Well, for the forseeable future.
Yeah, it's over. For now. Over the past few months I've grown tired of RuneScape. It no longer holds my attention like it once did. I no longer felt the excitement I once felt when I logged in. I didn't care for logging in, but did it just for the sake of checking ports and doing dailies. Re-sub time came around and I decided not to re-sub, but to cancel my membership. I can't see the point in paying for POP and the chance of something to bring me back.
So yeah, no need for a long drawn out thing. I did this a couple of weeks ago and haven't been back. So I suppose this is truly it. I can maybe see myself coming back for the new skill or a new quest or something, but for now, I'll be playing other games and doing other things.
Thanks RuneScape, I still love you, but you've got nothing for me at the moment. And the constant jamming of SOF/SGS down our throats furthers the problem. But that's something different entirely.
Catch ya next time, ~Dax.

Just a blog about my new Runescape journey!
Latest entry by Rellik Sans,
So, some weird things happened.. basically I was hacked, but I recovered the account & my Tip.It account was hacked too. Thankfully, I got both back & have done some things to make my accounts & computer(s) safe. Anyway here is an update on how my account progress has been going..

Anyway, after I get 50 fishing I was thinking of getting 50 mining, but instead of just getting 50 smithing, I'd make steel bars (buying the iron & coal) for a little profit until I have about 20M or so. Still not sure though.

Latest entry by Kirschen,
Warning: This is a lengthy episode. If you’re here to see the cute moemons, you are in luck. Otherwise, get some snacks.
Sorry about the delay. I was having a mild breakdown and questioned how I should change my approach, so I changed it towards to the more focus on the moemons, which is the main premise of this hack. With Pokemon X/Y now out, it’s very likely progress will crawl to a slow halt, or slower halt. Something of that sort. In fact, this will be the last update until X/Y comes out and may be while before I add a new "Episode" (read: mostly finished with X/Y).
[spoiler=Episode 3: The First Level of Early Game Hell]
Now that Oak had, without breaking a sweat, drafted me into his sick and horrid project, it was clear than I would be facing an extremely uphill battle for the freedom of myself and all Moemon. Like every startup revolutionary, me and Clara knew we would need to play their game to win, and that mean acquiring allies and tools. But first, we needed a map!

That was easier than I expected. Daisy is a far cry from what Samuel and Luigi are. Maybe there are likeminded human beings who get it.

We made our return to Route 1, sinister shill and all. This time though, we had a mean of befriending potential allies.

Zhu Zhu was the first of many, a bit of a worrywart though. Good thing I cannot read Pokenese.

Karen, a rather weird Mankey, joined not long after. The duo we were became a five man band, but a rather weak one at that. There was no way we were going to be beating any Gym Leaders like this.

So we made like little sissies and manned up, even though the genders said otherwise.

For something with 95% accuracy, missing with Tackle was a rather common occurrence…

But the obnoxious grinding and bad luck was worth it! Now let’s find Luigi and kick his entitled ass!

Hello, you jerk. If anyone knows how to ruin the mood, you’re the go-to guy. And what’s wrong with some tourism?

You’re one to talk you hypocrite! So why are you here? Doing what young males do when nobody is around?

ROUND 2: BEGIN!

I hate Sand Attack. Oh. So. Much.

And there was much revenging and rejoicing!

Karen eventually fell, but not before crippling Charmander in all her determination and glory! Now comes the finish!

Victory was mine once more, and much spoils to indulge in as well! 4-2 score!

Says the one who used Sand Attack. And you’re just mad I plundered 144 Pokedollars off your fanny pack!

I beat you twice in a row! We earned our right to dawdle! Frankly, I shall dawdle our bums as a victory dance, and right in front of your face nonetheless! Dawdle dawdle dawdle! *shakes bum* WITNESS MY DAWDLING SKILLS!

