Tesset
What would you say they are? For me, I'd say the five biggest problems are these: 1. Price manipulators 2. The general lack of balance in pvm. The fact that melee owns there, and everything else stinks annoys me. 3. The lack of high level content. 4. The fact that in f2p pvp magic can't get a win at a decent combat level. 5. The wholes in Jagex's quest storylines. My skin is finally getting softI'll scrub until the damn thing comes off

I would point out that ranged is very important for plenty of boss monsters, the most notable of which is obviously Kree'arra, but there's also Tormented Demons, Zilyana, TzTok-Jad, etc. But magic is still garbage in PvM. I can definitely agree about price manipulators. I would add abuse of the PvP system with the "76k" thing. forestfrolic
I love Runescape. As do I. But there are problems. Most of which are caused by the people that play it, and abuse it. All the major problems (that I can think of right now at least) are caused by people messing with the game. Its our (our being the rs players. not specifically the people of this forum, i hope) fault that a lot of things are how they are. Nemo vir est qui mundum non reddat meliorem.. What you stated is basically the limit of Range's efficient use, except for getting Range experience. I mean, I'm not against having things where Melee is better than Range, but it shouldn't be everywhere. I purposely left out 76king. It's not nearly as bad as it was when it was 26king. It might still be bad, but it won't make my top 5 anymore. My skin is finally getting softI'll scrub until the damn thing comes off

JoeDaStudd
1. Lack of Clan/Event support. 2. PvP issues. 3. Expandability they've lost a lot of wiggle room for future updates without switching a lot of the game. 4. Balancing of the game. 5. Whiners, nothing is ever right for them and Jagex seem to listen to them as opposed to the old and more experienced players. iMase
I'd just like to say that for the amount of content that the Runescape community gets for free outweighs the fact that Runescape does have flaws.

It is however true that there is no boss, except rex, against which magic works efficiently. And i agree they should come up with some alternatives... gorgoroth
1. People that complain about the game and how much Jagex fails yet they still play Runescape. 2. Merchanting clans. 3. People who "hate" Merching Clans yet they still join them. I only have 3 things to be honest. The rest are minor and not even worthy of my mention. Btw, the wholes in the quest lines are obvious hints that they are working on sequal quests, or thats what my logic would tell me atleast. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]

Michaael
1. 76king 2. Quest lines that have been forgotten about 3. Content year 4. Price manipulating 5. Lack of armor variety Explanations 1 - Inflation is no good 2 - I've been waiting for elf city forever  3 - Self explanatory 4 - It's not fair for honest players 5 - Every slayer has the same outfit, every Bandos team looks the same. They need to make armor with some variety, not just "the next level" that everyone will sell their Bandos armor for. Mix it up, add set enchantments or bonuses for combining pieces of armor. 5,693rd to 99 Slayer on 10/08/2009

ultimatballr
1.merchant clans 2.76king 3.lack of high level content 4. Skill grinding 5.no clan support ftl How is skill grinding a problem in RS?.. How does it affect you? ------- I think all the problems people have stated will come with time. Things like quest line updates... high level content... comes with time. They just want to put in new things and then update the old. Then come out with newer things and update the "old new" things. Rinse, repeat. Hopefully more things like GWD will come out, I would qualify that as high level content, which I agree has been awhile since high leveled players have seen something. I also agree that Merchanting clans and 76k'ing are a problem big though. The fact that the only thing Jagex has really done was require spells higher than bolt and "Warn" us against joining merchanting clans... both have proved so effective so far. Apparently, my signature was to big. shooterbob7
Thank you for posting this, I thought I was the only one that disliked merch clans. I'd like to point out that merch clans imo have ruined the fun for runescape. From May-July I quit/played very inactively. When I came back I was surprised to find out that many of the prices had risen dramatically. Half of it was due to pking, but its only because pkers really need those items to pk. The other items, skyrockted super high. I was thinking of raising my smithing, but I cant because steel bars rose 200gp, phats also doubled in price(obviously merchers), and many more skilling items like yews and things that are non-cb. Merchers have clearly ruined the ge, and we now have limits because of dang merchers. I really hate merching because it leaves the people that don't do it with limited spending and stuff. Don't you hate how every new item that comes out has to be merched b4 it crashes?(d claws, g mace, ranging ammy)
