Did anyone else notice that RS3 uses the same colour scheme as Tip.it?

Even Jagex knows what the best RS fansite is. :D

THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P.

So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...

My theory is that if the Gods do change about each week, then we may be able to get a Zaros Vs. Zammy situation on the battlefield...

Which would be what the Zarosians are waiting for.

Which is why I joined Zammy, so that if he wins and Zaros comes into the ring then we'll get a beautiful right hook straight into Zammy's face.

One thing I'm annoyed with is having no proper choice. We went through the God Emmisary stuff for what? Any true Zarosian would just let Zammy and Sara duke it out and wait a bit really - C.F. TWW.

But anyways Drazzandara! You turncoat! I will be searching for you on the battlefield my Mahjarraty friend! How dare you betray our Lord by siding with his enemy!

Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.

Remember you can create tabbed interfaces (reminiscent of EOC/Old School) by simply dragging one UI interface on top of another. It's a great way to avoid the "pop-up" look on your overall interface.

That said, I can't figure out how to reactivate my ability bar on my resizeable UI. The RS3 default to Custom UI fix isn't working...

Figured I'd do this as It's not all that hard to do and it may help out the lazy people out who don't want to learn it :)

Why is my multipler x2? How can I get it back to x5 or higher?

I've been killing these things for hours now. I've no idea when the multiplier fell...

I guess I've been lucky. So far I've found the Infernal Bowstaff and Greathammer Head. Too bad they each require 1000 of the special metal, and those are also abysmally slow to collect.

Multiplier falls as you collect more, to limit the amount you can collect per day. Should reset at 12 bst

Multiplier decreases as you get closer and closer to your cap of tears for the day.

The cosmetic overrides seem to be Infernal and Icyenic Greathammers, Orbs, and Bows.

Thanks. Really wish I'd known/realized earlier though...

So it should reset with ports?

Hunter, you get them from drops. I've also got ~160 of the silver metal pieces, but like I said you need 1000 for each weapon -.-

I'm having trouble getting credit for the kills - each NPC is always tagged by the time I pummel them with spells and whatnot.

Things I would like to see, but I know I never will/will wait a while:

The ability to assign the function keys to a tab cluster rather than the menu bar - vital for quick switching on smaller monitors that can't "afford" to have all the separate windows spaced out for easier licking

The ability to make the menu bar and ability bar vertical instead of horizontal (GOD [bleep]ING DAMN ITSDFDSJFDSAJAGSDJGJDJAG)

Bank transparency independent of HUD transparency OR shadow boxes for item slots similar to the backpack interface

Clicking off of the bank interface to exit&move again (JESUS CHRISTAJSGREKWADSFGADSGKARSDAGA) or ESC to close the bank interface

Local Chat: Hide to mimic Public Chat: Hide setting (I'm a moron.)

When title bars are set to minimize when locked, have them snap to the nearest edges and ACTUALLY make the window smaller (aka the whole reason why people asked for minimized title barSDFSFKSFGKGWAKFASDKJGSAJSJGSAAGAGSW)

Click through transparent windows like chatbox and torn-away screens (OBGEDSGDGASEFGAGASrsaDSAgJAFSDJFSJ)

Really everything can be adjusted to with time, but I'm really absolutely livid that we can no longer change through things quickly with the function keys. The action bar can only fit so much when a good ability rotation already fills up over half of the available slots. The Quick inventory helps, but the quick switching would help more.

As for the Battle of Lumbridge, the opening cutscene was neat...and then I saw they're just standing their shooting laser beams out of their frikin heads hands. Even if they were doing that for a week, that's pretty...weird. A battle of fierce deities and they're depending on humans to recharge their powercells, just staring longingly at each other over power beams in the meantime... Even on the battlefield, it doesn't really feel like a battle. The presence of two gods, large enough to be seen from almost the other end of Misthalin, and we've still got people in Ardougne calmly pilfering sweets from the stalls. >__>

Don't get me wrong. The music is great, the cutscene was great, the events are spaced out long enough for everyone to get a chance at them, it's structured well, but it's not without its share of oddities. This seems like the sort of event that will be AWESOME to read about afterwards, but annoying to get through. I admire that during the downtime, you have opportunities to unlock rewards. I enjoy the fact that the battle is having an impact on Lumbridge and the NPCs around it are responding to it. (C'mon Duke, you only have 160k saved for a freaking emergency? I made 160k today buying chocolate. Step up your game.) I am delighted by the fact that we're going to have some hard choices to make down the line. I loved that when I first surveyed the battlefield, ScapeMelancholy was playing softly in the background as I saw the area I first started in demolished by a frightful struggle.

So yeah, those are my first impressions.

Really wish Buffs/Debuffs were resizeable or better able to be placed so they wouldn't end up in odd locations.

Yeah... It appears they removed the ability to straight out "tag" an NPC (without attacking). Or else I simply can't find it...

God damn it, I spent the past few hours fiddling with it so I didn't look like an ass when I finally posted and I still miss something.

Mine:

(Not shown on the pictures: the buffs are at the top of the screen, right next to the ability bar.)

See it's this that doesn't fill me with the greatest of hope for the appearance of Zaros... I want so much for there to be the titanic struggle you'd expect from Zaros kicking the absolute daylights out of Zamorak. I have it in my head that like Zaros will throw him and destroy areas and such, or take it to the wildy and just battle it out there. But thinking of what you just said just makes me think:

"Zammy will try shooting him, Zaros will just use his emptiness to avoid it and they'll sit and wait for a week".

The other thing that annoys me is where are the Zamorakian Mahjarrat or even K'ril (and for Sara - Zil)? Surely out of all of the people they'd be there first... The leaders/generals/inner circle. Their buddy/deity that they worship utterly has just awoken, they can FEEL his power, yet they're more than likely all still chilling plotting how to get their own personal enemies - insert Enakhra and Akthanakos/Zilyana and K'ril etc. There's none of the immediacy, the gravity of situation that there was with TWW, with Mahjarrat and GWD general alike rushing to the battlefield in order to speak/defeat/imprison Guthix.
