I'm missing 'the powerful' title only atm; hoping it'll turn up sometime in the next 3-4 weeks.

If I get to week 9 and lack it I may camp bol for a day or two to slaughter.

We've got ourselves some new animals. :p

I can't seem to find the corpses in the mausoleum, or the Necromancer there must have already made them into an undead army.

Also, on the Duke, today we can vote what we want to do with the last remaining coins, so I wonder what kind of options we will get the next two weeks... I also wonder what Saradomin and Zamorak would do with funds of 5K, you can't even get armour to equip one soldier for that price. The duke should focus on his people, instead of intervening in the battle...

Me behave? Seriously? As a child I saw Tarzan almost naked, Cinderella arrived home from a party after midnight, Pinocchio told lies, Aladin was a thief, Batman drove over 200 miles an hour, Snow White lived in a house with seven men, Popeye smoked a pipe and had tattoos, Pac man ran around to digital music while eating pills that enhanced his performance, and Shaggy and Scooby were mystery solving hippies who always had the munchies. The fault is not mine! if you had this childhood and loved it put this in your signature!

No it isn't? The winning option is "Inter the bodies in the Catacombs.".

The new vote is about spare change - basically we can send 5000 gp aid to Saradomin, Zamorak, equal to both or use it for Lumbridge. I voted Lumbridge.

the last choice will probably affect the future state of lumbridge way after the actual defense of lumbridge happens, kind of like fallout new vegas alters the fate of towns based on who wins at the end and which side those towns were allied with

also, can i say that, with seeing two prideleaders and champions out on the field at the same time, that the zammy side made the dumbest choice in the history of choices in this war

i'd expect this from maybe bandos, but...

On my screen it highlighted mass grave as the winning choice, unless I'm utterly derping on what colours etc. mean what.

To be honest, it can be confusing, I kept getting it wrong at the start too.

When you look at the previous winning vote, your choice is the only one not greyed out, but the winning choice has a blue border around it.

The Catacombs one was the winner last week.

Green text is what you selected last week, bordered one is what won.

Also, some info on the new guys:

1. The Butcher is melee only, while the Prideleader is both melee and ranged (reverse situation of Champions). Like Centaurs, Multiple Prideleaders can spawn, although I cannot remember if I have seen more than 2 at a time. I think I did.

2. The Prideleader has a perculiar behaviour in that it sometimes follow the AI for centaur instead (IE they do not range you, they melee you). Whether that's intentional is anyone's guess.

3. The AoE stun of the Prideleader do NOT affect the player in any way. It seems to only affect NPCs.

4. The guys have 85k LP, and drop x3 amount tears compared to soldiers (IE approximately the LP of 18 soldiers). LP seems to scale with level of the person that tagged it.

5. Anyone who damages the Prideleader gets tears, like JMods.

6. They yield absolutely no experience whatsoever, even if you were the one that tagged it.

7. They are immune to both stuns and roots.

8. There are people who really enjoy berserking the Prideleaders with Divine Fury on.

Not these are only applicable until next update. I don't have any info on Butcher due to the fact that I am on Zamorak side.

Only two Champions are suppose to be on the battlefield at a time now but I swear I saw 3 last time. What's up with that?

I'm not sure if this got picked up on (briefly checked this thread, can't find anything) but: RuneScape 3 attracts over 300,000 new players (Eurogamer.net)

Looks like fairly lazy journalism, to be fair. 220m player accounts--bolded for emphasis--since 2001 is a laughable figure given how much botting has historically taken place in RuneScape.

Unless of course you use the commonly accepted meaning where by 'player accounts' simply means an account for playing of the game opposed to a forum account or a shopping account or a bank account or a utilities account or a business account, rather than assuming it to be an adjective description of the accounts owner.

Exactly. Hence using the term "player" is farcical, when you can't guarantee the term even refers to real people playing the game.

I've no doubt 220 million accounts have been created; I doubt very much that anywhere near 220 million accounts have been opened for benign, legitimate purposes, and the same skepticism should be given to the 300,000 figure. When Jagex can't differentiate between a bot and a human being before releasing clearly misleading and inaccurate figures about player numbers, it becomes even more important to challenge taken-for-granted assumptions, which the journalist failed to do.

Eurogamer.net

Lol.

Sorry, I must be mistaken.

I thought this was a forum, not the comments section on 9gag.

They wouldn't. We all make up white lies to make ourselves seem more attractive / intelligent / powerful / sexy. Companies are no different. Isn't journalism meant to investigate the facts from the bullshit?

In any case, that's not the point being made, is it?

Most journalism I am aware of (at least in my home country) do that, but they post the bullship part and leave the facts part at home.

So I can't actually get the HTML5 Beta to load, at all. I just get a never ending load screen.

So the general RS population's recklessness resulted in less bonus XP's for everyone allround?

PS I knew I forgot something, forgot to vote last week :(
