Latest entry by Demoli,
That's right folks, Zelda isn't the only big Franchise to celebrate it's 25th Anniversary this year. Today, the Metroid Franchise is officially 25 years old. Ever since then, Metroid has revolutionized the basic sidescrolling shooter experienced by implementing exploration as a main feature, unlike other games it dropped you into an empty world without any guidence where you had to find your own way through.
My first experience with the Metroid Franchise was Metroid Fusion, which was the default Demo game at GBA stations, and even after playing only 15 minutes of that game I was hooked. Later that year I managed to find a copy of that game (really rare in Portugal somehow) and was blown away by it's fusion of exploration and clever puzzles. Ever since then I pursued every single metroid game, having played them all apart from Hunters. It is a series unlike any other and I can only look forward to the next entry in the series.
From the original, to the 2D masterpiece of Super, to the revolution of Prime, ending in the sidestep of Team Ninja, Metroid has always been an excellent series without a single game being classified as "bad".

My favourite moments of the series are a mix of the regular and the not so heard of. My nº1 moment is, without a doubt, the moment you discovered Adam was the computer in Metroid Fusion, mostly because you were never expecting to hear the famous phrase coming otu of the hal-like PC. The sacrifice of teh baby is the second spot, with all the other ones being from the prime series. The entrance to Phendrana drifts was pretty awesome, as was the Prime battle. The first encounter with Dark Samus in Echoes was also prety intense, and to this date i still think the Light suit is the best suit yet. Prime 3 had the most share of increadible moments: The fight down the shaft with Ridley, working with other hunters, every single bounty hunter fight (Rundas was particulary memorable, if not for the music), the bombing of the pirate's homeworld and finally, Phaaze and the final battle with Dark Samus and the Aurora's. Good stuff there.
And so I ask, what are your thoughts about this long lasting series, and what are your favourite moments?
And here I end this entry, Happy Birthday Metroid, Happy birthday Samus, Here's hoping for another 25 strong years!

My blog on trying to rach 85 mining in f2p
Latest entry by lnfernuus,
I always wanted to make a runescape blog on tipit detailing some of the experiences in-game. I nearly did so when I went for 100 dungeoneering, in the end I was just too lazy. But now, with the summer I have some time to kill.
When I started runescape, mining was my favourite skill, there was just something awesome about getting stuff out of the ground and using it to make weapons/armour and lots of other stuff. However in f2p at least, mining just becomes the largest click and grind fest of any game I've played. Add to that the inevitable confrontation over spot crashers and competition, I soon lost interest. But some of that love of mining remains. As I have played for quite a few years now, I think I have experienced nearly every major type of gameplay f2p runescape has to offer. Except of course rune mining  , so here it is, the push to 85 mining.I guess the first thing is to post a pic of my current stats:
I am approx. 1.3mil xp away from my target. I plan to reach 85 mining over 3 months. Sounds like alot but I don't play for very often each day. My plan is to do 14k-15k xp a day, which should take around 20/30mins and that is the maximum non-stop clicking I can take . I will be mining iron ore obviously. The spot I use is in the dwarven mines in front of the resource dungeon. I like to bank the ores to use later for smithing. Bots aren't much of a problem for iron mining as I react faster than they are programmed to do in almost every case. I generally use W61 or any Uk servers. -

WAR RECAP
Couple days ago we went and set up a fight against RR for today. We were pumped for this fight with all the amount of trash talking from their members, so our sign-ups were looking great. We came to this fight out-numbered, but left with the victory. At first I was like, should I just hand over the win to them and not start anything? But then I realized why should I do that when all they do is talk crap. I got up my high technology and found out that not only we dominated the fight in the K/D ratio, we also had more opts then them due to all the randoms they had in their pile (while we had none - proof is all the way down below). We never dropped below 90 opts while peaking at only 41-45 during the whole fight while they peaked at 48-51. We did amazing, our styles were perfect, spams were great, and we went transition city through their fall ins the whole fight. We had randomers sniping us through some of the fight, but that didn't matter much because we were in the zone and kept banging them the whole time. Overall, it was a clean enjoyable fight and hope to do some mroe in the future.
Thanks to Silv Le and friends for the mini ac lol.
WAR START:
Downfall Starting: 117 opts
Rune Raider Starting: 135 opts
WAR ENDING:
Downfall Ending: 123 opts

