This is certainly a thread that I find interesting.

 

 

 

I don't really have any exact requirements, or rather, and specific list of things that I find attractive: rather, I struggle with finding someone with the right mix of qualities: attractive girls tend to only warrant 2.5 minutes or less of intelligent conversation. Girls that can communicate in a reasonably intelligent fashion for any prolonged period of time are almost always unattractive.

I don't think you can really sum up attraction into definable physical or emotional traits. Like Laikrob said, most people have general negotiable traits that they look for in the opposite sex.

 

 

 

Say for me, I would prefer women with no substance addiction, don't party too hard (I've held way too many exes' hair back over a toilet), and somewhat agreeable on religious/political beliefs. Being able to take care of one's self is also important, but it's very broad.

I think a lot of the attraction toward another person isn't from a list of traits/physical attributes that you can generate at any given time, but from just a feeling that you get when you're with someone. That's why people fall in love with people that they didn't expect to, etc. You can end up falling in love with characteristics that you never even considered or can't put a name to.

Been a while since I did something like this.

 

 

 

Looks-wise:

 

 

 

- Long, light/medium brown hair.

 

- Blue or green eyes.

 

- GLASSES. Usually a big plus.

 

- Not too much on the chest (not completely flat, but not huge either. B is a nice medium).

 

- I don't mind too much about figure, but as long as they aren't a twig or a whale I'm fine with it.

 

- Small feet are quite appealing for some reason. As are small hands.

 

- Short. In the 5' - 5'3" range, preferably.

 

 

 

Personality-wise:

 

 

 

- Quiet, reserved and polite. Last one is big for me. I would date a girl who isn't the first two if she's polite, definitely.

 

- Must respect my love for music. They don't have to even be a music listener, just as long as they don't try and bring down the music I listen to.

 

- Must not want to spend all my money. Another big one seeing as how I hardly ever have any money.

 

- Bonus points if they're a bit geeky. Now I'm not talking Asperger's levels of geekiness, but a little bit is nice.

 

- Ideally she should have some cognitive function. I'm not talking philosophical levels, but holding down a conversation about something interesting is a plus.
