June 9, 200917 yr I don't like to criticise Jagex, but I don't think they handled the situation well at all. They could have easily shut the game down whils they fixed it. What is the worst that could've happened in that time? Someone fails the Fight Caves and some people have to teleport from GWD. Now we have people with GE offers wiped and lent items lost, that totals up to a lot more damage. Just when I thought Jagex was becoming a more user friendly company they screw up in a crisis... I hope they change their mind and do a rollback.

People soloing bosses and getting rare drops without any effort at all, oh well! Lent items not being returned to their owners? GE offers being wiped? It takes a lot for Jagex to truly disappoint me. They've thoroughly succeeded. That is NOT fair whatsoever. This isn't another player screwing these people over, this is Jagex screwing people over. That is SERIOUSLY [bleep]ed up. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

I wonder ... how are G.E. and Agility/Running connected :-k doesnt have to be, the string of code that they entered to fix the running and eating could expose all kind of bugs in the game engine, because they didnt test it, sometimes bugs fix themselves this one was just really unfortunate.

I agree with you though, shut the game down. 37 minutes of downtime would have been far better than this mess. Trust the Gene Genie!

Jagex has not given an official message on the main page about this. 2. They didn't take any action yet, except for fixing the bugs. I'm still waiting for an official statement from Jagex, as I have heard mods say stuff that is quite contradictory. ~Prozac~ RIP my main Xprozaccx. Player's losing lent items is not a confirmed bug, so if you *have* suffered from this you will need to give us more information so we can confirm it. Whilst our policy about returning items doesn't change, we do need to know about this bug if it is real. Currently we have no evidence of this being a genuine bug and could just be players making it up. I apologise for the communication error personally. ~ MMH ~

Lesson of the Day: If you must log in after an update and find out theres glitching going on, then either log out or go hide in some corner of the world (normally I would say POH's but I guess that wasen't an option), like RuneCrafting alters or something. Don't trade, don't bank, don't lend. And don't expect Jagex to roll back 37 minutes of rampant glitching.