He forgot to tell me to smell you later. Guess my dawdle dance was too much for him to handle to the point where he forgot his catch phrase in the process. Oh well, his loss! At least I am not the one going to suffer on the first two gyms. *dawdles in the open some more* I could get used to this!

Then I remembered I had two fainted little girls that needed tending to. Hope they aren’t afraid of doctors and such, which is where we were headed to. Now onwards to Pewter City!

Oh, look! It’s the human roadblock who roadblocked me to oblivion over a lack of coffee and got kicked in the gut in retribution! And look, he's trying not to gaze into my direction! Let's say hi!

You are in no position to give me advice, you obnoxious, blocking hobo! And are you blind as well! *shakes pokeballs* See this Ratatta and Mankey? I don’t need your late-on-arrival exposition, you!

Take note of the fact this in the only male Moemon in existence and bask in its rarity before it would be enslaved by this elderly hobo. Seriously, that Weedle would have been ruling Route 2 and Viridian Forest like it was nobody’s business!

I have no idea how one fits a television in a purse and still can walk around in spite of such an item hindering them.

But before we continued out revolution, we took time to enjoy cheap and horribly made edutainment on the T.V. for the sake of gawking.

It was an analogue T.V. It was destined to screw up! It was even made by Deke Inc, for Arceus' sake!

After a short-lived television break, I proceeded to the Viridian Forest in all of its infested glory.

A boy and several of his friends split up the gang in the search for venomous insects far away from civilization. There was just no way this could end well.

Pikachu has a 5% encounter rate and it was the first little moe girl I encountered! The only way it could have been luckier was if it was in the possession of a Light Ball. It was absolutely criminal to not let a thing so adorable and rare join La Resistance. No, that’s not a good name for us.
Team Plasma! That would make a good name! I doubt any group has taken the name anyway so it’s not like there is anything to tarnish.

Oh my, this one is going to cause so much trouble. Welcome to Team Plasma, Ikki! Now let’s have and adventure and survey the wildlife!

It then dawned on me that I forgot an essential item that would make this forest tolerable. And I was going to pay for it.

But one has to admit these little things are just adorable! Seriously, I just want to hug this thing- Oh wait, Karen is still suffering from poison, isn’t she?

… At least I was heading to the Center anyways.

At least I learned my lesson and stocked up. Yes, the broken analogue television is still there.

Before returning to that horrible maze of insects, toxins, and electric rodents, me and Ikki took some time out to bond through combat. This plucky moemon really pulled her weight rather quickly. It was likely no thanks to Pidgey being weak to electricity.

It turned out the forest was not only prone to venomous insects but bug-catching thugs as well. Quite the little gangsters we have!

Four on two. How cruel of me! *laughs*

Our little dominatrix fighter is now ready to dethrone the first Gym Leader and give Team Plasma some momentum!

But this game sure can! Now that the fun was over with, it was with the rest of this horrid forest.
NEXT TIME: Team Plasma or Team Cherra engage in battle with Brock! Oh, and more moes are met.

That One Chick Maxing Out Her Character Inefficiently!
Latest entry by ForsakenMage,
So my last entry was over a year ago, with life taking a dramatic turn, leading me to work in the gaming industry. It has been a year full of blessings, and I have met so many awesome people along the way.
Of course, after joining the industry, I was finding myself semi-glued to my phone with e-mails and general social media catch up, not to mention news. At this point, most people in our family have smartphones, except my dad. Now that he's finally gotten around to handling e-mails, he figured he could get one too.
This, naturally, doesn't happen without some hilarity. So with this comeback blog entry comes "Oh Parents" Part XI! ^_^ Whole conversation is in Cantonese, translated into English. My parents were having this conversation while debating on whether or not to let Dad get a smartphone (Mom has one and is a total pro at it with little teaching from us kids).
Mom: You know if you pick out a phone yourself, something will go wrong and you start yelling at the phone, the kids are going to say it's your fault and that you were the one that picked out the phone yourself. Whereas if you let the kids pick the phone for you, if something goes wrong they'll fix it for you with no fuss.
Dad: What do you mean blame? If it breaks, I can get them to fix it no problem.
Mom: But that's exactly what I mean! If you pick it yourself, and the phone goes bad, they'll say it's your fault for picking out a bad phone! But if they pick it for you they will try to fix it with no problem.
Dad: It's not my fault if the phone goes stupid!
Mom: That's the point. The kids want to make sure you get a phone that won't "go stupid." But if you do pick a bad phone, it's all your fault.
Dad: I don't get it.
:? We're holding off getting a smartphone for him.

