Seraphyna
I can understand the rewards for the quest proper...cause it's ridiculously easy. However, the rewards for the Odd Old Man's new wishlist are awful. You get more slayer xp from the phoenix and the jade fine and you can do them DAILY. Enchanted ram skull helm or bone sack...can you say useless? You only get one teleport per WEEK and they don't even look different so there's no way to show off that you finished such a challenging list. Pirate_Felix
This quest is such a waste of time. Minimal rewards and low level. Even completing the wish list does not give good rewards. Sure, the initial boost is nice, but considering the time spent, levels required, and the fact that none of the bones are 100% drops, the weekly event gives far too little exp. Really, Jagex, you took a week off for this? On another note, the comment about non-chafing manacles is a joke- the Skeletal Horror has a manacle on one wrist and desires one that does NOT chafe. Oh, hahaha. The confusion that is sowed is SO worth the joke. Go s[racist term] in a corner. Amundogus2
Apparently the Game Guide has been updated now to tell you the rewards, so we don't need to guess. Oh gimme a friggin break! Look Jagex, I love you, but that is nothing short of ridiculous. That is not even worth doing if you don't consider the time it takes to do the wishlist. "There are only two strategies in war. Not every update can give out rewards like WGS or even MEP2, so just chill out when a low-level update comes around. Poppet
Again Jagex makes another step backwords heres a few examples: Dorgesh-Kaan nerf and raising the level to 80 when its better just to pie to Gnome for better xp. The penguin hunter trade in for 2 hunter xp when its better just to drop. Nerfing Bandos Throne Room to only 5 levels of real use..... Really can they come with ANYTHING that is really worth using. -.-
Zaaps1
That xp looks awful they should give us atleast 2.5k xp for each skill. :l It's supposed to be a low level quest so we get a low level reward. The quest is, but the wish-list is not a low level reward. Would low levels be required to kill level 300+ monsters multiple times and have 78 slayer? I don't think so. It should at least be on par with stuff like the Jade Vine. Even Tears of Guthix beats this in xp. ~It's Super Effective! MyWorld77
Wow only 1,250xp slayer & 1,000xp prayer a week? Even Jade Vine gives 2500xp slayer and 1500xp farm, and it's daily. God I hope they don't nerf it! lol. I suppose if you didn't do anything but the little daily games each day, it could add up? Idk though. :) 99 Fletch/Cook/Farm {Started- 11/06}

stonewall337
I did the wish list because I wanted too. The xp is crap though. I was hoping at least for what we got for defeating it the first time. The tele is ok, i guess. Still not really worth killing. Dragonlordjl
I am actually pretty angry at the rewards. 78 slayer isn't easy to get, and you have to either get lucky once each day or solo a boss that is pretty difficult to solo. That's not to mention all the other bones. What a bloody waste.

Outsanity
I'm really interested to see what exp rewards the Skeletal Horror will give each week. If you get 10k Slayer and 7k Prayer exp per week then it's actually a pretty nice bonus. This, on top of penguin points could really help some people train Slayer in a faster way. (Meaning, you take 30 minutes to get 16 penguin points + kill skeletal horror once per week and you'll earn up to 50k exp for doing so.) |2,300+ Total|138 Combat|12 Lvl 99 Skills|99 Slayer|
Grasle
The second list is required for the quest cape right? As far as the above post goes - it's 1250 slayer and 1000 prayer xp a week.
Mercifull
I was really excited when I first saw the rewards, however the excitement turned to dissapointment when I saw how little exp you got each week after the initial kill. If the 10k is broken down into days of the week it would have been equivalent to 1,429 exp a day in slayer. Jade vine is 2,500 xp a day or 1,250 if you alternate it by days growing/kiling. This seems a reasonable number for such a hard task. Killing that many monsters in order to gain the bones required to build it to me seems quite an impressive feat, much more so than completing the jade vine quest. It's unliklely now that I will kill it weekly with such small reward. Shame. Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Mercifull
Bork = 3,500 slayer exp a week ToG = Approx 5-10k a week depending on how many tears you collect Jade vine = 17,500 slayer exp a week / 10,500 farming exp a week. (if you farm and kill it on the same day, half if you grow/kill on alternate days like me) Phoenix = 3,500 slayer exp a week. (7,500 Firemaking exp, 3,000 Fletching exp, and 1,000 Crafting exp a day also) Circus = Up to 17,710 Ranged, 25,006 Magic and 8,800 Agility exp a week Penguins = All depends on level, for me it would be 34k for me on slayer or 30,800 in prayer. Horror = 1,250 Slayer exp / 1,000 Prayer exp a week. When you look as the above you can see why a lot of people have been complaining about the weekly reward from the horror, especially given the difficulty in actually creating it for the first time. Junkmutt
Don't worry anyone, I'm pretty sure that JaGEx will fix this problem of low exp a week. Or possibly include an awesome drop.
