Dragonwizerd
When you cast High lvl alchemy, you're not turning it into gold, you're really casting telother item and sending it to the bank in a fraction of a second. The bank in turn telothers you some money problem solved... did I mention that the bankers are WALRUSES??! Yayyyyyy...
Adventurer
All the alchemy in the world does a magical mini-nuclear fusion thing to release small amounts of energy that are stored in RuneCrafting altars and Elemental Obelisks to be transferred into essences and orbs. The rest of the matter is then used for: Recreating bodies for every 'Scaper that dies so that they can spawn. Rebuilding trees and putting ores back into rocks. mininpure
isnt it obvious? as soon as you high alch, the bank note sends out a signal to the muffin man. He flies over and shoots you with a tranquilizer dart. As you are unconscius, he gets some banana slices and puts it in your pocket. Thats why gp tastes so good :P quoted from gibsocam:i think they will keep coming up with skills until they get to sleeping skill or something. (you can now use a rune pillow!) EugenyG
Personally I think this is what will happen: Jagex will revert the option of alching notes (the way it used to be a while ago), BUT at the same time add option of Alch X. Meaning people could autoalch in groups of say 10, but when out of inventory will need to get more stuff from bank. Of course we'd have another huge riot if that happens  Live free or die. First option is exhausted, so guess what remains?

spooferfish
Well if your an alcher you probably alch your items noted. Well those notes are a piece of paper that can be given to the bank in return for the item printed one the note. Well when we alch the note, that piece of paper is gone, and the bank still has all the items. What do they do with all these items. Recently i've made around 3k maple long bows and banked them. Took out notes which means i've left about 3k maple longs bows in the bank. What are they going to do with 3k maple long bows now that I ahve money and the notes are gone forever? Bankers have an "alch all" option. Next time you bank, they take care of the problem and alch the bows.

The Observer
I think it just turns into gold. Afterall it says, "Turns an item into more gold." Either that or the Sandwich Lady comes up and and blows it up with her baguette then you are left with the little pieces of yellow paper that look like gold. Platinum_Myr
What many people don't understand is that after you alch an item a imp tactical combat group runs into the bank and steals it... they got this whole gig going for these items... the bank thinks that the items dissapper and the player get cash from paper... simple! course the imps now have about 321,231,562,123,353,687,543,x10^99K yew longbows but cmon who wouldn't want that many? Actually, the imps only have 2.1bill... after that, they kept adding to the stack but the items really DID disappear : Maxed since Sunday, January 9th, 2014Completionist since Wednesday, June 4th, 2014
Lemurian
H'sac, the god of economics, makes his underlings transform the Note into the corresponding thing just before the spell affects it. VurtualRuler98
Banks must be magic, cause how else is a one of a kind quest item going to end up at ANY bank in the game at any time you want it? Notes must be stackable versions of the items, turned into notes by magic of course! And since they are still the item, they become the right amount of gold! brunokiller
The notes get stolen by the underground group 'PtC', 'Protect the Cabbages. They use the sharp edges of the notes to cut the OoC. When OoC members die they sometimes drop gold and that's what the PtC puts in your inventory. Didn't ya know that? My blog
Dormado
Thsi makes no sense! JagEX is crazy! Alchemy is a science which has 3 purposes: 1: turn not pure metals (mostly lead) into gold 2. Make elixir of life 3. Make Homunkulus (extra strong unnatural beeing which looks liek a child) And how teh heck can you use a spell to turn PAPER to GOLD. dwfgwre45453rth743 That makes abu[bleep]ely no sense at all.423 23th453 gh546 mm.....cookies The clock is ticking, and your time is running out, mortals. That came to my mind also around these talks =D> I say it just goes to someones bank who has not logged in since the first day rs came out. :-$ Imagine someone logs in and he looks in the bank.
