Manage the Kingdom Question
i have no idea what your question is asking. But if you set your harvest to 100% herbs 50% flax then change it to 100% coal 50% maples right before you collect you'll get 100% coal and 50% maples

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
Lets assume a target of infinitely large defense, and that runescape runs on a dice roll accuracy system. As the players stats approach high levels (which we can assume since we're talking about the highest level players who have access to chaotic weapons) we find that DPS becomes a function of (Maximum Accuracy Dice Roll)*(Maximum DPS) Lets assume that we're talking about Boss hunting scenarios (so no slayer mask since that's the only place where the CLS is currently debated to be viable) So assuming that the Max DPS of the chaotic rapier is 14% higher than the CLS (which it is for max stats, overloads, turmoil, and approximately maxed out gear) This means that the CLS needs a maximum accuracy dice roll that is greater than 14% higher than the rapier in order to be better than a chaotic rapier even on a target of essentially infinite defense. Finally lets compare the stab of the rapier to the slash of the longsword, by assuming that the stab and slash defenses of the target are roughly equal (few boss monsters are noticeably weak to any form of melee, other than say, stab on the corp beast) so for a maxed player, the attack bonus for the rapier on stab is about 136, to the chaotic longswords 165. The chaotic longswords is 21% higher. But if a +21% increase in weapon strength bonus doesn't translate to +21% increase in max hit. In fact, it translates to something typically much less. Granted we don't know how accuracy dice rolls are calculated, I think it's reasonable to assume that the +21% attack bonus difference translates to less than a +21% increase in accuracy dice roll. In which case, we know that the CLS is NEVER more than roughly 6% better DPS, even on a target of essentially infinite defense. In fact if we assume that accuracy dice rolls are calculated in the same way as maximum hits, we find that the maximum accuracy dice roll is only increased by +14% assuming the stats and gear mentioned above. In which case it indicates that the CLS doesn't even become EQUAL to a rapier until a target has infinite defense.

Need fast & efficient way of getting money.
So true. As TTGL taught us, you we are most powerful when you combine with others.

[DevBlog] Hit Marks: Damage Control
oh god YES that would make max hit calculators so much easier to research and perfect

[DevBlog] Hit Marks: Damage Control
This is exactly why I'm against it (although that is slightly more exaggerated). There was nothing wrong with Hitpoints before the Constitution "update," but they decided to add a purposeless extra digit which makes the splat larger (and therefore reduce visibility), anyway. Now they're going to baby us with more useless "updates" that only help brand new players (while making the game more annoying for everyone else). I know what I'm being attacked with when someone uses Ice Barrage on me. I know what I'm being attacked with when someone uses Diamond Bolts (e) on me. I know what I'm being attacked with when someone slashes me with a whip. Anyone who has played one damn game of Castle Wars knows the difference. Also, anyone who has reached the Abandoned Floors of Dung should know that Shades use both mage and ranged. Adding little icons which reduce visibility even more than before? No thanks. "OMG my hits are in vibrant red while others' are in maroon. Now people can finally believe it was my 500! [Goes to a boss] Omg can't hit 500s anymore must be a glitch. Riot W66 Fally for nerfing strength." <--- Logic of immature players who actually care who hits what. "OMG I didn't know that sharks heal 200, good thing Jagex tells me every single time I eat them now." <--- Logic of players with bad short term memories as a result of too much caffeine and/or ADHD. "OMG I can't see the BIG Deflect Melee curse icon over someone's head so I hope they add a SMALL one so I can see it better."<--- Logic of players who aren't even old enough to play. This may even be the most pointless update since they added those Beginner Gates to the game... without removing them on P2P worlds... (Honestly who's going to pay $6/month to a game they know nothing about? No one.) Pointless updates are pointless. No one is going to quit over such a worthless update, so Jagex will proceed, regardless of the opinions of the players. While we're at it, let's make hits x10,000 instead of x10 since someone will (quite cleverly) reply saying it's not spamming the screen. Are you just trying to say that you're against an update that helps newer players out? Simply because you hate updates that help new players out?

Should the daily assistance experience cap be put up?
jagex made it quite clear when they released it that effigies were meant to be assisted. TBH I like where it is right now, because if people could assist effigies and gain no xp for 30k xp, all the effigies would get used up. And we'd see alot of junk trading going on so people can buy up effigy xp. Which I think would also be a bad thing. Ideally jagex should streamline the process of finding open assisters. have the amount of xp you can assist be reflected in the hiscores for one thing would be nice. Or a GE system for finding effigy assisters, where you offer and request effigy assistance.

