on topic: was it even "efficient" for suomi to run to the donators for 15k? because i remember when he asked me for donations, he came to me at lunar. so it takes like 3-4 minutes (go back to previous place etc) so it's like 300k per hr which is quite less

This is why many players saw him as a joke in the past. People didn't take him seriously. He was asking for donation money when flipping was a much faster and efficient way to make money. A number of people will also say that the time spent collecting the donations was too great of an xp loss for it to be efficient.

I don't know about the particular donation he did with you, but back when there was a trade limit and he was doing Agility, he did not waste time for donations. He had a very strict process. You had to send trade request to him as he finished the log obstacle and then you had to run over to the ropes and wait for him to finish his lap. You then had to do max trade really quickly. He made sure his donators went through this strict process to make sure the donation only cost him a mere handful of ticks. If they didn't, he wouldn't even waste his time trying to do the trade. He not only refused to go to someone else to get the donation, but he also refused to waste even a few extra ticks standing still or going off-route to get it. He took Xp waste very seriously. His 20k donation method was estimated at a value of about 14m gp/hr. He did this for hundreds of trades.

 

EDIT: I asked him about this particular trade and he denies ever visiting Lunar Isle before free trade came out. He's not even sure he had done Lunar Diplomacy by then.

it was after freetrade when i donated by him, i just thought he'd do the same as he ever did for recieving donations. because i thought it's kinda more "thankful" or friendly if you go to the person who is gonna give you cash.

Knowing that divination's artisan skill coming out next year will boost most gathering's skills xp/hr and combat is overall around 650kxp/hr, you'd be silly not to do it.

He is still missing some charms for summoning (as sum:slayer ratio now is like 0.5:1). He is doing random crap until divination comes out.

 

Forsberg888 is also already over 1b with over 100m summoning banked.

 

Also Celc has almost 1b xp for the year.

 

 

Anyway with that being said I'm pretty sure God still has the most xp for the year despite the recent issues with Jagex and them making him waste xp by banning him 20 times.

He obviously meant 1 tick hunting, constantly drinking a potion before laying the trap.

make sure you got energy drinks and start the "nolifing" days a bit earlier than 4 days before school start, so you can nolife for longer. ;p

If you win the lottery, all you have to do is get a solid house/stuff you need, buy spins to get a headstart and then live off the interest.

 

I'm excited to see how this race to 99 divination go, it would be cool to see people make youtube series about it, but I guess making vids would cause the computer to lagg unless you got a beast machine, and then you'd get slower xp/hr, maybe in the future. :c

Depending on when div comes out, i will make a yt series on my channel of competing for it. With all you guys here, atleast a few people that post here should be top 100 if not higher. We have efficiency nerds, no lifers, long time skillers. with all that knowledge this could be cool

its all about who will find best training method first , then depends how many h u will play

I think the best training method will be pretty obvious because there doesn't seem to be a lot of variety in the content (compared to construction, hunter, and summoning). It's just a matter of who can go the longest without sleeping.

If you played with legos for that long, you would probably have some amazing building skills. Sounds like a good investment to me!

I'd have to enjoy it a lot for it to be worth it.

Like eating cake - I always enjoy eating cake. Eating cake every day for a year would be a waste though, because it would not be healthy. If I liked cake A LOT more than I do now though, I'd think it would be fat to grow a bit okay.

 

Same goes for rs imo. It wouldn't be enough for me just to enjoy it in the moment (in this case, in the 10 years), if that made me less able to enjoy my life afterwards. That's not me saying that noone would enjoy it enough, and that it'd be a waste for everyone though.