road to max/comp cape
Latest entry by bio-toxicens,
well, i'll start with a bit about me i started playing runescape in (about) 2000ish, and after quitting, starting rinsing and repeating more times than i can count i've decided that im not quitting again, until i have either comp cape or trimmed comp cape, probably taking a break after gaining max cape to boss/rebuild bank
rather than going for everything maxed im breaking it into smaller, and easier targets each time like my current goal: all stats 90+, all elite tasks completed for each area, currently i have varrock, falador, ardougne and seers elite sets finished and my stats can be found in my signature (once i figure out how to edit it after finishing this post)
desert and fremenik elites are my next target, luckily im not too far away from completing them and have the crafting supplies banked, the hard part comes after i get the 20k fishing exp and crafting alot of ruby amulets (i pked someone in low wilderness holding 9k cut rubies+9k gold bars) to complete those tasks, and needing to gain 3million thieving exp, im unsure on where to do this but it'll probably end up being pyramid plunder just to unlock more black ibis pieces (i've got half the set already) and if i get bored there, i'll swap to monkey knife fighters for a while (i've got a pretty low attention span which is why i've started this-something to fill in and write while doing wrist slitting skills that are either afkable or require alot of attention which is too much for me)
thats about it for now, if anyone knows better thieving xp/hr than pyramid plunder/monkey knife fighters i'd love to know =][=

What it says on the label.
Latest entry by firebird308,
It's been an age since I last posted anything here, so let's do a list of the updates that most interest me.
- Ranged Slayer Dungeon: I have 91 Ranged and 93 Slayer. This is a good way to level up both and gives me some content to work towards.
- Divination Skill: Been looking forwards to this ever since the new skills were announced.
- Dwarf Finale Quest: I voted for this and would like to see the end of the storyline. I'm disappointed there's no graphical reworks coming with it though.
- Barrows Brothers Deluxe: I like Barrows although I don't do them often, so this should be interesting.
- Player-Owned Ports Expansion: Awesome. I'm done with the storylines and could use more. I still have plenty of scrolls to get though, so hopefully it'll hold off until I've gotten more, since I'm sure more scrolls are coming with it.
- Quest: Bringing Home the Bacon: It's about time for a new quest.
- Upgraded Tool Belt with New Tools: Yesplz. Only thing I can really think of that I want shoved on is the teasing stick, but I'm sure there's plenty more that can go on.
- 6th Age Quests 1, 2, 3 and 4: More quests are definitely needed after the first half of this year.
- Grouping System: Depending on how this works, I may do various minigames more often (or at all).
- Construction Rework: Long overdue. And as I have 94 Construction, it'll actually do me some good.
- New bank interface: Sounds good. Maybe there'll be some more tabs to help me better organize things.

Drop logs of a Not-So-Honorable slayer
Latest entry by chenw,
Sorry, feeling too excited.

