  1. Generally, most things are going to crash in price over time. More people getting the farm levels = More people able to farm snap = More snaps = Cheaper snapes Herb farming is extremely easy and a good source of profit so people are going to continue doing it You can easily get about 30-40 snapdragons an hour - and they make super restores. Do you use up to 30-40 snapdragons an hour - averaged over your time playing? Probably not. I mean the price is going to fluctuate - but don't expect it to go back up to like 15k or whatever.

    Jad

I'm not sure if the deflecting method works anymore. I didn't attack Jad at all and tried to deflect but then he still summoned his healers. Tbh, for the melee method - you just pray melee and smack him around (with your rapier) When he summons his healers - then you can claw him out + rapier him to death Makes no sense to waste all that dps in the beginning if hes just going to heal through it later
  3. At 84 hunter - you should either be doing common jadinkos or red salamanders (probably reds since you dont have an artic bear) I made those pitfalls for Kyakks or whatever (probably Graahks?) and they were notoriously bad exp as well as annoying to trap
  4. Anyhow - I got bored and decided to list the differences Sumona - Banshees, Basilisks, Blue Dragon, Cave Crawlers, Cave Horrors, Elves, Kurasks, Red Dragons, Spiritual Warriors, Terror Dogs, Trolls, Turoth Duradel - Dark Beasts, Gorak, Scabarites, Skeletal Wyvern, Warped TBirds I did Sumona as soon as I could until I unlocked Duradel TBH, I didn't get most of these tasks (i.e Cave Crawlers/Cave Horrors/Elves/Kurasks/Red Dragons/Spiritual Warriors/Tdogs/Turoth/Dark Beasts/Skeletal Wyvern/Warped TBirds) The monsters I did get from Sumona took longer to kill and aren't really even efficient to cannon Duradel's Gorak/Scarabites are extremely fast with a cannon and I didn't have much trouble with his task list. Sumona also liked to give me stupid dust devils which just suck in general.
  5. I switched to Duradel as soon as I could. Either way - the difference was a few tasks. I felt that Duradel gave better tasks (I got a lot more black demons/hellhounds/etc) Sumona gave a lot of tasks that were just super easy but that can be good and bad. I think the only real difference would be - if your combat level was extremely low or you couldn't afford pray pot/piety in which case Sumona would be a good choice.
  6. Power slaying is NOT using prayer. EVERYONE should be using prayer - it actually INCREASES profits as prayer pots are so cheap, and it DRASTICALLY increases KPH on all tasks. Herb farming is decent with juju's, okay-ish without them. You're not going to get good money from slayer until higher levels, unless you have the capacity to do DKS with your Dagganoth tasks, but you should still profit even using prayer for all tasks and using the cannon sparingly. This, cannonballs are prohibitively expensive - and on large tasks you get to use >1k which ends up to costing more then 250k to do a task If you want - you can just skip these until you have a found a decent way to supply yourself with cannonballs Slayer is only decent money - but you get pretty great exp along the way (melee+hp+slayer) and since slayer is so slow, you might as well start it asap. Pick up most of the rune items (full helm/chains/etc). I usually end up with about one mil worth of items a week and I barely slay really. I also do a lot of tasks (dags, hellhounds, kalphites, spectres) where you don't get much in terms of drops. Farming is always a good idea/MTK is amazing as well. Doing your dailies will provide you with a couple of mil a week (I generally buy the broad bolt/arrows + the chicken from oolong)

