Armored Boot Challenge

What you need: At least 78 slayer and probably in the realm of 4 hours.

 

 

 

The Armored Boot Challenge:

 

 

 

While I was harvesting some herbs from the cave crawlers in the Rellekka slayer dungeon, I saw a couple of bronze boot drops and I thought to myself, "why would I ever want to pick these up?"

 

 

 

Then I had an idea: I wonder how long it would take to start at the bronze boots killing each slayer monster in turn until it drops its specialized boots until you got the whole set. I bet I could do it in three hours.

 

 

 

I was close, but I couldn't do it that quickly. I have a little program that I use for all sorts of timers, and I planted it on the runescape window so you can see how far I was along each time I got a boot drop.

 

 

 

It was a lot of fun.

 

 

 

I challenge someone to beat my time.

Thats pretty interesting how you could get the boot sets that quickly..lol.

 

 

 

I really do want to see someone beat this, have to wait at least 5 hours though.

I did something similiar a while ago and got tried to get every drop within the slayer dungeon.

 

 

 

I gave up after killing basilisks for a couple of hours without a stupid hat, I swear they don't drop them as I'm pretty sure I've NEVER had one :wall:

for the record, if you use the sara room for the mages wearing a sara and zammy item you can camp out there with 0 food or prayer for as long as you like, save you a ton on p pots, since the mages are almost always being attacked by werewolves.

I got the white hat about 20 or so basilisks away from the end of my 120 or so task.

Even if he did fake it (which I doubt he did, because there wouldn't really be a point in doing so), it still raises a good challenge, and lets other try to beat his record.

Nice :P, sounds like fun but I know it would take me ages. I have awful luck with drops :(. Most people I know? Get a Black Mask almost every Cave Horror task, or a couple per trip sometimes. I've gotten one... ever :(. And I don't have 80 slayer for the Nechs :P.