As you see, no randoms....
Rune Raider Ending: 123 (this is immediate) minus 7 randoms

+ iluvkarolin
+ metrostar100
The level 18 and the 101 is pretty obvious that they're not in your clan, so lets look at the rest of the randoms:
(18:28:39) <Everton> [18:23] <%Everton> !clan karatekungen
(18:28:39) <Everton> [18:23] -[OH]RuneScript- *** [ CLAN ]: Karatekungen is in Hell Army Unit and Resurrected Forces. | URL: http://runehead.com/clans/search.php?search=karatekungen
(18:28:39) <Everton> [18:23] <%Everton> !clan sgt frank1
(18:28:39) <Everton> [18:23] -[OH]RuneScript- *** [ CLAN ]: Sgt Frank1 is in 21 clans. First 2 clans: Divine Forces, Divine Forces return until the end Unit | URL: http://runehead.com/clans/search.php?search=sgt_frank1
(18:28:53) <Everton> [18:24] <%Everton> !clan xdxdxxdxxdx
(18:28:53) <Everton> [18:24] -[OH]RuneScript- *** [ CLAN ]: Xdxdxxdxxdx was not found in the RSHSC.

(18:38:49) <Everton> [18:33] -[OH]RuneScript- *** [ CLAN ]: Iluvkarolina was not found in the RSHSC.

You do the math....
Downfall Full Ending: 135 opts
WAR PICTURES:
The K/D Ratio:

Downfall Kills: 157
Downfall Deaths: 124
Rune Raider Kills: 108
Rune Raider Deaths: 149

... Why do they sterilise the needle prior to lethal injection?
Latest entry by Nennavari,
Not that I expect many people - if any - to be terribly interested in my inane comments and pointless articles about things of little interest, but I've always wanted to start a blog, so here it is dammit! As an added bonus it'll help stave off the boredom while I cut trees with the gnomes (huh, that actually sounds a little bit like a euphemism... it's not as dirty as it sounds!). The reason I've decided to start this blog (and indeed, join Tip.It in the first place) is simple: 48 days until I get the College exam results that will decide my entire bloody future, and 71 days until I (hopefully) start University... Yes, that's a lot of free time. I suppose I could get a job, but... meh
Anyhow, Tipsy: The state when you are drinking alchohol in which you are past light headedness but before being drunk. ~ Courtesy of the Urban Dictionary. Seems fitting then that I'm halfway through a bottle of wine as I write the very first entry. Well, for those who are interested in my own particular brand of nonsense, I've split my blog up into a variety of different parts:
- The Runescape category will contain the obvious, just little updates as to how and when I'm wasting my free time;
- The Diary category is also fairly straightforward. I'll treat it as a real, virtual diary, to be viewed and laughed at by all. There probably won't be daily entries, that would be far too mundane.
- The Musings category will just be filled with random, senseless comments of no significance or purpose.
Well, that's that for the intro. Feel free to leave a comment - in fact I implore you to do so... Now! New here and I'd really like to get to know everyone. Consider this my introduction to the forum in general.
Cheers,
Nenn. Xx

Well here we are again, it's always such a pleasure
Remember when I went to the expo twice?
Oh how I laughed and laughed
And I was really laughing
Under those circumstances, I had a great time
Go buy some collectible items,
That's what I'm counting on...
I used to blog daily, but, now I only blog yearly.
There were cosplayers,
(some were... quite the trannies)
And a few of there photos are on my phone.
One day I uploaded them
So they could live forever
It's such a shame I deleted the
Flandre Scarlet!
The performances were quite exciiitiiiing!
That's what I was counting on...
I used to blog daily, but, now I only blog yearly.
Goodbye to another expo.
Oh, it was a fun one.
It would be fun, if it didn't end.
Well, roll on Octo-oh-ber,
I can't wait un-til then!
If I make this blog, maybe I'll stop thinking of it!
You want those pictures? Take them.
That's what I'm counting on...
I used to blog daily, but, now I only blog yearly.
Now I only blog
yearly.

