so this puts plates at 1.65m ea (helms best value), laquer at 590k ea (helms best value) and chi at 625k ea (helms best value). Expecting a nerf within 24 hr tbh.

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

Don't think it's a bug. Just an over sight from Jagex. It's been deliberately changed to these death values, it's not the players exploiting something random and unintentional in game.

 

EDIT: Yep, expecting a nerf. But god only knows when that'll be.

Also this is clearly a ploy to get everyone to get rid of their ports armor so they must use nex.

Ran a test and all superior scrimshaws are 600k flat price when dropped on death.

Can also add to confirm of death prices, which are scaled to the % of degredation of armour from what we can tell, so if you are going to do it, fix it first. Do not know where they are going to stand on "it's a bug you're all triple banned" vs "oh ye it's a bug like daggs was a "bug"" (aka we just [bleep]ed up bigtime).

 

It is bonkers gp either way. Inflationscape and all that nonsense.

    Currently got my ports set up to hunt plates, but i had an adventurer re-rolls, when i logged in have a duo adventurer mission for laquer, sne thtme off and rerolled my adventurers and i got a double adventurer voyage for chi.... I want plates!!

     

    I have got the statues set up so i have 2 for whaler and 1 for biologist which should give me the best chance for double plate voyage but they seem rare compare to the other 2 trade goods... =(

     

    I'm currently hunting plates so i can keep dying in wildy for moneh!(before they fix it at least..)

    Guys, i'm pretty sure the ports dropping on death has been hotpatched, a friend of mine just tried tetsu superior legs and only got 1.2m, so don't do it :P

    Wow. Just in case anyone didn't realize, those superior prices were very, very close to nex prices of equivalent slot/class. I'm sure that was the thinking when they were set to those. Not entirely sure why they would set those prices then hotfix them. Nothing J does seems to make sense...

    They would have hotfixed because people were taking advantage of the drop value, and just ditching their armour in favour of the gp. They want people to use superior armour, they intended for GP to come from PoP from tradeable armours, not superior.
