Mmm so I went and counted the existing Treasure Trail rewards. Note that I did not include rewards which could be obtained from any level nor did I include black nails/crossbows.

Totals:

1: 65

2: 56

3: 90

They said there would be 150+ new rewards. Seeing how there's no particular pattern with the existing numbers, I'll take a shot in the dark.

By adding 65 + 56 + 90 + 150 and then dividing by 4 we get 90. Now, obviously, they will add some items to level 3 clues, so I expect the number of exclusive level 4 rewards to be at around 75, giving 25 new rewards to each of the existing levels.

If I got my way and they introduced (T)/(G) Dragon that's (large med plate chain legs skirt sq = 7 x 2) 14 items accounted for, 15 with an Amulet of Fury (T). There would also likely be a Dragon Cane for big pimpin, making 16, and then there's the mentioned (3rd age prayer (4), holy ranger (4), dragon masks (1-2?)) 10 items (because animal masks are level 2 I expect canes to be as well) accounting for around a third of the level 4 rewards. Which of course means there's like 50 we have absolutely no clue on!

There were some platebodies that looked like they had the haraldic patterns on, so maybe 5 haraldic plates for black/addy and rune?

Yes... I hope they don't carry heralding over to dragon to be honest, but they might, if they have dragon at all of course.

 

ALSO with their mentioning of the graphical engine update, and the fact that they might be releasing the heraldic platebodies, I think they may be updating all the "basic" armor (bronze - rune) at the same time. Why would they want to do it twice, after all?

If you need an example of the "updated" version of basic armor, go upstairs in the Wise Old Man's house in Draynor.

On the other hand, new hitsplats in the video?

There seems to be a sword next to it if the damage is done by melee, and a bow if it is done by ranged. Might be quite useful :)

Neither of them work in the engine team. Dont know about you, but I wouldnt want a cook fixing my clogged bathroom drain. :P

How was it failed? Added a whole new tier of clues and a bunch of awesome looking rewards, the god sets help out lots with GWD too.

Yea specially when they said they had 3 skills (dungeoneering being one of them) under development on the official forums about 6-8 months ago.

 

Fact, Jagex mods either; lie a lot, change their mind a lot or forget a lot. Or just a combination of those.

 

Just keep this in mind, never rely on Jagex.

 

 

 

 

Jagex has literally never said they have three skills in development. ESPECIALLY not 6-8 months ago. Stop trying to make up things, if you're trolling you're doing a bad job of it.

 

Maybe take the time of unemployment to improve your research skills.

 

This did mentioned something about 3 skills.

But if I recall rightly it was more along the lines of they had 3 skill concepts on the table when they decided to develop dungeoneering.

Ergo they did not say they were working on 3, they said they had 3 workable ideas. 1 is now in-game. Which leaves at least 2 skill concepts on the table waiting for dev time to be assigned.
