I have half of the required lacquer for full super DL..My raftking is only 87, and I have zero DL scrolls.

Do trade goods have a cap on them? I have nearly 150 spices... And no scroll nor cooking lvl to use them

Alright, O great masters of Port: Suggestions on crew?

jiC6Zzw.jpg

I have 5 captains: 1 Combat, 1 Morale, 2 Seafaring 1 Speed. The speed is just a place holder until I find another 10k captain, because there was about a 3 week period where I literally did not get a single 10k captain that wasn't a speed captain so I was like... whatever. I also stick a jade merchant on every single voyage... I seriously am smacking myself over the head now for not using Merchants for like the first 4 regions... :o

I also just noticed I only have 4 moral cats, so I will buy another one. Just emptied my resources upgrading the max workshop.

Also: Port Armour for POP expansion.. Do you guys have any thoughts on this? More Scrimshaws? Hybrid Armor? T85 Weapons?

I'd honestly love some T85 Weapons - though I can afford Drygore, Ascen Bows, and Seismics, I cannot afford Drygore and Ascen Bows and Seismics at once. I like the idea of skiller friendly stuff like this. Pop is such a great update. And... I'm rambling now, so yeah.

I have all the 99s, and have been playing since 2001. Comped 4/30/15

My Araxxi Kills: 459::Araxxi Drops(KC):

Araxxi Hilts: 4x Eye (14/126/149/459), Web - (100) Fang (193)

Araxxi Legs Completed: 5 ---Top (69/206/234/292/361), Middle (163/176/278/343/395), Bottom (135/256/350/359/397)
Boss Pets: Supreme - 848 KC

I think the used crew setup is 5 of each normal crew, 3 merchants, 3 JoD and 4 Oxhead.

As for captains, one of each skill, all of them having +4% in that skill as traits. Then two extra seafaring with one having +4% morale and one with +4% combat.

The captains will be a pain but the normal crews shouldn't be a problem.

That's what I'm aiming for atleast.

You can very easily swap a tiger rider for another jade merchant in case you get lucky with voyage rolls (has happened to me enough to make me happy that I have 4 of them).

In other news....

Got that done today. Now to finish off runecrafting so that I can speed up getting the next 156 chi globes.

Yeah!

Don't have 90 Crafting/Runecrafting, though...

Race you to 90 rc. I'm currently 200 k from 88.

I've got to get 93 cooking first because I'm sitting at 247/250 spice...

No@@@@

Lol not being 99 Cooking

I like being a noob. I should be going from 90 to 93 today though. Provided that my family doesn't decide that we're having a family spend quality time together night.

I think we'll get something like t85 tank weapons, weapons with t80 damage and t90 accuracy - super useful!

But really, I think it won't be weapons and it will be like ports armour: okay, good even if tanking at Vorago, but worse than equal-tier power armour (virtually) everywhere.

As much as it would crazy devalue Nex, I'd love some t85 offensive armor :D

That wouldn't be too bad IMO.

You'd be able to accurately hit everything, it's just that your DPS would be lower.

Still better than current Lv. 80 weapons.

It shouldn't give t85 offensive armor, should instead give other t85 pieces we're missing, like shields

Because shields are so widely used and needed.

The Ports update should be power armor or it'll more than likely be useless.

It shouldn't be made into power armor. There needs to be high lvl tank armor and power armor..

Nex is T80 power armor..

Maybe not replace the tank pop armor outright, but perhaps give an option to be able to convert such pop armor into power armor.

Right now we have power armor and not-power armor. If we want real tank armor, it needs to be "Holy crap...WOW, this armor is magnificent" good. It has to make your life so much easier at bosses that using power armor isn't worth the hassle for tanks. It needs something like damage reduction without any ridiculous prayer drain, and it needs to work on all attacks. It needs to be there for you when power armor would see you dead.

Edit: Kind of a rant, but I agree. We already have Nex sets for power, and there are many ways to make tank armor useful.

From the empty days of hope, deny the darkness
Follow my voice, we'll run far away from here

If only to hide, to escape this life
And live forever, forever in the sun
