They might, because right now a lot of items are taken out of the game (lost upon death), so there will be an inflation of gp soon, and that usually leads to people buying rares, instead of all other items rising in price. Rares (used to) work as a buffer for inflation.

That's a good question! And I wonder what the players' reaction would be? Would it have been for the better or for the worse? I personally think a lot of players would have complained, partly because it's very different from the wild, and RS players are generally very conservative about changes :P (thinks of all the rants when the look of the zero changed...)

When not using Summoning, your combat is based on everything except Summoning, and when summoning is used, your combat is based on everything including Summoning. I don't see how this can be any bad, and I feel really confused when I see all the rants about it on the RSOF, I just don't see what they're complaining about :?

Ezekiel was my first account, it was made during a time where after a certain amount of time of not logging in the account gets deleted though. And I stopped playing for a year, so I lost the account :(

You learn from your mistakes :P But I can see that it frustrated you a lot. I'd say just shrug it off and continue playing and take it as a small lesson. Besides, once you get higher levels you can get 1M in a breeze.

I fully agree, the quest cape is really hard to get compared to most other skills. But it was worse before, the respect for the quest cape rises the more hard quests that come out.

Does it really matter? I rather enjoy reading most speculations and I don't see how they can do any harm. If it's a ridiculous speculation of course I won't be interested in reading about it, but it wouldn't cause me any harm either, maybe even a laugh :P Speculations won't change the outcome, they're just a product of anticipation of updates.

Now... What's so great about these forums? I hear people crying that it's unfair and whatnot, but what's seriously so great about them? :? That Jagex will listen to their ideas more? Well so be it, Jagex at least need some reliable high levels (now don't get into a discussion about if they're reliable or not... Jagex obviously think they are, and I don't think people who are crying that it's unfair are going to be more reliable) to give them ideas, and they can't listen to everyone's ideas at once. Now if the intention of these forums isn't for suggesting high level content, then ignore what I said above. But if the intention of these forums is just to be a "community" or whatever, then what's so bad about it? If everyone had access to the forum it would obviously just be like any other RSOF forum. And I don't think people crying that it's unfair will contribute to the "community" in that forum :P Anyways, this shouldn't affect people in any way, it doesn't contribute anything negative at all from what I can see. The only negative thing I can think of people saying is that Jagex might be drawing their attention away from the RSOF suggestions to those forums, which I don't think they'll do. Only thing this causes is jealousy, and jealousy in this case is irrational, since this new forum doesn't change anything for normal people at all.

It was the same, if not worse, before they put a trade limit. What I find funny though is that they go through so much just to ask for free stuff, it's ridiculous :P

I'd find another game. I'm one of those who is always playing some game :P I won't stop, ever. But if I didn't play games, I guess it would be a bit like it is right now, because I don't play that often actually.
