August 16, 200718 yr Being German, I recently decided to make a "German Noob" character (his name is Alguin) to play only on the German F2P-server. Found out that the most popular scam there is the armour-trimming-scam... very original. But the funniest moments yet I had while runecrafting. The following conversations were originally in German. [Me (Alguin) at the essence mine, minig ess] Newb: How do you make runes? Alguin: Do you still have the air talisman from the rune mysteries quest? Newb: No... Newb: But I got a body talisman. Alguin: Ok... Newb: How do you make runes? Alguin: [i happily explain, since IÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâôm usually nice to newbs (!), the whole process of making runes: the different tallys and altars, how to locate them and so on. My newb now starts getting a noob, not listening to what IÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâôm saying and constantly interrupting me with his mantra "How do you craft runes?") Noob: How do you craft runes? Alguin: ThatÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâôs what I just told you. Alguin: If you didnÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâôt get it or forgot something, look it up in the manual. Noob: Which manual? Alguin: :shock: :uhh: #-o [leaves essence mine] This guy took me about 10 minutes standing there explaining, he didnÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâôt get anything and never looked into the manual... A few minutes later, IÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâôm at the air altar and meet another runecrafting noob. Noob: How do you make runes? Alguin: Have you done rune mysteries quest? Noob: Yes. And I have ess. Alguin: Ok. You got the talisman with you? Noob: Yes. Alguin: K, use it with the ruins, and you get to the altar. Noob: It does not work. Alguin: Which kind of talisman do you have? [should`ve asked him earlier...] Noob: Fire. Alguin: You need an air talisman here, the one you get from the quest. Noob: I dropped it. Alguin: #-o Noob: [trades, puts up fire tally and 12 ess and accepts] Alguin: [accepts] Noob: Here, have my stuff. [runs off] Alguin: :?: :-k :-w Sorry for the long post, hope you found it funny.

I was cutting willows in draynor, and a lvl 39 was saying: Lvl39: What color is my number 39? Lvl39: Someone tell me which color is my number 39!!! Me: Well, it depends, if a low lvl sees it will be red or orange... I see it green cuz im a higher lvl than u... (im lvl 67) Lvl39: 1k for the one who tells me which color is my number 39!!!! Me: (to see if he really did) its green... He seemed to ignore me... and i nevr got the 1k!!! :roll: Anyways... Minutes later(maybe secs) A tree spirit attacked me... i had to fight with my mith axe, cuz the dragon isnt allowed. So, obviously i was going to die, but i waited to see how much damage i could do, just fun... I finally ran to bank, and the lvl 39 was following me.. things went like this: Lvl39: u were going to die!!! Me: yup, *was* Lvl39: I was going to have ur rune stuff!!! I remember when I was lvl 50 that a lvl 90 guy had a red h'ween mask, and everybody (including me) told him told him: "nice dmed!" he started explaining that it wasn't a dmed and nobody believed him. :oops: Oh, and now i'm lvl 76 :o .

Man, I love that game, I think I'll log on shortly. My Druid in bear form only has a few hundred health though. =P Cowards can't block Warriors.
