Teamed
Uhm, what did n0va back then? He went from a lv3 to maxed in less then 2 years, with 2 200m skills, and that was while Cooking was tops 250k/hr, which is 1 of his 200ms (other was fletching) so yeah.. Edit : also keep in mind skills were 2-5x as slow in 2004-2006

But 10 hours back then was more than enough to beat his not-so-hard competition (if he even had any).

Well Zez started in 01 and got beaten by N0va in summer 06 I think and thats while N0va started in like November 2004.Also, averaging a load of hours per day doesn't matter, the result does. I can play for 19 hours a day and average 1k xp/hr if I wanted to.Also: N0va did 200M fletch with Yew longs, .. :) LOL 1500-2000 HOURS OF FLETCHING

langer
Yep long gone are the days of Uloveme and Lilyuffie when females were at the top!I'm friends with Lily, she still plays and is maxing dung but I don't think she is trying for all 200m. I think her goal is still 200m prayer. She was the queen in the era of DIY. I still think very highly of her. langer
Do it yourself. In classic, trading was a mess with certificates. Do it yourself was a pretty wise way to train. Well, basically irl merching costs alot of attention/price knowledge already, so if I would merch on here aswell I'd probably fail on 1 of the 2 because of overloading my schedule. I know flip merching is supposingly easy? But yeah, you still need to learn it and try it out etc which I don't have the time for, sadly. Besides that, I also kinda like it this way because imo I now get a real 'sense of accomplishment'. Not meant as a bragging way, but I'm quite proud of myself to achieve stuff like rank 1 summon with limited amounts of cash and other circumstances :P. I guess you could say it makes me satisfied? I think all top players try to achieve that feeling ---> some see it as gaining huge amount of wealth, others think they'll get it by getting more and more skills to 200m. Idk if they'll ever achieve that feeling but I hope they do of course :D And yes I still train for more 200m's, but the main reason now is to just entertain people and show them what humans are capable of doing. The world could sure use some good things to be amazed about and yeah, that's just my view of life I guess hehe. I'm talking about questions like whats the purpose to live etc now, so we really shouldn't be getting into that on a all 200m skills thread lol! Hmm what about Villandra, if you consider all her her accounts? Villandra pretty much quit rs as far as I know, I think she's only back now cos someone gave her an idea for a fun new way to get 99 slayer on an account. Even then, she could only really be considered 'on top' if you're looking at the slayer skill (it does seem like a disproportionate number of the top slayers are female but maybe that's just me). It's a rare form of sinusitis + previous surgery failed due to a poor diagnose, only making it worse. Had to wait till laser surgery (age 18+), but requirments have to be met first. XDYou play 10+ hours/(every) day but merching on RS would be overloading your schedule and you don't have time for that. Also, merching in RS would take away a 'sense of accomplishment', where in rl you say you do merch. Oh well... Good luck on your goals nontheles!
Drumgun
Well, I don't feel that sense of accomplishment irl yet nope! Lol :P but yeah, it's mainly just a solution to still make money since I'm unable to do most jobs. I don't really have much of a choice, hehe. Unlike on rs, irl merching requires alot more attention due to many auctions that you have to follow/research that you have to do, and of course there still needs to be time for other fun stuff. Ty Tim :) and that's right Teamed, the migraines are very rare when I'm only inside though, but it's allergies and stress/physical effort that set them off - hence not able to do much. Hard to get rid of too, so yeah it's a real pain to have. http://www.youtube.com/user/DeskDrumGun?feature=mhee My Yt chan, still under construction :)