At long f'ing last.
Just for giggles, I sent out on an 81st scroll before I collected my 80th at 82%, wanna see what happens.
For the record, nothing changes in port. Nothing at all, except for the fact that you can no longer select what scroll to get, hardly a surprise.
Update on 01-May-2013:
Completed all of my PoP armor sets (last piece was DL hood), now gathering jade for my jade portal, and then... the long voyage to capping all of the resources and trade goods (which is undoubted going to be a huge PITA, especially Bamboo)

Wow, expanded out it looks much more level-ful that the list above makes it look =P. Furthermore, I also reached my monetary goal and now posses a whole 212k. I reached this by cutting oaks. Not exactly the most efficient, but with my previous wealth gained me monies much faster that trying to flip would've. Especially considering I was never very successfull at flipping even when I had wealth (old account) =0. My new monetary goal'll be reaching 500k.
As for smithing, I should have enough ores to be able to get to 50 smithing and still have some left over. Guess we'll have to see what happens from there.
Also, I want to thank everyone for their comments before. Even if I didn't directly respond I did read them (just forgot to respond, busy week =0). Time for a new question however.
How exactly does combat XP work in the EoC? Cause I've got a very screwed up strength level (~ 1/2 of my attack) due to me wanting to be able to wield my tools when I created this account. I tried attacking some weak things and didn't recieve any xp. Do my enemies have to be around the same level as me?

Latest entry by TLighting,
So long time ago i had started and finished the first Fairy tales quest and i did have the skills to do the second or the third one at the time.
So today i looked to get the second one done seeing that over time i had got the skills i needed. It looking like a quest i could take care of real quick also to get to unlock the fairy ring tele. Ya this quest i was going to finish.

Starting it this quest off wasnt the greatest >.> i talk to the master farmer then run to the lost city then go to the house that the next step told me to go to.... Just the quest helper pic was different then what i was seeing in game >.< So i go run in the room then i go see if i could go in to another room. NOPE its locked and at this point i was ready to stop the quest and maybe go kill a monster or two. Then i brought up the Runescape quest in game and it said i had to wait for the farmers plants to grow o.e
Maybe this is a listen for me to read every once in a while. So i go back to him to continue my quest. NOW everything is running back to how the guide tells me. In the quest alittle bit more they want me to pickpocket the GODFATHER. So i was like ok i got this it should be fine. My lvl is way higher then what the requirements are calling for. Well lets just say i was get kicked out of the lost city more then i should of have.
Now almost done the quest all i have to do is kill a monster and make the potion what else could go wrong. Well the guide i was looking at was making these monster to be tough and that when i kill one to go quick telegrab the item you need and run.

Lets say either the guy was weak when making the guide or the EoC really made us strong. I went in killed one the others didnt even attack and i was off to finish yet another quest ^.^

With this quest done my herb lvl went up

So with that done i took a look at what the third part of the series had waiting for me. Well lets just say i have been wanting that magic watering can for a long time and today i shall get it!
After running around getting all the teeth i needed i was ready for another easy fight....

Lets say at first i thought i was going to be teleing out but when my teeth grow and started to help. Lets just say that we were killing.
We got trough the waves of baddies and going to the boss... But my one ally was down and regrowing and the other two were fighting the boss. Then they both die and then they started to regrow..... so the one that had already regrew was sitting of to the side to wait for his friends so i guess i had to do the same.

After alittle bit i had got them all back and started to attack the boss. Then the boss was on his last shield then he stopped attack. But my guys were beating the poop out of him. Nothing was happening though i start to attack him but he just sat there........
After moving some of my guys around i was able to get his last shield and start attacking him.

So now i have finished the whole series of the Fairy Tales ^.^

My next quest probably be Death Plateau AGAIN!!! ( For some reason when they added the new updated area it made who ever did the quest make them do it again >.>) and then desert treasure.
Why those two quests? Well heres why:
1) I need Death Plateau so i can get to the spot were my clue scroll wanted me to go.
2) I need Death Plateau to make spike boots for Desert Treasure.
3) I need to do Desert Treasure for Recipe for Disaster.......
Recipe for Disaster has been on my unfinished list for..... man feels like its been there for ever o.e.
Well for the people who are wondering what i got for the wheel well here you go( Also it was a new day so i had a total of 7 spins)

