April 14, 200719 yr I was level 42 with 50 ranged and 30 mage using a crossbow and earth bolt. My friend gave me extra lobbies half way through so I could complete it. :D

Yes you can, you can't wear a rune PLATE until you've done the quest, you silly newbie. Anyhow, I did it at I believe 65 or so, this was back in RSC when Elvarg was actually a bit harder. Nowadays I see level 50's and lower finishing it, because Jagex dumbed it down, which is lame. April 15, 200719 yr Well if I remember correctly, I was about level 62...full rune with chain of course and a rune scimitar...sad part was I was a member and I brought super set and sharks...way overkill.