An MCM-themed remake of Want You Gone from Portal 2. That was fun to make. Anyway! Here are some pictures. Not many this time.
[hide=Pictures]

Chell, Wheatley and GLaDOS. I really liked the humanized-GLaDOS, especially since she's holding POTaTOS <3

BIT.TRIP RUNNER! As much as I HATED that game (when getting the potato for the Portal 2 ARG), this was a good cosplay.

CHIESTER 45! FIYAH! FIYAH! FIYAH!

CONGRATULATIONS! I AM... BEAAAATOREEEEEECHAY!

I'm her biggest fan - I'll follow her until she loves me. Papa. Paparazzi. Funnily enough, I had been thinking if someone would ever cosplay as Ms. Gaga (particularly in this outfit), and then she came up on stage for a performance! Psychic, or what?

Heavy decided to lose weight, branch out and divorce the Medic. For Lara Croft? Bad choice, Heavy, bad choice.

Why is the Minecraft character so adorable? \(^3^)~

Neytiri and her buddy. A pretty amazing cosplay, in my opinion.

THAT SPY IS SHAGGIN' YER MA'

Whereas that Spy is doing the right thing and shagging the ever-so-sexy Female Spy.

MOTHERDUCKING XENOBLADE BATCHES!!!@@@@!!!/////@@@@@@@@@@@@@

And the 3DS, with Ocarina of Time 3D.

Well, that's all. See you again, in October, I hope!

The Diary of a Berserker Pure
A blog by FalenFaith in General- 1 Entry

- 5203 Views
Runescape, Pures, Falen Faith, Zerkers
Welcome to my guide on how to become a berserker pure. :) I have had some experience with these pures and have made guides on these before, just not as in-depth as I intend for this one to be.
Some key elements that make zerker pures stand out from other accounts:
1: Low cb and high stat builds.
2: One of the best pure builds.
3: Access to more equipment and options than most other pures.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Keep in mind as you read:
-Quest Attack/Defence/Prayer until you are sure you have no quests left that give exp in these if you intend on caping these skills off at lower levels. Example: You want 60 Attack but the next quests gives you 61, I warned you.
-Take your time with making a berserker pure, they require a lot of time and patience to make a perfect berserker and many give up. Also, you are more likely to avoid a mistake if you TAKE THE TIME and plan it out.
-Make SURE you are willing to put in the effort, dont half-ass it. It makes or breaks a many a pure.
-Do NOT have your zerker pure as just a "side-project" that you play on sometimes. If so your pure may never be finished at that rate, so this means it's not a good idea to bring one of these up with a main/tank.
-BE SURE TO HAVE FUN WHENEVER YOU CAN. :) This helps renew your drive to make the pure into a success.
-Lastly, make sure you name your pure a good name, don't do things like "AWSM Pkr69", take the time to think of a good name.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To start let's identify the two best sceanario's on how to start out, please know I will not be giving a guide about how to become one if you're already higher than 1 def on your account:
1: A level 3 'newbie' account that you have just created.
2: A 1 defence pure that you've spent some time on that has good solid combat skills w/ non-cbs.
Some of the quests you need to be getting ready for are:
-Dragon Slayer.
-Defender of Varrock.
-Heroes' Quest.
-Nature Spirit.
-In Search of the Myreque.
-In Aid of the Myreque.
-Between a Rock.
-Fremminik Trials.
-What Lies Below.
Note: These quests should give you 42 Defence, you can either quest or train the rest. Training is the safest method. ALSO, do NOT take the exp reward from Monkey Madness, it will give you 45 but you will be 45.5 technically b/c it leave you like halfway to 46 from 45.
----------------------------------
Below are the requirements you'll need for 45 Defence:
Example Quest-
Quest/Skill reqs for Example[reqs for the quest to the <-]
Dragon Slayer-
33 Quest Points
Defender of Varrock-
51 Hunter, 59 Mining, 51 Agility, and 54 Smithing
Demon Slayer[N/A]
The Knight's Sword[10 Mining]
Temple of Ikov[40 Ranged, 42 Thieving]
The Family Crest[40 Mining, 40 Crafting, 40 Smithing, 59 Magic]
What Lies Below[Rune Mysteries, 35 Runecraft, 42 Mining]
Garden of Tranquility[Creature of FrankenStrain, 25 Farming]
The Shield of Arrav[Questing buddy]
Heroes' Quest-
25 Herblore, 50 Mining, 53 Fishing, 53 Cooking, 56 Quest Points
The Shield of Arrav[Questing buddy]
The Lost City[31 Crafting, 36 Woodcutting]
Merlin's Crystal[N/A]
The Dragon Slayer[33 Quest Points]
Druidic Ritual[N/A]
Nature Spirit-
The Restless Ghost[N/A]
Priest in Peril[N/A]
In Search of the Myreque-
25 Agility
Nature Spirit
In Aid of the Myreque-
15 Mining, 25 Crafting, 7 Magic
In Search of the Myreque
Between a Rock-
30 Defence, 40 Mining, 50 Smithing
Dwarf Cannon[N/A]
Fishing Contest[10 Fishing]
Fremminik Trials-
40 Woodcutting, 40 Crafting, 25 Fletching
What Lies Below-
35 Runecraft, 42 Mining
Rune Mysteries[N/A]

