lv 43ish i think, wearing green dhide legs and full iron, taking rune scimitar and lobsters. Yeah...after that I decided to get my defense to 40...jumped to lv 32? after that one fight.

I was 60 something, I used a cannon.

When I was level 62. I took 13 lobsters and used 3.

 

 

 

I was wearing an Addy Plate, Rune Battleaxe and an anti-fire shield.

back in rsc you had to be like lvl 50-60 with full rune (chain)

 

lol, cause I was a late blossomer, I did it around lvl 60

 

You can do it with a lvl 20 if you range him or something

Oh wow, that was a long while ago. I completed that quest sometime in late 2001. I'm guessing in the level 40's. I remember the night better. I was with a group of friends. I have to admit we all cheated. This was back in the day when the 3 map pieces were still tradable. I got them from a friend. The first time I went against Elvarg, she killed me. I later snuck to my dad's work where I could use the internet, passed my "bedtime" (was a school night and I was only a freshman in highschool.) and I victoriously was the first of my friends to be able to wear a rune platemail body. However soon after Guantlets were released nobody wore the stinking Plate anyway, everyone wore the Rune chain because you couldn't wear guantlets with platemail. what a fun time.

level 69 when i first did it, completed it at lvl 7 afterwards

i dont remember quite... but what i do remember, that i walked in the gate, and bam HEADSHOT, i got pwnt by the dragon

 

apparently i had forgotten my antidragonfire shield :wall:

I did it at level 46 with some green d hide and a rune scim. The dragon is really easy though.

 

 

 

I remember how amazed i was when i finished and ended up being 50 combat or something like that :shock:

I was 52, my friend kept yelling at me like "OMG you must be lvl 60+ that dragon is teh pwnzor!!!"

 

 

 

I owned it of course lol. Easiest big boss fight ever.

i bought 100 chaos for him -.-

76 with full blue d hide and a dds. like two specs to kill him... :-s

Somewhere between 45-55, no armour or food just a rune scimmy and anti-fire shield.

 

 

 

When i was there some one tried to kill it in full addy no fireshield, he died so i picked all is stuff up and just finished the dragon off. Quest compelte and get an extra bonus of full addy.

I done at level 47.

 

Here were my stats.

40 defence

 

37 prayer -.-

I did it in full rune with a longsword.

I was level 50. I used Hunter X-bow, anti-fire shield, monks robes and pwned it tbh...

Level 56, wore full addy with a rune long. Used about 20 lobs. #-o

LOL, I was dirt poor when I did it, just finished lost city so of course I bought both kinds of weapons that I could. Turns out I met some guy who traded me rune chain, rune legs, and rune helmet for the longsword :

 

 

 

So, that was my gear. ddp + full rune w/ chain.

 

 

 

I used like.... two lobsters? level 71 owned that poor draggy :-s

I was a lvl 60 with a rune 2h :wall: :wall:

 

 

 

2nd time= lvl 61 with a anti-d shield and a rune scimmy

I think I was combat 57, wearing full rune (with chain).

The first time I did it, I had done most of the quest on RSC and was on crandor when I logged out, next day RS2 came out so I went and butchered Elvarg easily with Addy Plate and Helm, leather chaps rune baxe and 20 lobbies, used about 8, was level 48 on f2p.

 

 

 

Second time I did it, was level 46, full addy, rune scimmy, used 2 lobbies. :XD:

 

 

 

BTW. when did they change the quest? Elvargs lair is different (I presume that changed with Crandor) but theres a cutscene when you get on the boat the first time, Elvarg nukes your boat and kills the cabin boy. You need to cut off Elvargs head and take it to Oziach now after you kill her. Goes into much deeper detail about the history of crandor... etc

I was level 48, with an addy chain and rune mace and anti-dragon shield(tight budget), a full inventory of lobbies, and a strength pot.

this is embaressing... 68... i couldn't get enough money for decent gear so i had to mooch full rune from a friend.

i did it at level 50 back in rsc and used 12 lobs.

59 - was 48 the first time (I teled, i only brought shrimp lol) 8-)

First time I was level 87, and I ate like 7-9 lobbs.

 

Second time I did it was at level 24, I ate all my swordies, and it was just luck i didn't get hit a 3. I died by the skeles when i went outside of the gate though. lol.
