me4391
Me4391 I had a question concerning barrows. I've heard from many people that the salve amulet gives you the bonus. Is this true? It would seem correct since salve amulet gives the bonus when fighting undead (and the barrow brothers are undead). 03-Dec-2006 04:22 Mod Leaper Greetings Me4391, Thank you for contacting RuneScape Customer Support about the barrows brothers. I can tell you that the bonus does indeed work with the barrows brothers. So you can look forward to your bonus when fighting the barrows brothers! Good luck in your future quests around the world of Runescape. Yours Sincerely Mod Leaper 04-Dec-2006 07:40 I didn't think it worked, but apparently it does  "I used to act dumb. Robert_Rdam
Yep it does, I querried Jagex a long time ago about it. But I don't think it will help with range/mage but for melee it does. :D Credits to Skully Sc for the signature.

Jard_Y_Dooku
Try this: Use whip on something until you find your max. Use salve amulet on something until you find your max. Go to barrows with salve amulet. If you hit something higher than your max without amulet, it works. And make sure you're wearing all the same equipment. Never trust anyone. You are always alone, and betrayal is inevitable.Nothing is safe from the jaws of the decompiler.

mindthrower
it definitely works. I dont' have hard data, but i hit more often and had a higher max hit. I'm certain. (I used it with veracs.) edit: as a basis for comparison, I wore a glory amulet and verac'ed the brothers. Then I discovered the salve amulet and found it worked much better. McGuff1
Guess it wouldn't have helped me in the past because I mostly used Magic and Range. Will try it when I go back using Verac's.