Till my next adventure Cya.
p.s. Sorry for any miss spelling or grammar XP

Latest entry by RSBDavid,
So today I went to MEPS as part of the process for enlisting into the Air Force. Let me go ahead and start off from the night before when I went to the motel.
So I arrive the night before after taking a bus from where my recruiter's office is to the MEPS contracted hotel. It was about a 2 hour trip after picking up a few more people along the way. One of the people on the bus had the same last name as me and we didn't find out until later. After we got the motel, we got briefed over how the next 24 hours will be and we sent to do whatever. It was about 5:00PM by this time. Knowing we had to wake up at 4, I had planned to go to sleep by 8:30 as the next day will be long and tiring. Between 5 and 8, we all chilled in this MEPS lobby place where they had several PS3 consoles and XBOX 360 consoles setup. Out of the 25 people there, all but 3 were playing COD or BF3. During this time, we had a meal card where we could go to the fancy restaurant they had to get a meal for free. I got this grilled chicken pasta dish as I knew it would be filling, but have nutrients to get me through the day. At around 8 is when I went to the room and watched the History Channel until I fell asleep.
The next day started at 4:00AM with a wake-up call and all possible alarms I could use in my room. I normally go to bed at 4:00AM so it was a challenge to get up. A cold shower and a quick breakfast later and I am in the lobby waiting to catch a bus to the MEPS building. About 5:45 is when it arrived and we were at MEPS by 6:00. We were greeted by a SSGT from the Marine Corps and he had us line up to go through security. This 4'9 pissed off security guard yelled at to get in such an order and move such a way. After going through the security gates, it was time to check-in and get started with medical. After getting my blood drawn, eyes checked for not only how blind or not I was but color and depth perception, pissing in a cup with 4 other guys shoulder-to-shoulder, doing exercises in my boxers with 20 other guys, and finally getting kinky with the chief medical officer, I thought I was ready to go.
When I was a kid, there was a slight excess if some nutrient in my blood which requires a wavier with the Air Force. So after the CMO advised me of this, I had to take my paperwork to the USAF Liaison and he advised me I will have to wait for my blood to be shipped out of state to Texas or somewhere for additional analysis. So he said that the process will take a week, but it could take up to 30-45 days to get the wavier as it has to go up through the medical ranks and be signed off by the surgeon general.
So I just got home about an hour ago, sort of bummed about not being able to swear in today, but hopefully next time. If they deny my wavier request, I will try and get a federal job as I have a security clearance. I am probably going to pop open a beer and chillax tonight.

A blog of me.
Latest entry by Hobgoblinpie,
I've taken a long absence away from Tip.It, so thought I'd update a bit on my progress.
Firstly, as surprising as it seems, especially to myself, I have reached 'Max Total' (or rather, what Jagex define as Max). The last levels to get are the 7 longest levels I've had to undertake - including zmi Runecrafting.
In the time I've been absent, that means I have reached 99 Summoning, Farming and Dungeoneering - some of my least favourite skills. Dungeoneering grew on me for a bit, and I have now lost motivation to train it again - whereas my interest in RuneScape has been renewed with Player Owned Ports.
The goal from here on is simply to finish up some quests that I really should have finished a long time ago. Desert Treasure and Temple at Sennisten to name a couple, as well as to increase my bank value, after having paid through the nose for several things (99 farming twice included).
Strangely, my interest in playing the game really stems from Player Owned Ports, and I thusly only login to do voyages - that is, I play a game within a game.
Anyway, that's it for now.

The Illustrated and Animated Adventures of a Noob Completionist
Picked up SGWD recently (although with EoC, that really isn't saying very much) and decided to vid the beginning of my third trip.
I'm really getting the hang of EoC combat, although my auto-attack/ability timing can still use work. In any case, I'm using them well enough to passably kill bosses efficiently and quickly.
I was told to charge into SGWD with a shield for rejuvenate and the defense, but looking back on the trip after it was over, I doubt I really REALLY needed the shield and could've done just switching to it two or three times over the course of the hour. So there's something to try in the future.
In any case, here's the video. Enjoy.