Striking wrenches are designed to be hit by a hammer or sledge on the end of the wrench in order to free stubborn nuts or bolts, or to set and tighten. The slugging end of the wrench is relevant to the opening sizes of each wrench. Striking Wrenchesare forged from alloy steel and properly heat-treated to guarantee specific Rockwell hardness for strength and maximum tool life. Straight style Striking Wrenches have greater handle strength and the clearance in overall head diameter the is necessary when working with flange connections. The striking surface is large and smooth to reduce the chance of a glancing blow, and lessens the chance of a rope slipping from the end of the handle when maintaining tension on the wrench. There are also offset striking wrenches available, these are used when working clearance is a problem. Striking wrenches are available in dozens of different sizes so you can easily find the size you need. If you need it, we got it. Always use the right tool for the right job, and always wear your safety equipment.

wood floor lamps tend to be not just a cosmetic strategy to light source locations at your residence, but additionally a powerful strategy to remove darkness from an area that may n't have built in equipment and lighting to the rooms as well as upper limit. wood floor lamps, which have a good up dealing with sconce, will brighten an area better than a upper limit light source in so many cases, because of the light source will reveal from that upper limit in addition to around higher rooms. This specific succeeds especially good should you have any vaulted breathing space in addition to bright as well as light-colored rooms.
1. Determine which has a tape determine that peak in the upper limit in the bedroom you want to spot any post flooring area rug within. You don't would like to spot any post flooring area rug in the bedroom which has a upper limit that may end up being very near to the top rated in the area rug.
2. Create a mind notice as well as also, a digital snapshot in the bedroom the fact that area rug will go in to enable you to compare styles of bulbs whenever searching in addition to think about just how they will healthy with all the room's interior decoration.
3. Determine that peak in the area rug you're organization acquiring as well as deciding on for any preferred bedroom. Seventy-two in ., as well as 6TH toes, is often a frequent peak with regard to essential wood floor lamps in addition to in most cases this specific peak succeeds for all locations. Nonetheless, should you have lower ceilings which might be only with regards to EIGHTEEN in . higher approach area rug, it may well not alone glimpse incorrect proportionally, but is not project as much light source precisely as it may when the idea experienced a lot more bedroom over the idea.
4. Compare styles when you obtain the peak you require. Have a look at that snapshot you procured in the bedroom in addition to obtain the colour in addition to content in the area rug. You will discover cheap bulbs, shiny bulbs, and several own tumbler sconces, while some own a reduced amount of breakable versions. When it really is for any baby's bedroom cheap can be better. When it really is for any family room which has a tumbler espresso kitchen table, then any tumbler sconce will coordinate properly. A good number of tend to be brightly coloured, and several are easily bright as well as dark-colored. Whatever you can picture greatest within your bedroom will be the correct one particular.
5. Obtain the needs this specific area rug will with luck , fulfill. Would it be only to include additional light source in the gray bedroom? Then a particular light bulb post flooring area rug will suit you perfectly. Will you spot that area rug around any reading easy chair and as well utilize it to learn? You might want any post flooring area rug which not alone offers the totally normal upward-facing light source, nonetheless a good equip linked which has a downward-facing reading light source.

