Slayer!

It's begging to have a whole lovely storyline set to it. Duradel still left us with such a hanging, saying how many people he had stomped on his way to Master rank, how many enemies he made...

It would just be wonderful.

it was a though vote for me but i went with sumoning (herb and ajility running close behind), truth is most of them should get a guild and i cant really vote for one <_<

also really woodcuting and firemakeing should be one guild.

as for a slayer guild, well isent that the point of slayer dungeons?

anyway, sumoning becouse other methods of geting charms besides combat would probably be involved (a form of activity where you can spend the points of charms?) not faster just well difrent, and hopefully it would have a bank closeish by an obby.

hopefully will have the option to get some of the untradeable seconds from there two.

makeing it sound as though i want it too easy :shame:

edit: darn no one has posted when i started riteing this.

I'm a Brony and proud of it!

Slayer, of course.

It's been a long time coming, even though we have received some great updates lately. <3:

I hope a new guild, no matter which skill it ends up being, is a bit more useful than the Thieving one. I hate to see areas go active for a week (update time, woot rush!) and then die because it has no real use.

You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic. It's a nice attempt at argument, but your responses are facile and asinine, if not diatribe. Who's arrogant now?

'Definitely Farming or Slayer, in my opinion. :D

There's so much potential in these two, and either guild would be great so long as it's thought out properly. However, I was disappointed with the Thieves' Guild (and with most of the other guilds, now that I think about it), so I probably wouldn't have high hopes for any new guilds in the first place, though. It's a shame, especially since the concept of "guilds" greatly interests me.

I voted woodcutting, but I thing it would be better to have a "wood arts" guild, incorperating woodcutting, fletching, firemaking and Construction. Maybe even include farming, seeing as you can grow trees.

It might be a cool thing to get to start, you have to plant the trees in the guild, build a fence of logs around the guild, build buildings of wood in the guild etc. Could be a quest, or minigame, or something.

edit to Aeil below: Never played it. I've just always thought that these skills naturally clustered together and would form a good guild, and it's within a players skills to build it.

Sounds like that quest in the bloodmoon expansion for morrowind :P

A Farming guild could be made interesting, so I chose that.

Yes, that sig was annoying.

I don't know why people are picking slayer....

Jagex's attempt at that was kuradal's cave. So they practically have it, i dought they'd consider trying for another 'slayer guild'.

I'd like a farming or smithing guild.

Smithing could do with something fun involved. And farming could do with some further activities/patches.

Alot of players will be annoyed at me for saying this but there should not be a Slayer guild. Slayer is part of combat, just like how Dungeoneering bases it's meaning on other skills. If you have a good argument to convince me that a Slayer guild should be created, well go ahead. My argument is poor, but i don't see why a Slayer guild should exist.

Farming guild sounds great. Summoning is the second on my list. After seeing Astea Frostweb, i realized the potential of Summoning.

A prayer guild revamp, the current one can't really be called 'guild'.

And Kuradal's dungeon is nearly a slayer guild as they said. It's just different than the other guilds so they didn't name it slayer guild.

I have many ideas for a firemaking guild but only like 1% of the players would be able to handle it. :D

Agility: what is under the pub in burthrope again?

Farming: doesn't make much sense, it's just another farm? this skill isn't based around doing anything, rather waiting for stuff to grow while you do other things.

Firemaking: skill could need it. multiple log-fires, actually constructing your own fires logwise, plenty of opportunities.

Fletching: this skill already has a lot of content, how will it replace a bank?

Herblore: how will this replace a bank? there are opportunities for "new mixes" etc. but barbarian training covers most of it.

Hunter: hunter areas are pretty much "guild-style" areas in terms of player density already.

Slayer: slayer dungeon /tower and kuradel's dungeon combine to form this guild.

Smithing: read blast furnace.

Summoning: doesn't make much sense, expecially considering tower of life south of ardy.

Woodcutting: ivy, and lumberyard are already guild-like areas.

Other: dungeoneering is the skill in need of most new content. I cannot for the life of me understand why this is not a poll option. other option: improving the useless guilds we have already. look at the prayer guild, crafting guild, etc. etc.

Hmm, having a woodcutting guild would be nice. There's already mining and fishing guilds, why not woodcutting?

Oh, and the runecrafting guild needs quite a bit of a revamp. It can't just be based off of one minigame.

''The nature guild'', a combination of woodcutting / herblore / farming perhaps. Some potential for a ''new degree of guilds''.

I myself voted for farming. Farming is limited to the patches and a guild could .. add to the value of it. Perhaps a place to use all those watermelons / sweetcorn / strawberries and more? Currently they have little ACTUAL use. Neither of these items are widely used. Fruit fight pit anyone?

ok thanks, now bbq goodbye :)

even tho i love slayer, i said herblore.* i think it could be interesting, and it hasnt been suggested to death. and smithing already has the b last furnace, what more do you need than that?

*they pretty much said kuradal was slayer guild, but it didn't feel like a guild, so they didn't call it that.
