  1. Light things - you don't want a steak every night. Stick to salads, baked white fish and chicken, garlic, other light menus.
  2. The only thing I can remember about Pokemon is this huge poster my brother used to have in his room, with all the creatures on it. Ha, I loved that poster... 8-) Then he gave it to me and I chucked it away... #-o
  3. Ah, ok. I thought you meant just two random myths. Best bet is wikipedia. Edit; Muhahaha. Have a look at this page, you may be able to find something... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_legends_and_myths
  4. There was an indian one about a sun god... it's about three brothers who travel to the end of the world and capture the sun in a net. I can't remember what it's called but try googling Myths and Legends by Anthony Horowitz, that's a great book, I think it's got about 35 stories from China, India, American, Africa, South America, Britain and Japan.
  5. That...was...soooooo...funny...  =D>
  6. You, on the other hand must be the smartest and nicest person in the world... First time I played the saxophone I broke the reed in half. (I dunno how. It was probably a mix of biting and chewing it) It's harder than you would think... Mum; Ok, my mum is really nice but sometimes she gets a lil' bit stressed when she has to work late. My mum is probably one of the best in the world. She walks Tess at 6 every weekday morning, makes supper 3 times a week, goes to work, washes the dishes, and all while looking after Dad and Sam and me and making sure we're ok. Ever more weird she seems to enjoy it. :D. No idea how though. Dad; v. nice but kinda self-righteous. Like, he promises to take me to badminton or something, then we miss our court because he's working in his studio... (wannabee record producer... :wall: . Which can be annoying) But he's funny, and he loves doing stuff with us, taking us swimming, going to see shows, that kind of thing. Brother; For those who don't know, tokytoky3333 is my brother. Ha yeah... he's really annoying. Like, I'm painting my room so I'm sleeping in the spare room (when there's another TV) and he's watching match of the day or some other cabbage (my opinion only) and I'm like 'Hey Sam I'm going to bed now, can you go please, have a nice sleep!' 'WHY CAN'T YOU EVER BE NICE OMG OMG OMG JUST 10 DANG MINUTES TILL THE END OF THE GAME AND ARSENAL ARE WINNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! * *followed by suchlike stream of abuse* and he always complains when it's his turn to do stuff... like make supper or walk Tess... Me; Well, I'm just the best. 8-) No, I'm not really...but I do most of the chores which Sam is meant to do...(ha sam has to do the ironing though hehe) :P Tess; Golden retriever cutie! 5 years old. Tess has a really gentle tempermant and never bites or anything. (Except on the rare occasion when my mum and dad are arguing about something, when she will literally dive on Dad and chew his wrists till he shuts up.) But yeah, I love my family. I have two of the best parents ever. :P PS. Anyone remember this? Hehe.
  7. Oh. My. That was soooo funny!!! I like Bedevere and Tristan because they're both just cool. 8-)

    "First post!"

I'll refer to what I said above, I've never seen it on forums before. It usually is the first post that the person says first post in. Like on blogs, you can comment, and the first post is the first post. Same thing on Fark. See it on Jinx also. I know, but I mean the beginning of the thread is logically the first post, the first post from which all the rest come from. I'm not talking about what the forum counts it as.
  9. Welcome to Tipit! Enjoy the site and thanks for taking time to write this. This is the wrong forum I think... No, I don't like the guide. It's kinda cliche, you haven't really added interesting language or new ways to make money. Nice paragraphing though. Edit; and NEVER, NEVER, in a piece of writing do numbers appear as numbers. Change all the numbers into words, you'll be surprised how much more professional it looks. I.e; 200k two-hundred k or two hundred thousand gp. (The latter looks better but meh it's your choice.)
  10. I think it was 18, according to the BBC, which is four months and probabky enough time to decide whats best for mother and child. :D
  11. I have a story to tell (I like telling stories). There was a girl who was in love with one of my friends. I dont know if he liked her back but she didn't think so. On my friends 16th birthday, the girl that loved him commited suicide because she didn't think he loved her. He felt horrible and if I had been in his situation I would have felt horrible. Can you honestly sit there and tell me if someone commited suicide because you don't love them, you wouldn't feel bad about it? I don't mean to start a flame war over this, I'm just saying it's natural to feel bad about things like this. You're right. Obviously you would feel bad, but honestly it wouldn't be your fault...would it?
  12. Thanks Panda. We all love you too. :3>

    "First post!"

It's a literal phase. First post means the first post. Actually no. 'First post' logically means the second post. (The first after the start of the thread) Well, I personally count the beginning of a thread to be a post, but it depends on ys point of view.
  14. Ah yes... And then there's the grear Dutch Ditchjumping. It's so original and most likely really hard, though I've never tried it. The concept is a large ditch about 20 metres across. It's shallow (about 4 ft I think) and there is a v. tall, v. thin pole about halfway across. Leading up to it is a diving board. You run along the diving board, then jump onto the pole. It begins to tip over towards the other side of the ditch, and you have to climb up it AFAP. Then it falls over, and the higher you got, the further you fall, and the more points. But if you fall off the pole... SPLASH. Haha..

  16. Ok, a cliched topic, but one a hope we can all enjoy. What is your favourite sport(s)? Why do you like this sport(s)? How good are you? Have you ever won any competitions? Who do you play with and where? For me, badminton and cycling. I like badminton because the racquet is very light, and the 'thud' and 'whooosh!' sounds when the shuttlecock hits the head are unbelieveably satisfying. I also like being in control, and such a sense of power is just fantastic. I like cycling because it's firstly a good way of getting around, secondly it's very sociable and thirdly because cycling makes me feel free. For instance if I'm in a bad mood or anything I'll just go out cycling for a few hours and come back feeling better than ever. I'm v. good at cycling (sorry to boast lol) planning on the London-Brighton as soon as I'm fourteen. This May it'll be my fourth go at the London Bridges. Badminton...I'm not very good but hoping to get better! I play badminton at the local leisure centre with my dad. I cycle everwhere on my own or with friends. So how about you?
  17. I used to eat sand and paper, but stopped when I was 3... (not together, may I add)
  18. Try and widen what you talk about. Favourite music, films, author, that kind of thing. Invite people round, get talking about new things, go to parties, that kind of thing. Just enjoy yourself.
  19. Thankyou sooo much! :P Now can I be really cheeky and ask whether you do avvies too... :D
  20. I'm starting to think I should create a new thread about geographical education to save spam... sorry for my spam...forgive me, I know I'm naughty. :( PS. But then again, I don't regard spam as a bad thing... nevermind I better shut up.
  21. 10/10... though, Ragen, we haven't talked for quite a while now! :(

  23. Foolish mortal, I am surprised that the master has neglected to smite such an uneducated person as you. What do you kids get taught in school nowadays? Not alot. Although my chemistry teacher told us dangerous things.. Milk powder+ candle= Fireball.[/off topicness] 1) Find out if she has a BF then flirt back if she don't. (don't want hurt now, do we?) 2) You should care why? She has problems and it is none of your problem that she is a physco. Let her deal with her own problems. If she kills herself, then do not feel guilty. She commited suicide, it was her choice, not your problem. Yar...ether all over the floor + hot splint = BANG and a classroom full of screaming psyhcopaths. [/offtopicness] Just what Sworddude said. She's the crazy one, not you, and you should never blame yourself for what others have done to themselves.
  24. My dad can juggle with 5 apples and eat them as he does it while singing the National Anthem. It's true, I kid you not.
  25. Lol, that was semi-lame. #-o None of the original cards are in the last hand. Oh Dash. So that's what happened? Dang I fell for it... #-o
