I want to stick around long enough to see this game go to hell, mostly out of curiosity, that's pretty much the only thing keeping me from quitting.

I'm also mildly addicted.

Hot man of the Trickster Pirates.

Nice update.

I'll have to play more.

At least they got stats that match the levels for the armour this time.

Canceled 3 months ago .. and I still come to see the new updates ... you don't have to pay to watch them burn in hell o.O

Tbh I was planning on quiting a while ago, and the game honestly hasn't gotten better. I can't think of the last time I was excited for new content, and I haven't done any of the most recent quests.

So, uh, what happens if you run to get back in the mini-game and close the interface? It better be something that you can't close unless you hit the "close" button and then choose "yes I want to close this."

Which would be annoying, but not as annoying as, say, running to the bank after a C Wars game and seeing the interface pop up for half a second.

I have a bull[cabbage] theory: the drops are actually quite common, it's just the interface takes a long time to load - every player who the game has tried to give the interface to wandered off to do something else, closing the interface, before it appeared.

Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.
[spoiler=The rest of my sig. You know you wanna see it.]

my difinition of noob is i dont like u, either u are better then me or u are worst them me

Buying spins make you a bad person...don't do it. It's like buying nukes for North Korea.

Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame:

your article was the equivalent of a circumcized porcupine

The only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it.

I thought this too. Why they thought a click interruptible interface was a good idea in the first place is beyond me.

Also, I really don't know which threads they are but multiple J-Mods have posted stating that if your inventory is full and you get the reward window you won't receive the item and you'll miss your chance. The same thing goes for if you accidentally close it.

So are there no new rewards for mini-games that actually need more traffic, like the games room, or Trouble Brewing?

Pretty much this.

Imo the best part is the titan now occasionally using magic as a 'normal' attack.

In castlewars ive been stacking the delay demage with a x4 attack scroll for some amazing hits (magic hits >200 easily)

If ever an update made me want to return to Runescape and start paying this would be it. Finally I could play the best parts of Runescape (minigames) without having to grind hours on the boring parts for gear to make me competitive in them. It's like going back to 2006 all over again, being able to Cw and Cw only, pure fun. Finally those who are best at minigames and actually play them for fun can compete with those who just have millions of Gp to spend and throw away at gear allowing them to win by brute force. I really am tempted to come back to the game now.

Actually, it's not the people who are good at the minigames, it's the people who play them a lot. There's a difference. Considering that Toad doesn't have the full sets yet, we can safely assume nobody human will for the next few days.

Tormented demon drops: twenty effigies, nine pairs of claws, two dragon armour slices and one elite clue | Dagannoth king drops: two dragon hatchets, two elite clues, one archer ring and one warrior ring

Glacor drops: four pairs of ragefire boots, one pair of steadfast boots, six effigies, two hundred lots of Armadyl shards, three elite clues | Nex split: Torva boots | Kalphite King split: off-hand drygore mace

30/30 Shattered Heart statues completed | 16/16 Court Cases completed | 25/25 Choc Chimp Ices delivered | 500/500 Vyrewatch burned | 584/584 tasks completed | 4000/4000 chompies hunted

I have to wonder how this little gem slipped through testing, if you would see while testing that no other teleportation spells work in the way that the trollheim tele spell works. Surely that would have set off some alarms. Yet because players are looking at it from their typical standpoint (gaining exp), it's widely known about and being considered bug abuse. Yet that's all off to me...Stun spells that were rapid-clicked or charge spells that were rapid clicked...Elements being used (for a long time, in some cases) the way a player would normally approach the game. Teleport spells were always done for training, too, regardless if they were good methods. So how can the casual player look at this and go "oh my better not do that, that's bug abuse!" when gaining mass quantities of EXP for ridiculous amounts of money (zombie implings, anyone?) isn't exactly unheard of? And yet they plan to treat anyone using this 'bug' as bug abusing.

I'm...a little confused.

What is this "testing" you speak of?

Unlike most people, I see that as a good thing. Except for utter completionists, it will only be those who fully enjoy the minigames who attain the sets. It isn't whether people are good at a minigame or not, it's whether they enjoy it and actually want to play it, not just throw money at it, they will finally be able to compete again.

It is what drove me out of the game and removed my subscription, the fact I was forced to do something I disliked to do something I liked. When gear overrules equipment, the game becomes incredibly frustrating for many people.

To quote myself on June 18th this year:

High level gear ruined Castle wars. God wars started the slow death of cw, Pk gear, dung and the plethora of other things have all added to it.

The reason is that back then, the best gear a player could have for CW was well under 20m, with the possibility to still be very competetive with gear under 5, even possibly gear under 1m. This meant people could play Cw and nothing else, making the communities for around the Cw worlds. Now however, to be competitive you need to do non-cw money making and training just to cw. This has lead to many things:

- People not hanging around at cw as often forming communities

- New players rising up due to them just popping in and having competitive gear already

- People not devoting their entire banks to cw meaning they take it less seriously but play as often, meaning warring and playing was for fun

The last point, people playing for fun is what ruined full outs. When crashing was done with malicious intent causing flame wars they just became too much hastle. Before this, crasher were tolerated, and crashers just had fun. They were rarely rude and were often there to help friends, not to crash for crashing.

You have to be good at Fight Pits in order to get one of the pieces, you can only get the drop if you win.

By 'being good at Fight Pits' do you by chance mean 'being lucky'?

Or you could just have a friend let you win over and over.

Nope.avi

I dont think this gear will be the turning point to combat the mess Castle Wars has become thanks to these OP abilities and the wealthy destroying it. Which is a shame since CW is one of the main reasons I still play.

So, you have to win for it though :P

In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
