mikehild
I can't stand firemaking, but I don't think that's from doing it a lot. I have just never been able to doing it for long periods of time. I can't recall anything that I am sick of from doing it too much.
Freesia
That happened with mining and agility. After I got 99 in both, I couldn't stand doing both again for another 1 or 2 hours. But I'll let abyss rc train them both. :P Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(. wild_goat_14
Cooking:Got 99, now I hate it. Firemaking:I havew burnt out on it 2 or 3 times, keep getting back into it, I'm 89/90 now. Fishing:Same as Fm. Same level even. Thieving:Did not burn me out. I still love plunder. Ranged: How the hell did I get 84? I shall take my flock underneath my own wing, and kick them right the [bleep] out of the tree. If they were meant to fly, they won't break their necks on the concrete. So, what is 1.111... equal to?10/9. Please don't continue.

Crazykid1321
Mining. It was my first 50 skill on my first week on Crazykid1321, my second account, at level 15 or so combat, never touched it but for a few very rare occasions for the past 3 years. But if I stop doing it for a while or really like that skill I get back onto it pretty easily :P Runescaper since June 2005Blog

SwreeTak
I loved doing smithing, but now, after I have trained it so much by for example smithing steel bars, I don't like it at all. Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak
Solidus_77
for a specific skill, I guess this happened to me with hunter. I just was gaining levels but not really having any goal. I just was burnt out, and was even more burnt out when I got to Puro Puro 76th to reach 99 Construction on 6th of February 2007379th to reach 99 Runecrafting on 4th of November 2007 Finally the secrets of goal achieving are revealed! hbk_hossack
Well as a noob, all i did was mine now i cannot mine 3 coal ore without going mad! I reckon it's because i need a change of scenery. I used to be like that with some other skills, but doing them in different places helps. Tat \ 38% of Tip.Iters put stupid made up statistics in their sigs. jackal_55
originally i was aiming for 90 slayer, but then they released dark bows. i figured since everyone else would be trying to get 90 slayer that there would be a lot less achievement, and it kept getting worse to train it. then i thought "hey, that just means i have to get 95 slayer now! :^_^:" to bad i'm only level 72, not even 1m slayer XP either. -.- i figure i'll be 95 slayer by the time i'm 60, assuming i don't leave home. :P nudist hippy vegan elves who inexplicably wear leather. Randox
Skill burnout, you know, do something way to much (maybe you liked it alot), then you can't stand it? Well this just happened to me, rcing, just before the ZMI alter, I now needless to say cannont stand it! Which is a shame.. Being on the cusp of falling out of the top 4,000 runecrafters (which id worked hard to get into :P )made me wonder.. Just how many people out there have found themselves in my situation, completly burned out a skill they used to love, and now loath? Humerious storys would be good :) As would help to make people get back to there skills to! I am workign for 99 hunter, so almost all my time in game is now consumed by hunting. By the end of it im sure the money won't be worth it anymore, but once i've got that 99 I wont need to make money for awhile, and maby by the time im done spending i'll have another goal to pursue.
