and about how you cant afford it, thats a lazy excuse. If you can afford a computer and pay a monthly bill for internet you can afford 5 dollars a month. And if by some reason you couldnt i could think of lots of things that could earn you 5 dollars a month even if you werent old enough for a real job...

I definately agree to this which i mostly don't agree to f2p things but they need something for mage and thats a fact

so u know theres like 1 million members so im assuming there a lot more than that in f2p...

Something like green dragonhide would be nice, but no more spells are really needed. It's not that mage is under powered, but that if you do get hit, there's little added on to your current defence to make certain places to train worth it.

F2P is not a demo. I'm sick of all of the member noobs who think this :evil: . P2P is only a way to support Jagex in return for more stuff to play with (and we also pay with ads). Anyway, I support this idea :thumbsup: . F2P mages are seriously underpowered and need to have better robes.

Yea, you cut and paste it because, in reality, you just have nothing important or intellectual to say.

 

 

 

Free play is not a demo, it's the game. Members is an enhanced version of the game. And as for how f2p was originally intended, when Andrew Gower first created Runescape, he never intended the game to grow as much as it did. Even so, he never foresaw even the inclusion of members until the need to funds was right in his face. So if anything, the entirety of p2p isn't as intended.

 

 

 

Your second argument makes just as little sense and makes you sound just as self righteous and immature. Ok, we can't give f2p better mage robes. Because clearly that'll ruin the point of becoming a member for better weapons, better armor, better fish, better training spots, better skills, better potions, better clothes, more quests, more map area, less bots, less immature scammers, minigames, the achievement diaries, more rune mining spots, better monsters, and forum usage. Anything I missed? Feel free to mention it.

I support! I remember I always wear my zombie trousers on with zombie gloves, and I want the mage bonus! Only 25, what can you do with it?

err thats precisely the reason for this thread isnt it? o.O magic is supposed to own melee in the combat triangle and it does but ONLY in members which is why f2p needs btr mage equipment to balance out the combat triangle. one rune scim has more attack bonus than all the mage equip put together and ppl say its balanced :-w

What's it worth killing a mage in f2p? Next to nothing, you get runes and maybe some food. The p2p equivalent is a 1-itemer with a dds. Annoying and painful, but not really worth the fight. I don't like it the way you suggested it, but if Jagex could improve f2p mage without overpowering it, and give them some gear that was worth something, then I'd be all for it.