Comments, complaints, and praise for the game we all hate to love.
Latest entry by Norriie,
As finals week is getting dangerously close, I find myself desperately searching for more ways to procrastinate (this blog post being one of them- I've got a speech to do in 2 hours. Oops.)
And what better way to waste time than to get back online and start playing runescape again?
After catching back up on the things I've missed in the last few months, I'm excited for a fresh new month of updates. And here's my thoughts on today's Behind The Scenes.
Capes of Distinction
Well... they tried. I feel like many people are rather disappointed after seeing the spoiler pictures posted on twitter and facebook, and I kind of feel the same way. I think that putting the cape design up to a majority vote was probably a bad idea. Particularly since it was separated into so many parts- no one could have had any idea what each section would look like when combined with the others. Oh well. It probably could have been a lot worse. In any case, I look forward to wearing it around for a few hours. I do like the idea of the milestone capes. Perhaps this will encourage more people to do what I've done for years- keep their skill set decently rounded instead of rushing for one 'easy' 99 after another while ignoring skills that they don't really like. Skillers will probably be annoyed that they they can't wear any of the capes, but I don't think that's anything new.
Dwarf Lava Flow Mine
I just have one thing to say.. Why? We already have the LRC for "mid-to-high-level" mining purposes. I suppose this is for people who are kinda-almost-able-to-use-LRC-but-not-quite. The exp boosting outfit sounds nice though. It would save you around 1 mil exp or so on your way to 99, so I can't really argue with that.
Death Hats
"Death Hats" sounds more like the title of one of their april fool's prank updates. I can't say I'm really all that interested in this update since I don't do pvp, but I'm sure there are pking pures out there who feel like they don't do enough bragging and boasting already. This will be a glorious update for them.
Upgrades Week / Graphical Improvements
The little updates are usually my favorites. Most of the small upgrades won't affect me much, though (I've never hammered coconuts before, as delightfully dirty as it sounds). But I'm always happy to see when Jagex takes player's suggestions and does something about it. I'm sure the new graphics update will look good too. I think they're doing a great job so far- last weekend, my boyfriend mistook me playing runescape for WoW, because the graphics were so nice.
Fremennik Sagas
I think I'm most excited about this one. Kind of a like a quest, but repeatable, and has something to with dungeoneering? Sounds like a good combination to me. Hopefully it'll provide an alternative way to get exp for dung while still gaining tokens. I'm sure the f2p players will appreciate it as well. It's nice to see them getting more updates these days.

Latest entry by T. Skill,
Today I was chopping ivy behind Varrock castle and having a nice chat with another player. Eventually the topic rolled around to wealth and the other player (who was a lower level than me) was astounded at my "whopping" 20M in the bank. He began to ask me for various tips on money making so I did my best to help out with my lacking knowledge as I've only recently returned to 'Scaping. Then he jokingly asked for 100k (he said he was kidding afterwards) and without a word I went to the bank and returned and gave him 500k with no explanation.
Now it was at this point that I expected him to just take it without any gratitude (as would have happened usually in the RS community) but he immediately couldn't stop thanking me. It wasn't even a substantial gift on my part but the response I got made it worth it.
I thought this was interesting and makes me want to give the RS community another chance. Perhaps it's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be.

Latest entry by DarkerFalz,
I'm an 18 year old guy who lives in the US, East Coast to be more exact.
Currently in my senior year of high school, probably going up to Calvin College in Michigan for college next year.
I like to read books, mostly fantasy or sci fi. I also like to read mangas. I'm in the middle of reading the Uglies series by Scott Westerfield.
I like to play video games also (shock and disbelief!). Currently, I'm playing (other than RuneScape) Rune Factory 3, Radiant Historia, Final Fantasy I (on my iPod), and Harvest Moon DS. (I like the farming type games, they're kinda fun. :P)
I like just about any type of music, except rap and metal.
I have an off-the-wall sense of humour, and even though I live in the US, I use the British style of spelling some things.
That's basically me in a nutshell.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me them.