    Auras

Honestly none of them are really that good. I got reverence - and it's useful sometimes on longer tasks (like waterfiends/black demons - without access to a combat familiar)
  8. You can low alch I dont think you can do any fletching seeing as the whole interface comes up and then you gotta click the icon in the middle and its bound to take at least a tick
  9. They seem to relate to the Clan Citadel update coming up soon. They're more like teasers then anything useful. And they block your path :(
  10. TBH, this dwarven axe is useless all around. There's really 0 things you can do that would successfully utilize the multiple uses of the axe without sacrificing tons of exp gain. It's like the inferno adze, only less useful and more junky.
  11. Other then having an auto clicker - how in the world would alching be very afk-able?
  12. TBH, turmoil/piety adds a bunch to your dps but I'm not sure how much people actually do it. It's also good to pile high levled monsters together rather then to split off to save prayer. However I tend to see that many people pile extremely low leveled monsters and that just wastes time. This isn't much help - but if you lurk in the DGS thread in the H&A, you get to learn a lot A lot of the "how to get dgs done faster/how to maximize dps questions" are asked there and it's nice cause they actually go by research rather then what they feel is "right" during gds
  13. The priority depends on both the gd and the team. In general - get the necro/mages/shades first Some people would rather the CSB go for warriors while others take care of the mages Then the baxes go for low defense monsters like zombies while the 2hs go for higher tier ranger/mages and skeletons I believe
  14. This is a dumb question but: If you have a ccs + surgebox and T10 blitzer/blazer, is there any monsters you would mage that you wouldn't normally otherwise?
  15. TBH, you should just cannon the ones under the lighthouse It's unlocked during one of the quest (the same one that give you an unfilled prayer book iirc)
  16. What in the world is that purple stew? I do wish that they made extremes/etc noteable - would make decanting SSSOOO much easier
  17. Even so, the rapier is amazing for its stab bonus. Assuming Jagex doesn't do a totally random change - the vine whip should probably be used on slash and it's also probably going to keep its accurate/controlled/defensive styles. TL;DR - get a rapier even though the vine whip is coming out
  18. right now it seems like your summoning is just a bit below your melee. since this is the case - I would suggest you just use the moss titans because they're a whole ton cheaper try to do bork every day (those blue/reds add up) and familiarisation whenever you can.
  19. Whips are good too. Rapiers pretty much the best all around weapon - add a ddef iwth it and it's pretty hard to beat. You're at lvl 79 dg - so it's really not that far off. How did you get to 99 atk/96 str/90 def with only a dragon scimitar? :o
  20. Sorry to hijack the thread but what exactly is an EEK?
  21. I think that generally - it's better to wait for 96 to make overloads. (If you're going for 99 in everthing) The only reason I can see to pot for overloads is if you wanted to boss or pvm things that actually required overloads. If you start making overloads so soon, you're going to have to waste a lot more gold/exp on herblore in the end. Just start making a bunch of the cheapest potions - 2k of every extreme sounds like a decent number. 2K overloads is a lot to use and you won't be using them up that soon. Grimy made a bunch of pretty amazing spreadsheets which details how much gold each exp costs for a bunch of skills. You can go here and just pick out the one for herblore (it's also a helpful site to save to look up costs for other skills when you want to level those) http://www.[Caution: Jagex Rule Violation]/temporary-spreadsheet-thread-t3.html
  22. Yeah, having two specials is more then enough. She doesn't really go into her berserk mode all that often - but if you're scared bring one of those spec restore pots if you're afraid you'll mess up. Pretty much just follow what Cheat says because it's absolutely true. Your rangers will do a ton of damage - so just keep waiting while the rangers come. Your number one priority is to kill the defilers that come out (they'll take out your rangers fast). If you are the super cautious type - you can save all your specs til the end when you have enough rangers on your side and just spec it to death all at once.
  23. I don't think you can really measure exactly 30 seconds. However, if you take a death to save everybody some time - it's not a bad idea. Although it may not be "efficient', "suiciding" can be conducive to learning which is one of the main points of DGS. I'm sure you'll pay a lot more attention to side stepping/safe spotting/etc and all those little tricks to reduce food needed if you're actually trying to do the DG as fast as possible and not stopping all the time to grab an inventory full of food just because you can't get your protection prayers on or you don't want to practice combat techniques.
  24. then hours? one way ramo/merc rooms forever. Most of the keyers in DGS can usually pull a sub 30 with a competent team It also depends on the kind of rooms you get and the boss If you're averaging 30 and improving your game all the time - it's probably a pretty good sign?
  25. Does anybody know how outdated the AOW guide is? (Or if it's not outdated at all)