How come?
because the tips of whips can break the sound barrier, swords don't :P

How come?
MAN. Jagex needs to get its head out of the gutter.

What to spend lamps/peng points on
I'm set for 93 runecrafting, so I can get 99 easily off effigies. So that's out of the question. I've already got 99 farming/herblore/summoning so those are also out I'm primarily considering the following: Slayer - Technically the slowest, and i'm already close to max melee. And i plan to max range/mage elsewhere. But then again slayer does get me effigies... Agility - Supposedly 100k xp/hour with a barbarian horn at my level, but a rather active skill Fishing - only 40-50k xp/hour @ rocktails, or 70k xp if power fly fishing Mining - ~55k xp/hour? But I can superheat for smithing + magic xp on the side. Granted I'm close to max magic, and smithing can just be effigy assisted. Fishing is actually the most tempting for me right now, but im all ears.

A Moron's guide to pro corp
why do you use a mithril cbow to reduce the chance of KO? the cbow only determines accuracy, not max hit. if the problem is too many players shooting the core at the same time, wouldn't it make sense to just have fewer players aiming at the core when it comes out?

What to do while fletching arrows?
I fletched my arrows waiting for fish flinger games to start.
- Superheating

Superheating
not that this 100% answers your question but you have 85 mining on your account if i'm not mistaken, why don't you try superheating gold ore as you mine it @ living rock caverns You don't even need to reclick the gold rock after you cast your superheat spell earns about 55k mining xp + 50k smithing xp + 48k magic xp/hour at marginal loss as for your question, yes use a coal bag you can click my signature for data on how many you should expect to superheat per hour its about 964 steel bars, 750 mithril, or 667 addy bars per hour if you don't feel like heading over there though

It is now PROFITABLE to smith Rune 2hs
I'm surprised that this happened to 2H's and not kiteshields. If memory serves me right, kiteshields were, for a longstanding time, the most efficient thing to smith out of runite bars (aside from platebodies at obscenely high incomes)

Farseer Helm vs Infinity Hat
woah, +7, didn't realize that. but honestly it looks so ugly i might as well blow my money on a 3rd age hat :P
-
Flames of Zamorak vs. Claws of Guthix
because you can get +10% base magic damage with claws of guthix, thanks to the void mace. no such +10% bonus exists for flames of zamorak. additionally, the two attacks lower magic/defense by a percentage. if you're fighting a metal dragon, presumably their defense is massive, whereas their magic is not. in such a case, 5% of their defense level impacts their overall magic defense more than 5% of their magic levels.

Hardest 99?
Herblore takes about 40 hours and 325 mil gp using efficient potions and extreme potions (IE no cleaning of herbs, barbarian mixes, etc) [spoiler=Calculations]extreme attack potions are one of the more efficient potions available atm they require 88 herblore and get 450k xp/hour at 25 gp/xp 19 hours and 216 mil gp and before that its about 200k xp/hour but also at roughly 25 gp/xp So lets assume you're not an epic merchant. If you can hunt good bosses and earn just over 3 mil gp/hour, thats still about a total investment of 140 hours. if you only make 2 mil per hour, that makes the skill take 200 hours and 260 if you only make 1 mil gp/hour agility can take as little as 160 hours if you train it smart. Runecrafting is still about 250 hours with pure ZMI though slayer can be done in under 300 hours with appropriate stats, and remember it nets you effigies (which can be spent on slayer, but we're assuming you dont) and alot of xp in combat skills. I wouldn't underestimate the impact of the pricetag of herblore.

Hardest 99?
This conversation is going to take forever at this rate lol How about we each make a chart of the total time and money(or profit) it takes to 99 in each skill (and lets assume all 60 floors of daemonheim are out) and debate from there :P or perhaps the efficiency ratios of each of the skills (granted this would be a function, dependent on the current level of the assumed player) nevermind scratch that that would take too long. anyways I took a closer look at the BA horn. with 100k xp/hour I guess agility falls out off as the hardest 99
-
Hardest 99?
at lvl 95+, it is a walk in the park at lvl 91 it's very hard lvl 93 doesn't take too much effort, especially since you can chop ivies while you wait or what not. My signature is there because I'm not quite lvl 93 yet. but 93 is still just under half the xp to 99 Finding a good BA team, i'd say, can be very tough if you don't already have full penance, or a good BA rank.

Hardest 99?
construction isnt expensive anymore. It's like 6 gp/xp with SC hammers. people just don't think construction is a cool skill. agility is hardest IMO you can get 30k rc xp a day by assisting effigies now. Makes it alot easier.
