SO, how has the rares market responded to the new skill? Since you can't even bring anything in, there shouldn't be much response except for panic selling. The only thing I see falling a bit is Elly like people have said, but other then that....anything? Also, how is this new money sink going to affter the economy? 200k/hour seems like plenty, but then again it's only continuous combat. Plus, how many people are going to get enough tokens for the shields....

There is a right click option on your ring to re-read any of the notes you have gotten. But you MUST pick them up for them to be available via the ring. For the longest time I figured that since they disappeared right away anyway that I wouldn't bother picking them up....now I wish I had, there's some great lore in them.

I'm all for freedom of speech and all that, but sometimes your way of stating your opinion and the shear number of posts that you have to say it over and over again starts to sound like a broken record. OT: They gave us another hint that pointed to something that we couldn't really guess. The hint looked like a single 'demon home' pointing to some sort of boss monster, but alas it was the new skill. Either way, it's nice to know that the "omg new skill hint" can end for another couple years.

Or perhaps there are different tunnels stemming from one central entrance point. Members must go left and F2P must go right. That way they can have different 'difficulties' of bosses with good rewards for F2P but P2P can't abuse it to just farm for rewards.

'Daemonheim' anagrams to 'made in home' so while it makes a nice phase, it doesn't make sense in the constext . If you anagram to whole thing you get 'Daemonheim awaits' anagrams to' I am headiest woman.' So yeah...probably not an anagram. Or perhaps it's referencing the German Band. :rolleyes: So yeah, sounds like a sweet new demon boss.

So, in the link to Zybez someone posted a bit back, W13 said that they lost 80% of ad revenue from removing RWT ads. My question is, how much will TIPIT be losing/gaining from this deal? I don't know how much money it takes to run this site, I really don't care too much (although seeing the numbers could be interesting), but I certainly don't want the quality to have to go down. If I could, I would donate to TIPIT with paypal, but being a student I've got more then enough real life debt to take care of first....maybe one day when I'm a millionaire I can donate my private yacht for a staff outing or somehing :rolleyes: EDIT: This was answered 2 posts up.

TIF won't stay independent of Jagex though because of the support and rewards Jagex have offered, at the minute they're only asking to keep RWT adverts off the forums which seems fair enough as it has a negative impact on the game. The thing is though, that they're not just asking to block RWT (and similar) ads. They are also asking fansites to block ALL other games. That IMO is where they're going a bit too far. Yes, requiring no RWT ads should be the number 2 thing when ranking sites (behind actual content), but to block other games that often aren't even Jagex's competition? That's just wrong.

EDIT: With all the trolling etc going on in this thread, I've decided to edit out my bashing of Sal's R. Regardless, I beleive that Jagex should have focused more on content of the fansites and removing RWT site ads then other game ads.

How is Tipit not platinum? We've got just as much 'raw content' as others. Guides for everything, so many calculators I don't even know what to do! And our community is by far the best out there. Oh, and I thought Sal's was dead.... honestly I haven't heard of anyone using it in years. Anyway, keep up the good work website team! We'll get platinum some day :thumbsup:

I'm pretty sure that a Jmod confirmed that there will be no 'training quest' for the new skill. You will be able to just get right into training. Not sure where I read it, maybe it was one of the Q&A's.

The << aaaaa >>> is signifying the screaming of the riders on the flume. Perhaps "Ahhhhh" with an English accent is "aaaaa"? a log flume with extra = a a eel film tux growth. Eel? Water? And if there is I applaud anyone who can decipher it and Jagex for making it because it's not a simple angram that a solver can figure out.

Yes, jewelery has been a hot item for F2P clans for a while now (most are led by members). Because of the rogue, the leaders don't even have to predump on their clan. They just force it as high as it can go and when it crashes just dump the items on the rogue. You may not be able to sell for max, but there is no fear as to pushing it to its absolute max because there is an 'easy way out'. Plus, when the item does inevitably fail, the price never goes down because the leaders with the massive percent stake in the item just dump them into the rogue. (see diamond amulets for an example).

Santa hat = 54M x 5 = 270M (Very stable atm) Green H'ween = 70M x 2 = 140M (hearing they are between min and med) Blue H'ween = 90M x 1 = 90M (not too sure on this one, seeing offers from 87-95) Yellow Phat = 600M x 1 = 600M (seeing offers ranging from 1 egg + 2 onyx to 2 eggs) So in total you're looking at 1.1B. Keep in mind, I'm F2P so I can't get to W2 to see the 'real' street prices, but sifting through the RSOF, averaging offers and steering clear of manipulators is usually a good way to approximate.

Looking back at some of the first pages, it has now been 1 year since manipulators bought out phats. People were all concerned that they would be stuck with them after a crash...1 year later and they still haven't crashed (thanks a lot PVP rewards! :wall: ). They still appear to be going strong. At this point, with a HUGE portion of phats stuck in the banks of hoarders, is it even possible for the phat market to crash? They cost so much in the GE now that, even if new 'epic' items are tradable (and buyable for GP which is unlikely) , it should only require a hoarder to sell 1 partyhat to get it. If there are say, 200 people who would sell off a phat for this item (again assuming they do this via the GE and not street price) is this even enough to crash the market? I guess what I'm trying to say is that, since phats are so valuable GE price, that you only need to sell one to get anything you want which means that these hoarders will never get rid of enough of their phats and the buyout will continue. Am I right in assuming this? Or is there somehting I'm missing?

Melee + range - Moss giants on Crandor so you get B bones for prayer Mage - Either combat vs mossies (gets expensive after a while) or alch / superheat. If you mine your own ore, superheat it into bars, then make plates and alch, that should be pretty good exp (not sure about price). RC - either air runes, or earth runes. If you like FOG then get the gloves Crafting - Quite expensive in F2P. Either make gold jewlery, or leather. Mining - Power mining in Rimington and selling to the Gen Store works well. (takes about the same time as dropping for most people but less clicking). Or mine coal (in guild) and iron (near Champs guild). Smithing - Either mine your own ores for 100% profit, smelt for decent profit, or buy bars and make into pl8s for a loss. Fishing - Barb Village fly fishing - bank in Edge Cooking - Cook the fish you catch Firemaking - Burn maples

Purples are pretty much the same as easter eggs which are like 330M, so you have a way to go. Unless you snipe an easter on the GE....then again you would still need 200M junk....

Pokemon and RuneScape are different. Pokemon is something that kids grew up with. I didn't grow up with it. I don't like it. I think it's dumb. I didn't grow up with RuneScape, either. I like it. I think it's cool. Calling it more successful is objective. Did it make more money? Certainly. Was it designed to make more money? Yep. RuneScape could "sell out" and it seems like it gets a little closer to that every day. Anyway, this isn't a Pokemon site. I didn't come here for that. So, yeah, change it for April Fool's Day and that's fine. Some people like it. I think most people were just tired of the joke by the next day (myself included) and didn't care to see it any longer. Also, as a player mod, I can confirm that a) We are not allowed to just report because someone outmines someone b ) You can't report anyone unless you are there, so unless his 'p mod friend' was there he couldn't do anything. c) P Mods can't ban. We can mute, but we don't have any power over bans.

A clan hit emerald rings. That forced cut emeralds up, then uncut emerald, and since emeralds cost so much, rubies naturally rose to maintain the gap and then diamonds did. Sapphires just rose to try to keep up with the rest. Don't you just love manipulation clans' effect on the economy? I know I do! :wall:
