January 30, 200719 yr jagex answered it We are currently experiencing technical problems with some of our core systems. This is caused by an internet routing issue at one of our main facilities. It means some players will be unable to login to the game, and it is also affecting other systems like the friendlist, and some parts of our website. We have contacted our ISP and are working on fixing this ASAP. We apologize for the inconvenience. To the affected players - your accounts are fine, and will start working again as soon as we can get the routing issue resolved. Even on my death bed, I'll bare-hand that bloody shark.

January 30, 200719 yr jagex response is a lie. next month the are releasing an update to undo unwanted levels. basically you can't just go "back to zero" you have to "train back to zero" its true... i work for jagex. i mean.. my uncles brothers former roommate does. :^o I skill.
