the way he worded it made it seem like he got it first to me. If it's his second weapon, then yea that makes perfect sense, because now he's got the best of both ends for melee weapons.

 

of course i have rapier lol, for slayer (points at 8m+ dung xp)

300k tokens atm, hoenstly have no idea what to spend tokens on so im saving till batch 2(maul and rapier makes ls useless), maybe ill be lucky and theylll have some item that costs 1m tokens thats pretty decent (doesnt have to be a weapon, can be something usefull in general), id pay 1m tokens to acess the gatestone spell outside of dung =]

Dark beasts have average defence and rapier + turmoil/piety + extremes hits extremely accurately on them (even whip is very effective against them).

I just wish the rapier looked nicer. :sad: But anyway, idk what I'm gonna get yet. I don't plan on stopping training dungeon after I get 80. But, I was doing f34 5:5 large tonight, and I got a Shadow Silk Hood! At level 71 dungeon, on what is probably like the 10th spider I have seen. So idk how lucky that is, but I think it is pretty lucky, considering I got it, out of the 4 ppl on the pile trying to. Now I kind of feel like I have to continue training dungeon, just cause I have the hood, so might as well use it. w/e, I'm happy.

Im in like page 20, but i think you still think that Chaotic Maul>C. Rapier in tds.

 

This is not true as:

 

1) C. Rapier may hit 290 and 270, so u get 2 hits and not 1 in very little time. Besides, the maul will fail in some point (i mean in hit)

2)TDs are weak to stab, check this link if not: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Tormented_demon under pic in "weakness"

 

 

3) In the matter of CR vs CLS, IMO is like comparing D long and D scimy, i might be wrong, but i trully think so.

This is a 51 Page debate about weapons that can ALL be bought... Why not get what you prefer first, for instance a Rapier, then get the LS/M/S/CB whatever, after? 2M EXP isn't hard to get at around LVL80-85.

Yea there is, Wikia is never EVER wrong, cause if it is, another player changes it. And since i did WGS and TDs, they were weak to stab. How about this Both cls and rapier has thier perks

 

Cls: bosses

Rapier:Slayer, Sgw, Training

 

Cls=underpowered one handed godsword that is a bit faster w/o spec

Rapier=Whip jacked up on steriods that can stab

Maul=Weaker ags spec every hit

Because that is not only almost completely wrong, but its also a totally illogical way of looking at it. CR isn't a "Jacked up version of whip", since they use different attack styles as their main option (stab vs slash)

 

CLS is faster then GS, and will under most circumstances, possibly all, out power and preform it.

 

CR is almost always better then CLS, even for bosses, unless you aren't using defender (And if you aren't soloing or tanking, you should be using a defender, or at least have one with you.)

 

Maul may not max as high as AGS can, but it will still outperform the GS for pure DPS, even including the 2 specs/minute the AGS has. If anything, the maul has more KO potential, as it more consistently hits higher then a GS will.

 

And sir arma, I EDIT the RS wiki, partially because there are SOO many errors.

 

(Remembers when balmung was said to have +133 str...)

omg, that must have been the day after release ir a typo, as i said, anyone can change it, so typos are posible. Besides, theres nothing better than wikia, well besides tip.it. U cant compare wikia with zybez or rrunehq. (wikia is way better)

Im saying that wikia is never wrong, and when it is, players correct it. Its a "wiki", wikipedia also have typos, but you still know that they will be corrected. For example, Balmung isnt 133 str now, is it?
