July 28, 200916 yr whats up with the mages, saw some posts about something good for them, but i cant find anything considering magic in the update. In other news... You will now be properly classed as being 'in combat' when you are attacking someone else, even if you've not been attacked back. Also, if you teleport while in combat, you will now lose 20% of your Earning Potential (EP). In other words, magers can farcast in pvp and not be rushed Did I understand it right that this would stop bolting?

July 28, 200916 yr The new weapons look amazing, from what I've seen they are all improvements. I haven't killed any Aquanites yet, but once the crowds die down they might be alright for Slaying. An amulet for rangers is always a bonus. The PvP updates seem to be going down well, kudos to Jagex. I'm not too fussed either way about the new pub, but all in all this week looks like it has been extremely positive. :thumbup:

July 28, 200916 yr This actually seems like a decent update. The drop is good and is priced at the GE very nicely. I imagine they're extremely packed so I won't bother going there. When safespotting, this amulet will be way better than fury. No need for defence and added accuracy will make this a must. If you only look from a PVP point of view, then you are right. I can see these amulets dropping very quickly. Can't get any kills due to my bad internet connection, so not gonna bother with them. Anyone know if duradel assigns them or not? The animations look alright, shame they didn't update more weapons. I haven't looked at the new pub yet.
July 28, 200916 yr ANIMATIONS I love it, they are doing excellent job. I love how they are working on that. So well done on that Jagex. PVP CHANGES This is a good step ahead better pking. Now that you loose EP if you teleport makes it better to get a kill, and you can not Tag kill a player now. So that will maybe make me go pking. Well done for tag team change. NEW SLAYER MONSTER Great amulet drop if your gonna range safespot, but otherwise Fury is best. As for camping the slayer monster and killing it? It's a waste of time. 2-3 hours at Green dragons>1.5M 100%. Camping at Slayer monster>Nothing guaranteed. It's so many players there...

July 28, 200916 yr Not, but if it's easy to kill, it will be a nice task once the crowd dies down(and it will, the amulet is crappy compared to fury)...I still like the new slayer monster...give it a couple of weeks.
