OnTopic: I had this happen once. It was for Fairy Tale I. To get the enchanted seuchers (spelling?) I needed edible seaweed. No one had it. I finally went to kill rock crabs, and I found someone who had it and bought it. And headbands, no one ever buys them. White mystic looks cool, but I don't have the skills or money to get it.

I got so desperate on mine that I sold to a shop! Nobody buys them, and because the chance of somebody wanting to buy them is so low nobody sells them for the people that DO want to buy them.

Runes. You can go to World 2, try the official forums, but there are so many sellers

 

 

 

for Death and Chaos runes, and relatively few buyers, so if you want to maky any profit

 

 

 

at all off your runes you're going to have a time. Usually I give the people a large

 

 

 

discount so I can sell them, go back to Barrows and get more, instead of waiting around

 

 

 

for hours to get a decent price. Runes are extremely frustrating to sell, and definitely

 

 

 

the hardest thing to Merch. Grrr ..

Totally off topic here, but I have a pair of White Mystic Boots (I noticed people on this thread have trouble with this item) sitting in my bank that I have absolutely no need for. I'll sell them to anyone, just send me a message and I'll contact you ingame next time I log on.

When I was trying to buy Red Topaz Gems for Legends Quest(rofl i didn't knew you could mine them in Shilo) and spent 3 hours in Camelot, Falador, Varrock, Castle Wars...basically anywhere I see a crowd. If I was selling stuff like Guthix Page 3 I, from a 2 hour selling session experience, will just sell them extremely cheaply or to the general store -.- .

I remember trying to get a bronze spear from tribesman for a quest quite a while ago, then it said 'you have been poisoned!'... then I died from the 13ish poison because I forgot to bring a teleport >_< <-- Long time ago but I was really mad at loosing some rune, forgot which pieces it was.

I walk past the Dharok sellers (got a trade request for some reason) and trade someone selling for 8.5. I put up my money and he offers: Guthans helm, platebody, plateksirt, war- Hey, that's one very odd warspear... *Declines* "No leaf-bladed spears please. 10 minutes and countless leaf-bladed spear offers later I finally found a seller.

I had to get this for the Fairytale Part 1 quest. When i got it, i clicked on it to give to the guy and I ate it. Then I went back and asked if anybody had one or got one to donate me it, they all said OK. After a while, I get bored, and say offering a full load of lobbies for one. Then a noob finishes his kill and suddenly "gets" one.

Anyone selling for way below the market price like that is almost certainly a scammer. I got that the other day; someone selling for 8.7, I tried him out knowing what he probally was, and sure enough spear pointing to the right. Then I finally just said 'buying full guthans 9.5' and got a legit trade.
