indy500fan
I just finished watching Ice Age 3 with my little brother and sister. It's kind of lame. I mean, it's good for a little kids movie, but aside from that. I plan to watch Cargo (Swedish SF movie) with a friend next time we hang out. Maybe a Firefly show/movie marathon? I've been wanting to do that for a while... It's fun to do the Firefly marathon because if you have a day off you can do it completely in that day. You can also do the movie Serenity and fan documentary Done the Impossible in that same day. All that would total around 14 hours, so you could also read both of the comic mini series Serenity and Serenity: Better Days (official and part of canon, written by Joss Whedon). I have not yet done this, I have done the watch all 14 episodes in one day thing before but I usually leave the movies for the next day. Also I haven't read the comics since I first bought them (they were OK). Awesome, I'd forgotten about the documentary. And it wouldn't be quite 14 hours: they only run 42 mins each without commercials. That's a precious 588 minutes of the best T.V. show ever. 14 episodes (with the pilot being almost double length) + movie + documentary ~= 14 hours. I actually only have a couple IRL friends that would be interested in this, although I'm not sure if we'll be able to do it in one go, since we've never done a marathon anywhere near that long. I'm thinking maybe over two or three days, instead. "Those who give up their liberty for more security neither deserve liberty nor security." OldJoe
The Rebound Good movie, some sort of "feel good" theme. I can very much relate to this movie. The last 10min was a bit weird tho, because all of the sudden the dude was 30 and had adopted some kid. And Zeta Jones looks damn good. How2PK
Just watched two great French films: OSS 117: Cairo, nest of spies OSS 117: Lost in Rio They're both spoofs of spy movies, and possibly the best foreign and spoof movies I've seen That first movie was so funny! I can't wait 'till the second one hits the cinema here in Holland! :) 78. The Ghost Writer (Roman Polanski, 2010) :: 8.079. The Crimson Pirate (Robert Siodmak, 1952) :: 7.080. Peronix
Iron man 2, am I the only one that didn't really care for it? I enjoyed the first one but found this one pretty boring, and don't get me started on some of those jokes.. (I'm keeping an eye on you!) Of course not, as with all movies there are mixed opinions, particularly with this movie I've noticed. User reviews range from 1/10 - 9/10 pretty evenly (not many 10/10s). I personally loved the movie because it just felt so much like what you would get in the comic books. I understand that isn't for everyone, though.

Denith
Yeah, Robin Hood looks like a Kingdom of Heaven/Gladiator rehash, wouldn't mind seeing an alternate/director's cut of the film though. Ridley Scott films are like that. A.I Artifical Intelligence. The ending was strange, but it made a change as to what I usually watch. Oh? Skeptical
Watched Blade, and it was particularly awesome, since I was really hating on Twilight yesterday. Going to watch Avatar (for the second time with my cuz) over the weekend, and probably Shaun of the Dead as well. jimmy_jim
Hot Fuzz was on TV a few nights ago so I watched it again, I still love that movie!I saw Robin Hood..I didn't really enjoy it..It's going to be hard to make a Robin Hood movie better than "Robin Hood: Men in tights" :wink:I also saw "The Haunting" after Das told me about it, great movie, it's in black and white but it is still amazingly done, and I got a bit scared  RIP Michaelangelopolousu can control my tip it account, but youll never control how fine i am!This is by FAR my favorite song: I love N_odie and would never edit his posts! tripsis
Tonight I'm going to watch Zombieland, which I have NOT seen before ;oI actually quite liked it. I recall seeing the trailer months ago and thinking it didn't look great and telling myself I wouldn't watch it. But then it came recommended so I did end up watching it and I was pleasantly surprised :D Last night I watched Hercules and P.S. I Love You. Tonight I watched Princess & The Frog and I'm about to watch Ever After (I think..). - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
How2PK
Robin Hood It was pretty cool. I don't really dig Cadaver Cate, the things that were meant to be funny weren't funny and from time to time the thing didn't really flow well (but that's probably why Ridley always releases three versions of every movie he makes). But still it's nice to see one of those medieval-men-epic movies full with bearderd guys doing nothing else than waving their swords, eating boars with their hands, drinking mead and throwing theirselves on women who are more than willing to share their flesh with them. I like it. Next to that there's so many clumsy and bad things you can laugh about. It's pretty good entertainment. i_love_burritos
I've watched a whole bunch of movies recently, but felt too lazy to post the whole list and my thoughts on them, here. Well, at least for now, I'll do it later. I watched Kill Bill Vol. 1, awesome movie, I didn't really care for the dialogue or what was really going on, it was a friday night and I was just looking to mushify my brain with mindless action. So, Kill Bill sufficed pretty good, and Uma Thurman was looking pretty good aswell. Oh yeah, the yellow suit she wears is exactly like Bruce Lee does in Game of Death [one of my favourite films]. I thought that was interesting.
PoorLepRecon
I saw Robin Hood today, but I was disappointed by it. It was hard to follow in the beginning and it just dragged on and on.
