So I've just got my first Nechraeyl task, and I was wondering how I should go about doing it. I hear ice barraging them in the chaos tunnels is very fast, but I'm not entirely sure how to do it efficiently. I've decided not to use arcane stream necklace, or full slayer helm, as their magic damage bonus only affects one target with multi-targetting spells. I'll probably use a stole and full battle robes. I've never done this before, so I need all the information I can get. Yes, I do know it might be rather costly, but I've decided I want to try it out.

I play to have fun. If I happen to find something fun that's an effecient training method, that's a bonus.

I heard this on the RSOF, but wasn't sure if it was true. Seeing as it is, I'm pretty excited for the wave/surge box! Blastbox honestly doesn't have much a use to me, but I can see how useful it is for non-members.

I remember the Dag Mother iin Blood Runs Deep switches attack styles like tormented demons. Meaning you can protect from one attack style for a while, and when she changes, you can switch to protecting from that for a while.

I wanted to, but too many nubz kept attacking him in hope for some new rare dragon item or something...

Not sure if this topic would be considered too old to post in, but... I was wondering, with the release or god arrows (saradomin, guthix, and zamorak) giving the sighted magic longbow arrows with +60 range strength, could it possibly be worth using? It's more accurate, and fires faster than a rune crossbow, but its big disadvantage was being limited to rune arrows. Now with arrows technically better than dragon arrows (due to the 10% chance of bonus damage) available to sighted magic longbows, maybe it could have some more uses.

I was whacking level 22 skeletons with an easter carrot, and my cannon couldn't even hit on them. So I can say from experience, attack bonuses do affect cannon's accuracy.

:blink: Oktoberfest? I saw it saying that on the Message of the Week. October 1st. :) There's usually 7 days both days though, so spanning from 24th Sept - 8th October. No, I mean it said it was on October 1st in The Massage of the Week. [/hide]hmm, if they add in the OktoberFest, will they add in the Sinterklaas event in early December too? Is that something to do with "Santa Claus"? It sounds like it... People would probably want stuff like Hannukah (however its spelled), Kwanza, or whatever else first.

I can confirm, but they have very low DPS. Good for sniping though. Hmmm, I might consider buying a longbow sight. With the new god arrows from TT, they can +60 ranged strength arrows. Sounds like it could be useful.

I just looked on the Wiki, and they claim sighted longbows have a range of 13 squares? Can anyone test this? And while you're at it, they claim sighted longbows increase the speed by 1 tick, meaning they're as fast as whips/scimitars/daggers on rapid. Can anyone confirm this?

So... Romeo and Juliet are gone, presumably dead, and nobody remembers them. Some dwarf and his barbarian girlfriend took Juliet's mansion, and nobody recalls anyone living there before. This is more sad an ending than the original story's.

That's why crossbows aren't the "end-all-be-all best ranged weapon". People sometimes don't notice crossbows only have a max range of 9, while crystal bows, dark bows, and longbows can reach 10 spaces, as far as magic.

I've seen people use this in PvP, but it only really works on frozen opponents. Or possibly opponents with zero run energy... maybe we've found a use for leech run energy?

I was expecting something about "blue seude shoes" to be honest.

Awesome guide! I really do reccomend prayer flashing piety, though. I've gone through entire tasks using piety flashing and only used two prayer potions. It's totally worth it if you don't mind paying more attention.

I'd say it isn't really worth it. Usually I'm not one to care about small strength bonuses such as berserker/neitiznot helmet, but a small attack bonus is of even less value. Probably just people wearing it as of late so their heads fly around all wacky.

I believe the proper phrase is "Guns don't kill people! Bullets do!" Unless you plan on pistol whipping them to death. Oh, and I hear that Ritual of the Mahjarrat, the next grandmaster quest, is going to require 83 fletching, and I think that's its highest of its requirements.

Hey everyone, I was wondering how much profit spiritual mages are off task. I don't have the slayer level yet, but I will soon enough. My current stats are as follows. 94 attack 89 strength 91 defence 93 constitution 97 magic 80 range 82 prayer 83 summoning 65 herblore (can't use extremes or anything like that) Any reccomendations on equipment and inventory setup and which god's mages to kill would be much appreciated.

Just got a warped tortoise task yesterday, and I noticed this too. It's not a huge deal, but there's honestly no point in requiring us to switch them instead of just being able to have both.
