This is a simple question, and I wanted to see if people brought one or not, if you don't bring one to barrows, list what you bring instead of it.

 

 

 

I personally, always need one. I've done 2.8k runs, and not got even closed to needing it. (Except that time when I got dced on Karil no prayer. =p) But, I can just imagine, the one run I don't have it, I get dced and I die.

 

 

 

 

 

So, yes or no, why or why not? What do you bring instead?

I wear a warrior ring, purely because I whip every brother at barrows. Turning out to be quite a success.

I wear one ALL the time. And so should you, unless ur pkilling.

i only wear one when im go pking, but then again doing that means i have no honour so..i wear one when im doing clue scrolls...ever since i died from one and some noobikins took my stuff and didnt return.

 

 

 

i just wear a ring of dueling, because i dont know in my opinion its the only tele that you can use thats next to a bank(castle wars)

I never do barrows but a mod confirmed it does increase the odds of a better reward

I use a ROW, I feel completely safe at barrows. :

What power does the ring of wealth give you?

 

 

 

The ring of wealth increases the chance of getting a rare drop when you kill a monster. You will never get items that are not normally dropped by that monster (e.g. a dragon medium helmet from a chicken) but you may get something that the monster seldom drops.

 

 

 

Things like Treasure Trail rewards and Barrows rewards, which aren't monster drops, are not affected by the ring of wealth.

 

 

 

 

 

Personally I wear a seers ring.

i never bring one, i always have five prayer pots and monkfish, so i never take damage unless i'm at verac or in the tunnels.

 

heck, i never wear a life, the most recent times i died, i got k0ed straight from 30+ health (by a pure and by damis). that, and very few monsters are going to leave me at 7 health...

 

 

 

Very few monsters are going to leave me at 7 health? .. At the moment the ring has saved me 2 times. Firstly on my second trip ever. I freaked out on my second trip of barrows ever when karil spawned at the chest. Missclicked to much, the dude was on dope and I found myself in Falador. Luckily (!) Without a ring of life, because when it saves you, it gets destroyed 8-)

 

 

 

And another time, which I hardly remember. I haven't died at barrows yet. Came close twice. Not taking any chances. My gear is worth more then I could earn EXTRA with a different ring.

Nope. I bring ring of wealth just out of superstition, even if Jagex says it doesn't help 8-)

 

 

 

Besides, there's a very small window for your ROL to work, and all of the Barrows Brothers are capable of KO'ing you outside that range, so it doesn't seem worth it to me.

But I got a Spear without it. I forgot it in the bank! :-$

Not really, when I used to barrow I used it at times. About 1/50 runs or so.

I've only died once...and it was because dharock maxed me :P

Yea, but, I don't even know why I wear one, seeing as every person I've seen die, get hit like 18s or 20s to get koed. So, the ROL was useless. But still, I wear it.

Dont laugh...but ive personally only done barrows about 10 times.

 

 

 

First time i went i didnt take ROL and i died #-o

 

 

 

Other nine times i did take it and didnt come close to dieing.

 

 

 

 

 

Personally, i take more prayer pots (about 10) instead of ROL just incase, buit only use up 7.

Always. Saved me about 10M in this pic (fury, etc). It saved me a few furies, whips, robins, and so on many other times outside of barrows too :D

Lag at karil in tunnel one time, clicked like 100 times on monkfish in my inventory, i didn't eat. Repeated 15+ hits and i'm redbarred. Oh there's another few hundred k down the drain. *teleport* wait, what? "your ring of life saves you and is destroyed in the process" oooo :D... that was a close one :wink: Good ol' Ring of Life :D
