few people could train efficiently and in the course of 37 minutes would not have gotten that much XP. Anyone who moaned they got a valuable drop and now don't have, would be admitting guilt of bug abuse.

 

 

 

Also this is far worse than the Fally Massacre. That only affected a few players on one World and in a reasonably small area. This affected all players in all Worlds.

 

 

 

Anyway it's not worth losing sleep over but it's just annoying how Jagex are keen to ban SwiftKit and other things which have a positive impact on the game, yet turn a blind eye when people abuse a bug which is totally against the spirit of the game.
