i don't think i'll buy it, unless future (f2p) updates require me to get more bank space. it would be a pain in the [wagon] to keep that key with me though - i'd be much more likely to lose the security key than to be hacked.

the anti-sec movement has actually been around for awhile, but i guess they're resurfacing again in a very big way edit: looks like imageshack is being fixed, some/most of the pictures are working again

i've never had any doubts about the security of my RS account, but, depending on the amount of bank space given, I would definitely put some thought into getting the security key if its $10... $20 seems a bit much though. i just wonder what would happen if someone loses their key - since its a randomly generated key number, would they have to purchase another device in order to login ever again? :wall:

another reason im happy to be f2p -fewer buggy updates :thumbup: unlucky dude though, although I never ever carry around more than like 10m outside a bank in case anything happens

i have an idea of how Jagex may be planning to curb this Gp-influx, but i'd rather not say in case I'm wrong. None of this has really affected me anyway - only thing I've started doing it not selling any of the drops I get from roaches. I rarely have more than 2-3% of my bank value in Gp at any given time, so I guess I was well prepared for all of this O:)

Nice straw man. Many Obsidian items were dropped, there's so many in game it's almost impossible for it to go up unless bought out. Even you said, MILD inflation is good, however in Runescape it's MASSIVE inflation, have you EVER seen 15-20% jump in high end items within a week or so? No. Yes. It would happen often before the GE was implemented. It just seems unusual now because the % gains are displayed for everyone to see, rather than having to track and calculate the prices yourself. I remember when I first started looking into buying a phat, back in like 2005-6, white phat was 10m one week, then 17m the next week, then like 25m the next week.

most prices are just returning to the point where they were awhile ago. i don't see the problem with that. when old-style pking and staking were removed, prices plummeted. Now, some prices are getting back to the point where they used to be.

about 2m in gp. this is a bad time to keep your money in pure cash, so i spend most of it each time i accumulate 5m or so. i have a huge majority of my bank value in items at the moment, many of which I never plan to sell.

The Percent Gains for 180 day Price risers is wayyy off. Mahogany Tables went from 14gp to 380gp, and it only says a 14% rise.

All items tend to rise in price during the summer anyways, so I still don't believe that 26k'ing has affected the market as much as people think it has. The expectation of its effects has probably driven up prices more than 26k'ing itself...

You should just stop mining then :P I haven't mined in over a year and its done wonders for my morale.

I assume all these new PvP items are for p2p only? edit: got a 20k and a 40k item, so at least the lesser drops are f2p. I didn't wait around long enough to get high EP.

This list has no connection to any 'F2p Fog' lists out there, as this list is based solely upon total skill level, so please keep that out of this topic But - if people want to play FoG, for whatever reasons they have, who cares? Its bonuses aren't that great compared to the time spent obtaining the required tokens, and it still takes many many thousands of hours to max out in f2p - Fog doesn't change that. edit: Except for water is nat... hes a noob for playing fog :twisted:
