  1. Canadia? I wanna go to Canadia. Oh my god, a typo! Anyways, can't really think of any funny things from the top of my head, I'll have to think a little bit and come back to this topic later. Good topic btw Rarex :
  2. I agree, it was just way too easy. They got a lot of critique for that so I'm betting the next one will be harder  But about Zelda turning into an MMORPG or whatever? That sounds a bit far fetched to me.

Mudvayne has a lot of bass, not my type of music though.

I don't get why they had to make a remake of [REC], why not just dub it? :? I mean it would be the same thing as if they did a remake of Pan's Labyrinth (although the setting doesn't fit with being in an English speaking country, but still).
  5. Oo can't wait to try it out :P (You sure as hell wont find me trying to attack a guy with a steel titan LOL). TBH the implementation of summoning in pvp right now is sad, not only BH, but in duels summoning is looked upon as if it wasn't a combat skill - It's the only skill that requires you to manual "enable" it, while all the others automatically are permitted, how is that fair? To correct, I'd say the only place we've seen them perform properly is in castle wars (not a fan of clan wars, dont know what's happening with it as far as summoning). I agree. But one thing I'm a bit worried about is that we'll have to use Summoning in multi-combat areas, and since all of the pvp world maps will obviously not be multi-combat, it might be a bit of a problem. I just wish they'd make Summoning for non-multi too, which would be fair anyways since we still get combat levels from our Summoning levels even if we're in non-multi. An argument against that would be that they can't program it so that both can attack an opponent at the same time, but I don't believe that, since randoms can attack at the same time as NPC's do in non-multi, and so could NPC's in the wildy when another player attacks you (remember all the RC'ers being annoyed that they couldn't use skelletons to be safe anymore?). When that "NPC in non-multi being able to attack players being attacked by another player" update occurred, I actually believed Jagex implemented it so that Summoning could be used in the wildy :P (and yes, that update happened before summoning was announced, I was one of those "summoning crazies")

Could well be, although it could also be part of the minigame. Good find, we'll see : As to what type of creature it is, it looks like some wooden based (since it looks stiff) bird with 4 legs :?
  7. Wow... wow what is working? clicking on Aviansies to get addy bars to sell? AMG thats soo like a real job. All merchants do is sit around and merchant, hay thats what some people do irl!!! I seriously think your one of thoes people who just cannot GE merchant so you complain about it. Merchanting, yes, price manipulation, no. There are laws against price manipulation IRL you know. Ever heard of the Sherman Antitrust Act? I'm guessing that Marksman meant GE price manipulators and Pureprayer thought he meant normal solo merchants. Simple misunderstanding.

Huh? :? Seems like a basic Psychology fact to me :? I took Psychology for one year, it was quite interesting, we went into the basics of each topic pretty much. But it wasn't really my type of thing, a bit too much of a theoretical practice for my liking.
  9. I haven't trained mining or woodcutting since 2005.
  10. I wonder how Summoning will be in PvP, we haven't been able to try yet, only in duels, which is a little different. I guess we'll see when the PvP serves come :)
  11. I like their new update scheme  Now we will have less updates to be able to have bigger updates that actually mean something to the game. Well worth it I'd say.
  12. Yeah, I think Slayer these days is mostly just useful for the "fun" factor in it.
  13. Doesn't affect me since I'm an investor, I invest in various items, I don't manipulate the prices of armour and weapons.
  14. But the most fun to solve (if you don't use a guide that is).. I really like solving puzzles: so mep3 is greatly welcome (as long as it's focus is on puzzles like mep2). i suppose if you like that sort of thing but mep2 was not fun in my opinion! :? and having to do that for a quest cape would be awful :S No that would be great, because the harder to get the quest cape the better IMO. Makes the quest cape more worth something :P
  15. I don't think we should directly assume that PvP worlds will be better than BH, sure they sound better, but it might not be the case. And it's very possible, even if PvP worlds are a great success, that many will still prefer BH over the PvP worlds.
  16. I never thought of that, good thinking.
  17. I think it is great, finally now merchants have to merchant the real way, where they make money off of natural (as natural as economics gets :?) price rises, instead of artificially creating the price rises in clans
  18. Awesome update
  19. I like this sig :) First sig change in a year or so, changed 2 hours ago or so. Edit: Although why is there so much space between the MSSW4 sig and the bottom? Edit2: Oh, now it changed, since I added more to the message I guess. Edit3: I might slow down the birds a bit.
  20. Maybe with sailing the higher level you are the more islands you could go to. Like for example you could go to an island with pretty good training spots for woodcutting at 70. Maybe with 99 you could go to a new mainland with new slayer monsters and stuff. There's a lot of potential.
  21. I go to raves sometimes, it's great. I like to dance to various trance music styles, not slow though of course.
  22. Haha, I have a friend who is like that with Tibia right now. Tibia does weird things to people :P

Probably not, I don't see why they would, unless it would help teach newbies somehow like the security dungeons.
  24. I'm a merchant, but not the kind explained in the article. I don't buy massive amounts of an item together with a clan to drive the price up, instead I look for items with graphs that have sinus curves and invest in those when they're about to go low and sell just before the top. This kind of investing is actually good for the economy, it balances the item prices out, making the curves smaller and smaller as time goes the more the item is used for investing. This is because you always buy before the bump reaches the bottom and sell before it reaches the top, or else you sell too late. So don't go saying that all merchants are bad for the economy :D I used to be a combat player in 2005-2006, but then changed to being a skiller until I found merchanting this year :P

Haha  Like previous people have said, it's called strategy :P If you want to stand face to face combat then just go to the Duel Arena =D>
