While browsing the forums, I found a topic from 3 years ago discussing if anyone will be able to max out in total XP (200M in each skill). I read all of the replies, and back in 2006, I had the same mindset.



Well, since then, a lot has changed and skills are easier. I'm just curious; do people think that it's still somewhat impossible for one person to achieve?

A13d's Last Milestone Update (p.720) - 13/Nov/11

Players with the most skills over 50M XP (With Suomi's recent achievement of 50M Crafting, he has tied Duffy for the most skills over 50M+ XP and should pass him once he achieves 50M Runecrafting unless Duffy decides to all of a sudden rush 50M Mining. They both are roughly 6M XP off but it will be hard to keep up with Suomi's 3M rc/week pace. Elvis is on the brink of 50M Smithing for his 20th 50M+ stat, and Alkan reached 50M Summoning and Fishing a while back, but is now inactive on his main account. Dapledo is very close to Attack, Defence, and Ranged but is not training any of those at the moment):

Players with the most skills over 100M XP (Jake got 100M (and now 200M) Prayer a while back for his 15th 100M stat. Jd also got 100M Attack for his 14th stat over 100M as did Elvis with Strength for his 13th. Dapledo should reach 100M Mining for his 13th shortly):

Players with the most skills over 200M XP (Jake has now achieved 200M Prayer and more recently 200M Fletching for his 13th and 14th 200M skills, respectively. Suomi has also reached 200M Prayer, Herblore, and Slayer since this chart was last updated. As I said in the top 15 update, Suomi will reach 200M Ranged shortly for his 14th 200M stat, tying Jake for the title "King of 200M's." It is unpredictable in donationscape as to how long Jake will retain his title as it all depends on if he aquires the money to rush a buyable or not. Suomi will co-share the title with him once he gets Ranged, but it is really up to which stat each respective player chooses to make their 15th 200M):

A bit slower week for Elvis, some fishing and farming with a bit of xp in some other skills too.

Elias has put himself into hunter, getting 5.7m hunter xp throughout the week with only farming being the only other skill he got any serious xp.

Drumgun continues in his crafting bonanza getting 25m crafting xp this week pretty linearly through the week.

Kingduffy has been smithing the whole week, nearly getting to the 100m xp mark, otherwise the only significant xp was the usual farming xp gains.

Paperbag seems to be doing farming full time, with some magic gains, probably while he waits for the farm ticks. He's about 1 week off 200m farming atm.

As already mentioned, Pope got up another rank to rank 13 with pretty big prayer xp gain in which he passed 50m mark (18.) and combat gains, which got him to 200m constitution (4.)

14. Green098: 2.315B (+3.9m xp)
Another week of slayer and combat for Green, which didn't get her enough xp to hold the rank 13 total xp and rank 10 overall, both of which she lost to Pope712.

15. Kngkyle: 2.306B (+11m xp)
Kngkyle got to 200m woodcutting (6.) this week which he followed with some ranged gains. He is getting closer and closer to getting back to rank 14, being only 9m xp behind Green now.

This week, Paulrat3 has got quite a lot of xp in prayer and fletching and could contend with Da Broman1 for the entry into top 15. On the other hand, Dapledo got practically no experience this week. Hope he hasn't quit.

No, it's not impossible. Just not easy. Slayer, Runecrafting, Mining and Agility probably being the only "tough" ones. The buyables costing around 13B Gp, I think? I'm sure someone will do it.

The Pace that Gerjaars is going through Slayer atm is insane and i think he will max melees and slayer within the next 6-8 Months. Then he will most likely have 200M summoning XP banked after he decides to max mage. So with all that he is like halfway to maxing all skills?

Yeah he's right. A lot of us have no lifed and may still be doing it, but you can only keep it up for so long. Take a look at Zezima. A lot of people I know barely play anymore, including myself.

I'll doubt he'd max Slayer that quickly; it's still pretty slow. Toony001 has only 115M Slayer XP with enough charms for about 105M+ Summoning, provided he has the money for all of the supplies, so I'm guessing 200M Slayer will basically bring in 200M Summoning.

Well, back then, everyone thought N0va or Zez would get it, but they've quit since then. I'm wondering how far Gert will get before he's replaced.

I highly doubt 6-8 months.... He still has 167M exp to go, and is averaging 1-1.5M slayer exp a week, or 4-6M a month. Thats 2-3.5 years for slayer/melees alone.

It will take a lot of time before that will happen, due to RC and some other skills slowing down the pace a lot. Slayer is relatively fast, as you can max all melees/ranged basically too and summoning while doing it. It won't happen before 3-5 years, as no one even has 200M RC yet.

Don't forget that there's gonna be new skills no matter what, so that should slow them down a lot as well.

Won't happen. I doubt Jagex has the capability to make RuneScape last another 5-7 years. If so, then I also doubt the player will still be motivated to get 200m in each and every skill

The really rough part is getting 200m in skills like Mining, Agility and RCing. I mean look how long it took Lover Romeo to get 200m in Agility and Mining. Yet still, the hardest part of doing this is not quitting as the years pass by   .

Don't think Jagex will make another skill like Construction was made. If you check the skills added in RS2, they all aren't that fast, might be buyable, but still take a long time to get. And if you take a look at the economy, I think it will be similar to Summoning. A mixture of buyable and a non-buyable skill. As well some money going away from the economy ( large amounts of spirit shards bought for Summoning for example).

Why so? RuneScape is still a growing game and that's what made Jagex popular and so successful as a gaming company. If it gets Jagex money, I don't think they will close it down so fast.

Highly doubt it, they made sure and double sure that hunter and summoning wasn't totally buyable but yet still a money drain. I'm sure that the next skill that comes out will also have precautions to keep it safe from people with a lot of gp in their pockets and buying out the whole skill in a week. And the only reason construction is buyable is because it was meant to be a money drain.



Anyway, if there were players to get 200m in everything it'd have to be someone who is working on or has already completed 200m in some of the harder skills. And since slayer still has no 200m reachers and isn't very close, it will still be a VERY long time bfore we see someone closing in on the goal. And with new skills pumped out every other year, it just makes everything harder. Who knows how slow it will be to train the newest skill?

Well, it may be slow, but you might be able to train several skills at once while doing it; I'm sure Zarfot can think of a way to do something with it.
