September 23, 201213 yr average young person racks up 10,000 hours of gaming by the age of 21 I'm 16 and I have more than 10,000 hours invested in computer and gaming... between my <200 days on runescape. 150 days on wow. Countless hours playing console games and RTS games I probably have played everything total for longer then suomi has been on rs. + even longer if you include the days of hitting F5 on forum sites and social networking.

But if thats all young people not just gamers then that means as gamers our hours on scape aren't too wierd when you think about it.

September 24, 201213 yr I 'only' have about 3.6k hours in RS, which is the only MMO I play, but have probably amassed far over 10k hours in total on various RPGs and console gaming (I'm 19). People often look down on top players, but when you consider the time you spend playing other games, perhaps they are simply more focused. Asmodean <3

September 25, 201213 yr Almostlost about 3 weeks off 200m farm, Paperbag has been pretty inactive past week. Elias got nice new rsn, Suomi hit 100m hunter. Jake passed 50m con and his xp gains have slowed down significantly. 5b xp let's go!
September 25, 201213 yr obviously it is his life and he can do whatever he wants, but why not just finish the achievement? he could be the one and only rs player to ever achieve this and it's only a couple months away. He has 2 very fast skills left and farming will finish in no time. this can very well change rs. you never know what Jagex may have planned for such an accomplishment. To quit so close to the finish line is cheating yourself and you will regret it. Even if you only play half the time, or 25% of the time, it's better than quitting.

September 25, 201213 yr So not hardcore for SUOMI = 14 hours a day instead of 16? :P Seriously though, even playing 2-3 hours a day, he'll still finish 200m xp in all skills before anyone else (probably). And even if he quits completely, he still got way farther than anyone else has so far, so kudos for that. But still, I'd like to see him finish at some point.
September 25, 201213 yr Doesn't really surprise me... Whenever I'm in the final stretch of my goals-- whether in RS or RL, suddenly my motivation/commitment starts to wane
September 25, 201213 yr I understand him saying that he cares less about xp gains now then before but unless his RL situation has changed he might as well finish up 2 months of skilling. Thieving especially is a skill ive seen average players get 200m xp in, its not quite cooking but its definitely not slayer. But then again it is his choice to continue at any rate that suites him

September 25, 201213 yr Gemeos, I don't know if it would add any proper info to your spreadsheet. But have you thought about adding a baseline at the bottom of it. This would be how long it would take from, just turned 99 in all skills, to 200m in all skills?
